Hats are all dusty and so much oil on them. People openly just try them in with their cakey make up or sweat. Gross

This store sucks! Never buy anything online from them because the return policy is a joke! It takes too long to get a return shipping label and when they send it it's a UPS label that can only be used at the US Post Office. I had to go to UPS Just to print the label, then take it back to the post office to return it, ridiculousness!!! I will never buy anything from this store online ever again!!! read more

Arrived on 3/01/2022 at 5pm. We walked in to no associate in sight. After a few minutes a female associate emerged from the back. She looked us up and down and went about her business. We were not greeted or acknowledged at any point. When we checked out the lack of acknowledgment continued. I understand staffing is limited and I understand minimum wage jobs so I don't expect Nordstrom service. What I do expect is basic respect, even the high school students at McDonald's have better manners. Such a great store due to the young man David he is such an amazing manager very helpful out of all the employees he's was the only person who helped me meanwhile the store manager Karen was just sitting on her phone not caring about other customers as she turned them away . Where is the negative stars button? Went into this store knowing exactly which hat we wanted. Immediately upon stepping one foot in the store a shorter, young girl with dark hair asked if she could help us. I told her what we were looking for and she said she did not have it. She pointed us to a similar hat. She said she could order it online and ship it to me for 5.99. No, I'm not paying for shipping when I'm standing here in the store. She tells us all hats are buy 1 get 1 half off. We settle on another hat, and proceed to the register, shdn she sees us she says "oh that hat is not part of the special.#" of course she doesn't mention, the sale had an exclusion. As she is talking guess what we see on the shelf above the register; the hat we wanted. I say to the girl that is the hat we came here for. She grabbed it, and said I didn't know we had this. We'll unless you have enough intelligence to know every item in the store, do not speak against having something. She begins to ring up the hat and asks if we want embroidery. I ask how much and she says free. I said okay. She asks if I want raised embroidery and I asked if that was an additional charge and she says yes, 5.00 so I declined. She rings up the hat, we pay, then she says "see you at 7:50." What, I say, it is not even 7:15 yet. I cannot believe in ringing up the sale you do not advise the customer the time frame. She then says, "you can come back another day and pick it up. This girl obviously lacks brain cells that she thinks we would do that. Defeats the purpose of buying in store. We leave and come back at 7:50 to see Michael the so called manager who was doing the embroidery walking around the store. We walk up to him and ask about the hat and he acts like he has no idea what we are talking about. After a few minutes he goes and gets the hat. At this point I decide to look at the receipt because I'm so frustrated with their services. I made the mistake of not doing this earlier, because I notice I am charged 11.99 for the embroidery. I tell Michael, I was told it was free, and he starts to laugh and says "we would never give it to you free." I said well she did. He grabs the receipt from my hand and says my employees don't make mistakes like that. I snatched the receipt back from him and walked to the girl at the register. She stood their dumb and looking at him and just said it's not free. I told the self professed manager Michael all the difficulties I had since stepping in the store and he replied with "the only thing I can do is refund the amount of the hat." I left the store an hour later after originally walking in, with no hat. BUYER BEWARE. I wil never shop at a Lids again. I went home and got the same hat on ebay with shipping for less than I would have paid in store. read more
