Full transparency here, only came to this location to get a Rapid COVID test as a precautionary measure for work. I was referred to this location by colleagues due to the fact that they were the only ones at the time who had the rapid test available. I went in the afternoon, I was able to walk right in, they asked me to fill out some basic info and return the paperwork to the receptionist. I waited about 15 minutes and was taken into a exam room. I waited there for approximately 10 minutes, the NP came in and administered the test and I was done within the next 10 minutes. The office is dated as are the exam rooms. They do not accept insurance for COVID tests. For this reason, and the availability of rapid results at other providers, I likely would not go back. read more

I went in to get tested for a urinary tract infection. They made me pee in a cup and it did not turn up anything conclusive so they told me they would send the sample in for a more detailed work up and call a prescription in for me based on what they found. I got the prescription but was surprised by a $214 bill which was my cost above and beyond what the insurance paid. Make sure you ask how much it will cost before you allow them to send it in. read more

Took child in for ear infection--asked to put a mask on when we entered and noticed that no one working was wearing them or wearing them correctly. There was a nurse practitioner sitting at the desk having a phone conversation with a patient on speaker phone for ANYONE to hear. read more

Went in on Saturday morning. Staff very caring and competent. Actual nurse practitioner was horrible. This issue was a foreign body in the eye. Numbing agents were brought in but she refused to us them. Kept putting orange dye in the eye and saying nothing was in it. Only had an open bottle of saline so used it because she had "nothing else". Wrote prescription for eye drops. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THE NURSE PRACTITIONER! BTW, once home, eyelash was found under the lid and finally came out. There will be a formal complaint due to the open bottle of saline used. It was not sanitary. read more

Okay receptionist was great. I went back last January and they tested for the flu and said I had a sinus infection. Crazy I had like no sinus infection symptoms. I ended up in the ER the next day for fluids from dehydration from INFLUENZA A. I took my daughter 7 months old this past Saturday for trouble breathing and a fever (Was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection about 3 weeks prior). They tested for RSV and it came back negative. The diagnosed her with an ear infection and sent us on our way with an antibiotic. I called my pediatrician today (Tuesday) since she was not better at all after 72 hours and RSV came back positive. We got breathing treatments and a nebulizer and have to follow back up on Friday. The point is this urgent care - the staff do not take time to diagnose correctly. read more

Filthy Filthy Facilities, Unprofessional, Unclean, and Rude staff. I never write reviews EVER but my experience with this urgent care has been nothing but beyond horrible. I am a tax accountant who works crazy amounts of hours so you know this place is bad if I am taking the time at the beginning of tax season to write this review!!! Before I get into details I will say that if the Licking County Health Department reads this they need to shut this place down. You really need to investigate their unsanitary conditions in addition to health and safety procedures. I think the staff has been mismanaged and are untrained. I have been to this urgent care facility twice and both times was horrified by what I saw. The first time I went there was pre-COVID and approximately two years ago. I went for a urinary tract infection. The nurse gave me a cup to pee in for the medical test and showed me the way to the bathroom. No one had checked or cleaned the bathroom from the patient before me. There were crumpled used vaginal wipes on the sink with the wrapper sitting next to them and the toilet had not been flushed. I was sick to my stomach. I got out as fast as I could. They actually had a sign taped to the front desk that said "Please let us know if the bathroom needs attention". In a medical office!!! You have to tell them when they need to clean their bathroom. The next visit was in the month of November 2020. I only returned to this office because I needed an antibiotic for a raging sinus infection and could not get in anywhere else. While I was waiting for the nurse practitioner they left the door open to the room I was in. I could see the nurse performing the COVID testing. He did not change his gloves between tests, did not wash his hands before coming to take my blood pressure, then proceeded to move his vaping equipment over to where he was working on the tests, again not washing his hands or changing gloves. There was no smell of cleaner or disinfectant. I observed they were not allowing anyone to use their insurance even if it covered Covid testing. They were requiring two hundred dollars cash or credit card for a rapid test. It is my opinion from everything I experienced or saw, that this medical practice does not care about the health and safety of the patients. It is obvious by the lack of sanitary practices and the lack of caring about the quality of their work and how it effects other people in our community. To add insult to injury, when I thought there was no way this office could get any more uncaring and unprofessional, I received a statement from a health insurance company that I do not have, with my name and address on it, saying it did not cover the bill for over 238 dollars of medical supplies from my office visit in November to Family Urgent Care. It appears Family Urgent Care was not diligent and submitted another patient's medical bill to that patient's insurance company under my name. They appear to have mixed up my medical records with that of another patient's. I paid my copay for my office visit the same day under the correct insurance company with my debit card for my personal bank account. So It appears now that I may be receiving a bill from Family Urgent for someone else's medical care and it will be up to me to use my time to correct this error. The owner obviously does not care about the quality of the employees' work, the health and safety of the people in our community, or the due diligence of the office staff. Next time if I can't get into an urgent care I will go to the hospital before I go here again. I am not being sarcastic. I am being honest. Hopefully by then this terrible place will have shut its doors. read more

Absolutely the worst. I needed a COVID-19 test for travel. 40 minutes to get in an out. Only one other customer in there. 4 people working. I'm pretty sure they didn't do it correctly. Then, they knew I needed it for travel, but didn't call me when they got the results. I had to call them. When the bill came, the itemiZed charges were ridiculous. $12 for non-sterile gloves! I could have bought 100 pairs for that! They use ONE pair. Patient cost for that $11.65. Measured blood oxygen? No, they didn't but they charged me for it. New patient costs $340!!! Total they billed the insurance was $486. Poor service. Poor care. Bogus charges. The worst. read more

Once you get past the long dark haired secretary or RN that was working the desk the people were really nice. She had a horrible attitude and was the polar opposite of someone who should be greeting pts. I am also an RN and I know her kind, grumpy and burnt out of health care. On a positive note the PA (Tiffany) and MA (Shawn) were great and stitched my wife up well. Although, I didn't see much hand washing which made me a bit uncomfortable. I can only give a 3 star because of that dark haired lady and the infection control practices. read more
