After maternity care visits that they required 2x per week,…read moreright up until 36 weeks to when I was no longer high risk, an induction that was pushed on me, giving birth, and a FORCED 5 day hospital stay because of "hypertension" (slightly elevated BP), they billed me numerous times. They've harassed me about my payment plan and wanted thousands a month....mind you, having numerous offices billing me from Ohio Health due to the required 2x a week appointments all over central Ohio. None of them on the same payment plan, resulting in 2 or 3 payments due monthly. Along with each bill, the payments continue to increase...I tried to pay a certain amount each month and was required to fill out financial assistance forms, which was a joke. I jumped through their hoops, submitting paystubs from the last 2 years basically, only to be denied (as expected)... now they are telling me that the agreed payment amount isn't suitable bc my balance increased again. They said they'll send the amount not on the payment plan that they dictate to collections. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told they'd get back to me. What an absolute nightmare!!! Ohio Health and Licking Memorial are absolutely robbing those who need medical care!!! and when you cant afford to pay, they send it to collections!! An absolutely abolishable company!!

***UPDATE*** I just received the results of my cat scan that clearly states I do indeed have PE's…read morebilaterally, as per the scan on 3/8/2022. "Dr" Rachel Terlecky (sp) had her nurses discharge me and tell me I didn't have blood clots in my lungs anymore, because in March this "hospital" said I had them in both lungs. The results I just received say the rt side has cleared up. But her nurses dismissed me and said that "dr" terlecky said I didn't have blood clots, they didn't even ultrasound the back of my knee where 28 days ago I was told I had a dvt behind my knee, I'm guessing the swelling and pain means that one is still present as well. How do you tell someone there blood clots in their lungs are gone when they aren't? The nurses said take some Tylenol, and I quote, you "probably just pulled something in there", one removed my iv and left the room the other put discharge papers on the bed and then left. I personally removed myself from the heart monitor, they didn't even unhook it. ***end of update***just Wish I could put zero stars. Worst experience ever. Not sure why they give you a call light, they don't come to check on you for 55 mins so you may as well not push that button. And no they weren't busy. I'm climbed out of the bed over the railing and there they sat across the hall laughing and doing nothing talking about patients loud enough to hear from across the hall. I was diagnosed with something 28 days ago in this dump, I mean hospital? and I felt horrible today with same symptoms, they didn't even check it and said I no longer had said diagnosis. Here I am discharged at 315a in the same excruciating pain that I was in when I went there at 10p...So, who is correct? The "care team" from last month or the "no care team" from tonight? I would not take my worst enemy to this place. I wish I could post the video that I took. Atrocious. Worst experience ever. Not sure why they give you a call light, they wait 55 mins respond. They had a self check in, which was super easy and efficient…read more The staff are friendly and accommodating The wait was less than 10 minutes just be seen by a nurse And within five minutes, I was seen by the doctor I had an allergic reaction to Semaglutide, but I also had a sinus infection and an ear infection. I have not been able to get out of bed for four days due to the massive headache that I had. Amy Cohagen DO was compassionate and gave me exactly what I needed to be on the mend. Antibiotic steroid but the magic was in the headache medication that she ordered for me. Within a few short hours, I was able to get out of bed and begin to have life normal again Keep in mind, had been to the ER the night before and was still desperate to get rid of my headache. Shout out to this little gem in Newark Ohio and a Doctor who cares for her patients!!!!

Full transparency here, only came to this location to get a Rapid COVID test as a precautionary…read moremeasure for work. I was referred to this location by colleagues due to the fact that they were the only ones at the time who had the rapid test available. I went in the afternoon, I was able to walk right in, they asked me to fill out some basic info and return the paperwork to the receptionist. I waited about 15 minutes and was taken into a exam room. I waited there for approximately 10 minutes, the NP came in and administered the test and I was done within the next 10 minutes. The office is dated as are the exam rooms. They do not accept insurance for COVID tests. For this reason, and the availability of rapid results at other providers, I likely would not go back.

I went in to get tested for a urinary tract infection. They made me pee in a cup and it did not…read moreturn up anything conclusive so they told me they would send the sample in for a more detailed work up and call a prescription in for me based on what they found. I got the prescription but was surprised by a $214 bill which was my cost above and beyond what the insurance paid. Make sure you ask how much it will cost before you allow them to send it in.
