I bought a police sweater from Galls after it arrived I found out that the department I worked out would provide me with one. I started the procedure to send the sweater back and found out that it was going to cost me $7 dollars and some change to send it back through FedEx. I printed out the return label and sent the sweater back. The sweater initially cost me $83.24 by the time I sent it back to Galls they only refunded me $64.05. They don't refund you initial shipping cost and they subtract the fee to send it back from your purchase price. read more

I'm glad that there is a uniform store for public safety, but this particular store I'm not fond with. It takes 12 to 14 business days just to embroider (thread stitch) a name on a shirt. They ship it out to someone else. They used to do it themselves. Don't come to this store for the embroidery. This is really my only gripe, but this is a big problem for people who need that completed ASAP, especially if the polo shirt is the regular uniform of the day. read more

This place has lost its standards, no greeting when you walk in, two guys at the register watching videos on their cell phone, I was helped by Brittney she was very professional took my uniform and had my patches put on, and answered all my questions, i appreciate her help. I am waiting for my stuff to be done these two clowns at the register are approached by a female customer not eager to help her, the black dude starts farting and laughing about it, I was appalled at this behavior, how unprofessional and disgusting I mean where are the standards and customer service? I've been coming here for a long time. This place use to be Inland Uniforms, but years back it was absorbed by Galls. I cannot convey how many problems I have experienced with Galls over the years. This place takes a long time for turn around and always seems to mess something up. Today was pretty much the final straw for me. I waited nearly an hour to get someone to finally call me up for a fitting. They have a sign-in kiosk which sounds good in theory, but the personnel assigned to retail really only work retail and the employees assigned to fittings and vests are in the back working hard while the waiting list just stacks up. The ladies ahead of me waited for nearly 1 1/2 hours before their names were called. Galls really should figure out another way to distribute resources, because the fitting side of the house could use a hand and gets backed up fast. Sorry Galls, simply NOT a fan of your cumbersome processes and the employees working on the fitting side of the house could really use some additional personnel. On the positive side, once I got called up, Maria did a really good job taking care of me. She's a real professional and Galls is fortunate to have her, that's why I gave a 3 star rating. Otherwise it would have definitely been 1 star. ***update*** I received a call from the manager, Randall who really went above and beyond to work through the ordeal. Sounds like they are working hard to address the issues, so for that, they have my respect. I have unfortunately had to shop with Galls for years and I believe my previous order with them will be my last. Poor customer service both online and in-store. I placed an order months ago, of which I ordered in advance because I was aware custom orders take especially long, which is not a problem. Where the issues arise, is the lack of communication and misinformation I was given in terms of my order. I was provided an initial ship date of which was lengthy, but I accepted because it was an item I needed for work. As time went on and I watched the ship date and order status closely, there was no change other than "out of stock will not ship until in stock". I called multiple times to receive order updates but they were not able to provide any information on which stage of the process my order was in. It got to the point where my ship date was being moved months later. I finally had enough and of course, I would not be able to cancel my order. None of the customer service reps had an explanation as to why my ship date was fluctuating so much. When my item finally did ship and arrive at their location, of course, it was not available for pick up until days later due to them not processing the order upon arrival. I do not plan on shopping with them nor do I recommend them to anyone. read more

Went in last week to get some gear and get a couple shirts done for work. The staff were helpful and friendly. I found exactly what I needed for my gear, so I didn't have to wait for delivery. They told me the shirts would be ready the following week. I called the following week and they told me it would be another week before I got them. I asked if they could try to put a rush on the order because I needed them for work two days later. Later that same day they let me know my shirts were ready. Now that's customer service. My husband is in this store all the time, usually the customer service is alright because he always knows what he needs. This last time he went in the service was HORRIBLE! All he needed was a receipt reprinted. When he had called before he went down there the girl he spoke with told him it wouldn't be a problem and they could get it for him right away. When he got down there and asked Rodney for it he kept telling him that he couldn't get it for him and that there was something wrong with my husbands account and he couldn't find it. Every time he asked Rodney a question the answer was no. He did not even make an effort to get up off his butt and attempt to help him out. After my husband left he called to try and talk to someone (because Rodney told him there was nobody there at the store that he could talk to while he was there other than Rodney himself), Rodney kept him on hold for and hour and then ended up hanging up on him. My husband ended up having to call the corporate office to get help and to lodge a formal complaint. Isn't it funny how in 15 minutes he had someone from the store calling him back telling him they could email the receipt over to him right away?! My husband's company had a corporate account with Galls and not only is he in there all the time getting uniforms for his employees, but so are the other 6 locations. My husband is now in talks with his company to pull the account and take their business elsewhere all because of Rodney's nasty attitude. Rodney is rude and lazy and is giving Galls a bad reputation. Word of mouth spreads like wildfire, unfortunately for Galls there are a lot of people that work for my husband's company who have also had had experiences with Rodney and it seems like the fire is spreading very fast. Hopefully Galls does something quick to put the fire out, otherwise they are going to lose a lot of business thanks to their stellar employee. read more

