FYI: In Joshua Tree, not every dirt road on Google Maps is an actual road. Found myself in a sand pit wash while driving around JT with the pups and my fiancé on the 4th of July. 4x4 wasn't working so I tried to dig myself out to no avail. Yucca Valley Towing to the rescue! After a brief call, Kasey was on his way and arrived fast! He was great to talk to and made quick work of hauling us out. Can't thank him enough for coming out on a holiday and saving our butts. Yucca Valley Towing charged a very reasonable rate for the circumstances. I would not hesitate to call them again if I ever find myself in a similar situation. This place is AMAZING! Our car broke down on the side of the road while we are on a road trip. This was obviously frustrating especially for being out of the town. They came quickly (about half hour after I called). The driver (Kassai, sorry if I spelled it wrong. It has been a day to said the least) he went above and beyond than just simply towing our car. He was communicative, letting me know he was on the way and find my exact location (as I mentioned earlier we were from out of the town). He made sure that my parents got into the truck safely before getting my car safely onto the flat bed. He even towed us back to our Airbnb the second he realized the "auto shop" I looked up is way out of the way. He even checked my car for me and gave me some advice when we get to our airbnb and made sure we are all safe and sound before leaving. Obviously I don't wish anyone to have a car issue but if you ever needed a towing service, this is DEFINITELY the place to called. Thank you so much for all of your help. The younger man lead me to my car, reconnected the battery, pulled it forward so I could get into the tailgate, and even helped me unload our belongings into the rental car. While traveling out for a stargazing trip with my young family (and pups), some craters and hills in a desert road got the best of us. We were lucky to get to our off road Air BnB with a functioning car, but these guys were truly a lifesaver. Despite it being a busy weekend, they came out to help and even recommended a good mechanic to take the car to. That mechanic ended up being awesome and getting our car back in working condition in about a day or so. The tow truck operator (Troy, I believe) even let my young son push the levers on the tow truck, which he really delighted in. The day started great with some fun off-roading out at giant rock. That quickly went sideways as we hit a ditch in our truck a little too hard and snapped the knuckle clean off the upper control arm. Managed to limp it back into the shade at the rock and considered our options (or lack thereof) with a panicking wife, freaked out kids and dog in limbo. The first number I called was yucca tow. Kelly picked up and was quick to accommodate us at the rock despite the recent rain and ruts and didn't skip a beat when I asked him if a ride back to Orange County was something they would consider providing. 45 minutes later, Troy picked us and the truck up and we were off. Troy is a class act. Great stories and made the several hour drive home very pleasant. Didn't complain about our dog or our kids. Even made a quick stop for a drink and the kids to use the restroom. Unheard of this day and age. Just a good guy through and through. I can't speak highly enough of this operation. From the moment Kelly first appeared I felt such confidence and relief! He was a calming presence in a frightening and very upsetting situation. We two women, towing a U-Haul trailer, had a front tire blow-out during a flooding storm at Yucca Valley, CA. We were on a curve on a busy highway and it is no understatement that we were scared. Kelly put us right at ease. He took such care of my Pacifica van and U-Haul. Took the time to call around to all tire businesses, late on a Saturday afternoon. He even walked into a tire place and asked the man working there to stay late and check around for me. No tire was available but what an extra step to take for us! Then he towed us to a tire business that would be open on Sunday, parked us under lights so the van and U-Haul would be as secure as possible. His rate for doing all of this was so reasonable I was nothing short of amazed. Bottom line? Don't waste your time dealing with any other business. Me, my wife and three kids were stuck out in the middle of Landers California in the sand in 40° weather last night. I had a really frustrating ordeal with AAA and they wanted me to wait for them for 2 and 1/2 hours in a really sketchy area. I also was racing against the clock to get to the car rental place before they closed. I decided to pay out of pocket & call a local towing company near by where my car broke down. YVT answered immediately, heard the stress in my voice and sent over Dominick in 6 minutes. Dominick was so kind. Told me to get out of harms way and to hop into the cab as he loaded up my car. Also offered me water. He was so punctual. Got my car dropped off at the mechanics and I got to my rental car before they closed. I got my car stuck on a large rock while driving on an unmaintained road in a remote part of Yucca Valley. Luckily I called Yucca Valley towing and they were able to find me and pull my car out safely all within about a half hour of calling them.
