I came in yesterday and the lady was just sitting on the couch on her phone. She seemed annoyed we were bothering her phone time when we entered. The guy that works here is usually pleasant and awesome, so I was taken aback by the attitude. I asked if she had pod meshes because it's one of the stores close by that has it, and she tells me they never have had it before. She points me to the flavors they have on the counter, and it literally says pod mesh on the paper. Clearly she didn't know her products. I point it out, and then request for one of them. She basically mumbled while ringing me up and I didn't know it was discounted because of their promotion for them and was really confused. If she had spoken to me clearly, I would have understood the first time. Me and my cousin were polite the whole time. We both walked out and looked at each other, my cousin exclaiming that she was super rude. I'm not going to revisit this location because her attitude was so uncalled for, despite the cost I got the vape at. If you want loyal customers, be better. Usually people in this community are super chill and welcoming, and this store did not pass the vibe check. read more

So..... I moved out of the area and I come visit every so often. I was there this past weekend thinking that I could do a stop by at my favorite go to spot for all my vaping needs. I arrived Friday evening around 8:20 which is my usual time that I normally drop by just to find out that posted hours had changed. Made a few calls and realized that it's a new girl that works there. This place used to be the business; however, with many of the unforeseen changes I'm starting think they are lacking in the things I used to love about them. Please bring back more knowledgeable people and people who understand the consumer relationships. The saddest part? I had to leave a star just to comment when quite frankly this didn't warrant a star at all. Came in the other night to by a tank and was looking at the mods. After being in the bathroom for 5 minutes, the lady, Kelsy, got an attitude like she wasn't happy to see a paying customer, I was surprised she wàs gone so long. Maybe doing weed instead of working is why she acted the way she did. She then said " I hope your not here to buy a mod cuz we are closing in 3 minutes." Best vape store I've been to. Extremely convenient location with friendly and knowledgeable staff! I always pop in once every couple of weeks and they still remember me! I came in one night because I messed up and threw away a crucial component of my tank. I straight up asked, "what's your best, baddest frickin tank you got?" And they tried their best to make sure I wasn't gonna regret my pricey purchases. Fast forward to a few months afterwards, and yeah, I LOVE my new tank! Extremely thoughtful on their part. I thought about it and decided to give this place 5 stars.You'll understand once you've visited,it's very nice inside, the staff in knowledgeable and the prices are ok I guess. I don't recommend a trip to this place if you are bothered by nicotine and vapor in the air due to multiple people all vaping simultaneously in the same area. It happens sometimes and the air in there can become quite inundated but it's fun. The space is large enough to breath and walk around , view merchandise .. stuff like that. I've spent lots of money in this place partially because I really like flavored nicotine and partially because I really like this place. Here's my only warning. And my warning really has nothing to do with Platinum Vape's it's just that this particular branch is on Cedar Boulevard so most likely you will have to drive on Cedar Boulevard to get there.. if you do (and I don't recommend ever driving on Cedar Boulevard in Fremont) do not take Cedar Boulevard to Mowry Avenue and make a right turn! I have been ticketed at this intersection more times than I can remember ,the last ticket I got here from making a right on red and not making a complete stop cost me over $600. If you're familiar with this intersection then you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.. there are cameras facing every single which way and they will take pictures of you from every different angle and extort you for lots and lots of money . good luck! read more

If I could give a 0 star I would, out of the 6 years I've been vaping. Ive met a lot of owners workers in the Vape industry across the bay along with the juice makers. This is the first time I've ever felt unwelcomed. As my fiancé and I walked in, she asked what she they have in stock that was in the fruity/menthol flavors. Older Woman Worker reply's "you gotta give me more than that" (turns her head looks at me and silently says "Wow") Obviously we want to know what flavor range within the fruit/menthol since we're not regulars in that place. I don't really write reviews but when it's upsetting then people deserve to know what goes on when things like this happens. read more

