Bubble ice cream!! had to give this place a try. And it tastes as good as it looks! They have quite a few flavors and a ton of great toppings. They have bubble ice cream signature creations or you can create your own. There is a walk up window on kings highway that you can order from. It is attached to The Red Hen (same owners). You can also get a regular cone or a waffle cone. These bubble ice cream cones were like ($12) each but they're huge and SO YUMMY. worth the price and drive!

Meh- Had a bubble waffle with fruity pebbles and gummy bears. The gummies were hard and tasted old. Very mediocre for the price.

(My rating is more of a 3.5) ** CASH ONLY **…read more My brother and SIL took my family and I here during a visit. They raved to us about the local creamery that made all of their own homemade ice cream, and had a very dynamic and rotating menu of flavors. As ice cream lovers, we were excited to give it a try! The inside is very eclectic with wall to ceiling DIY murals, and what appears to be thrifted seating inside. The women at the counter were nice but not very welcoming, just kept to themselves and tried to keep the long line moving as fast as they could. Important to note - they're CASH ONLY. Despite all of the unique flavors, I felt a bit limited (to be honest). Very little topping options as the ice creams are designed to have the toppings inside. This makes it hard to get any degree of customization if there's a flavor you like but has one or two no-go ingredients (which was the issue I had most.) The temporary flavor I had was fine, but didn't blow me away or seem any more special than my local spots back home. I think this is an interesting place but I think if I was local, this wouldn't be my usual spot. They truly cater to people who have an adventurous palette and like trying new things, which limits the kind of guests you can attract, or friends you can bring along. (I personally find something I love and tend to stick with it for ice cream, which would be difficult here. And most in my family don't seem to be as adventurous.) Having said that, I noticed they have affogato on the menu so will have to come back and give it a shot next time I'm in town.

Prices were higher than some of the other farm stands I tried, but my main purchase was the tomatoes and they were pretty reasonable, as were some mini peppers I also got. Everything was great quality and very fresh. The tomatoes were like tomato candy. I had them with just a little feta on top and they needed nothing else. I felt like I'd just eaten a fudge cake, they were that amazingly decadent in flavor. YUM! There is a cold case section too, for dairy items. Novelty ice cream treats in the freezer and Bassetts Ice Cream. They also carry nitrate/nitrite-free bacon for a better deal than my normal organic farm, here in PA. It was too far of a drive for me to stock up, but for those of you who are local, it's a deal! Staff is friendly, and you can see the farm fields surrounding this place, going on forever, off into the distance. Very picturesque! Will be back next year for those crazy-bomb tomatoes!

My wife shops at Maugeris regularly in season to get our produce. Farm fresh is best! We went for their fall celebration around Halloween and it was a blast. I must say if you grew up in South Jersey Woodbury Paulsboro, Gibbstown, Mullica Hill, Deptford,…read morePennsgrove Swedesboro anywhere in that area you must have to know of a small Mom and pop shop called Don and Berts. This place has been a staple in my life since I can remember in my childhood and every now and then I come home and I need an nostalgic Reminder of my childhood and Don Bert's soft serve ice cream with sprinkles or Jimmy's and if you know, you know what I mean when I say sprinkles or Jimmy says, yes there's a difference and then the piece that resistance is the cheese fries. Nobody does cheese fries like Don and Berts. They have this resembling taste of McDonald's fries but elevated because there's just the way they do it. It's fries cheese fries more cheese and then they do this little signature thing but they just basically stick off work in it pun intended because when you taste them you're done and I come home and I get it and then I got a soft serve ice cream because not everybody serves chocolate and vanilla on the same cone with such ease And then you get the rainbow sprinkles and the chocolate jammies and I get it turned over in a cup because I don't eat that fast and I don't wanna run it out of my hand but there it was but please keep in mind if you are ever in Paulsboro New Jersey and you wanna stop at Don Bert's Please have cash in hand and if you don't, they have an ATM but it is a cash establishment oh let's not forget didn't get a picture of it but my daughter got a sausage egg and cheese. Breakfast sandwich on Texas toast we went back to my aunts house who lives up the street I have never seen my child in hell a sandwich so quick She tried to cut it in half and eat half and save it for later but like three seconds later I literally watched her open it back up and finish it. I was like wait what so Don and Bert thank you for always being on point.