I had such a bad experience at Art of Vapor in Fremont, that I decided to come here. Came here yesterday because I recently received a vape starter kit and I believed that my coil was burnt on my tank because I only tasted charcoal when inhaling. Anyways, I came here with a buddy and I was looking for a new coil. The Asian lady that helped me was the most friendliest and most helpful person ever. I came in here looking for a new coil, and she told me that they didn't sell the coil here because they don't sell my type of tank there. So she offered me a replacement and she didn't just say "get this one" like what Art of Vapor does. She researched a bit on what tank would be good with my vape because according to her, the KW and voltage and stuff matters. I know nothing about this. But I believe her because she wasn't a dick. She offered me some tank for $45 and I was about to buy it, but she stopped me and gave me other options. She told me that my vape was okay, but she knew it wasn't going to last more than a couple more months because it was an eBay knock off (I told her), and she told gave me an option to save money in the future. The tank she offered me didn't come with an extra coil, and those specific coils were pretty expensive. And since I told her, I don't vape a lot, maybe 2-3 ml of juice a day, because I'm trying to quit smoking, she told me it would be a better option to buy a vape kit (swag kit) for $45 rather than the tank for $45. The kit also comes with an extra coil and a glass tube. She told me that when the coil is done or starting to taste burnt, the coils for these tanks are $5/each and they sell them at almost any vape shop. And I don't go through juice a lot. I still have over half of my juice bottle that I bought last month from Art of Vapor for $36, WHICH I FOUND OUT that it's only $25 here. And they sell 0mg and Art of Vapor told me that it was illegal to sell 0mg. Not going to lie, I was upset about it when I found out that they were telling me lies and their prices were way to high. Anyways, the lady sold me on the vape kit because I did find it more cost efficient and she also threw in a lot of information that we didn't know we needed. She was pretty awesome. And very friendly! She also told me about the deals they have on juices before 4 pm. They go down to $20/each or 2 for $35 before 4 pm. Then they go up $5 after that. My buddy ended up buying the same vape kit as I did and he got the lychee menthol juice which was pretty dope. They have my business and it's on my way home from work. Even though Art of Vapor is only 2 miles from my house, this place is far better in comparison. Even though there were customer walking in, she politely excused herself to help them real quick then came back to giving us more information. Oh and she even went above and beyond and extracted the juice from my old tank and put it in the new one, taught us how to use the vape kit, showed us how to fill it, how to change the coil, change the voltage, and etc. Something Art of Vapor didn't do for me. read more

This is probably one of the nicer shops I have been to, usually when I walk in to another shop I feel as if I dont belong and that I am just an average vaper/noob. When in fact that is not the case. Here at Plat im usually welcomed with open arms. All the workers are very kind and helpful, one in particular stands out over the rest. That would be Jennifer, she helps me out with everything I need whether it be from juice to new mods to new tanks or even just some advice on newer/better devices. Close location next to my friend's who had me test out a vape pen for a few weeks before I decided to get one. It's a bit unassuming from the outside, but you walk in and it's clean and spacious. Went with the basic starter kit to see if I even like this, and went with their Platinum brand. They were very helpful and answered my gajillion questions. For $80 (with tax) I picked up the starter kit that includes a charger, travel case, and an extra wick. I also bought a kanger to refill my vape with the liquid, rather than buying disposables. When they had me test out the different flavors, they were all leaky and sticky. I did find one that I liked right away, and bought one for $12. I did remember the first guy telling me that it was included in the starter kit, but then being told it was not by the other employee, which was a bit of a bummer. An extra wick at $3, or they sell a 5 pack for 50 cents off a wick. Overall, pleased with my purchase, and once I do end up quitting smoking this will be a much cheaper habit to satisfy the urges. read more

Out of the several times I have been, I have had only 1 guy recommend to me stuff. Other times, I have to ask about each thing to get a little info on it. This platinum vape shop became one of my to-go spots and here is the reason why. At first when my friend and I visited the shop to pick up a prince stick, the mod had leaking problems the following day and so we had to go back and forth a few times to resolve the issue. There was this lady whom helped us out for the most part and her name is Jennifer. She was very thoroughly helpful with each and every step of the problem and the results were very satisfactory, she was also very knowledgeable about the product as well, we have actually learned a great deal about vaping in general as well as being able to troubleshoot the mod by ourselves when there was another problem. And another thing which made the whole experience spectacular was Jennifer's choice of recommendations for juice. I usually prefer the creamy flavors and she had recommended one of the BEST flavors I have ever tasted.