Do not use this store if you need anything in a timely manner. You may end up waiting two months or more for something another retailer can get you in 48 hours. When you ask questions about the status of the order, the overwhelmed/ overweight girl at the pickup counter loves to spout rude inconsiderate remarks as to how you should just keep waiting. I have never once had a decent experience going to this store. If you have another option, save yourself the headache. Falls doesn't value their customers or have a concept of customer service. Their staff is lazy and unwilling to help. I have had to pay more than what some of the uniforms are worth in getting them fixed and tailored after some of the terrible jobs I've seen them do. If you are shopping here, chances are you have to purchase items to take to a stressful job. Please, for your own sanity chose another uniform shop. Shopping at Galls will only raise your blood pressure and stress levels. Also be prepared to have to take your in your uniforms a few times because it is rare that they get the tailoring and seamstress work done right the first time. Their manager will apologize and offer to make things right but when you try talking to him and taking him up on his claim be prepared for him to contact your employer and say that you are "causing problems and being difficult." The manager loves to retaliate against anyone that disapproves of his poor business practices, so if you have no choice but to deal with them tread lightly or pay the extra to go elsewhere. I speak from experience when I say your reputation is worth more than some free uniforms, because this manager will not hesitate to trash talk you to any of your co-workers or supervisors that come into the store. read more

I was so sad to see that Andrea, the previous store manager was no longer here! I made a visit recently to have patches installed and the employee, Andreas (that I keep seeing mentioned on here,l lol) helped me take the order. Andreas assisted me and took the order for processing and was able to get me through the process. It was odd that Galls only let's you wait for two shirts, but not his fault. Andreas was just doing his job. For those who miss Andrea, the former manager, I just saw her at Keystone Uniform literally 3 minutes away from this location! I'm giving Galls 3 stars because it's become a faceless corporation. I miss the personalized service from the companies they bought out. Those who cherish personalized service need to come visit Andrea at Keystone Uniform. I will be bringing my business there from now on and telling all my friends. read more

I love this place. Obviously that's a weird thing to say about a uniform place, but I'm a little extra. It started when I bought some 5.11 pants online, they came unhemmed. I took my pants in and they took my measurements and I got two of the pants done that day and two the following day. Once I got them back I noticed two pairs were cut too short, noticeably short. Without question they replaced the pair and cut those to the correct length. I'm a larger gentleman so finding pants and shirts that fit is exciting. Finding a place that takes the extra step in customer service is like going back in time. Recently I bought some more pants that needed hemming. I waited for half an hour one day before I left impatiently. The next day I returned and again, another wait. I thought to myself this can't be right. So I asked about making an appointment. The gentleman behind the counter could sense my frustration and asked how he could help. So I explained I wasn't willing to wait up to an hour to hand over pants they already had measurements for. He stated that 3,000 service men and women had been issued new gear and they were experiencing higher than normal volume. At which time he pulled up my previous orders, found my measurements and placed the order for me and had my pants done in 25 minutes. Galls, is far and away, the best customer service I've had buying clothes or anything else for that matter. Very poor customer service. I needed a flashlight holder with a silver snap, it wasn't in stock so it had to be ordered. 10 days later, I was notified it was in and I went to pick it up. Gold snap, they reordered the holder. Eight days later I was told my order was in. No snap on this holder, I just took it I knew they were never going to get it right. Extremely frustrating! I placed my order with a department PO on June 28 for two shirts and a pair of pants. I needed the shirts for an assignment that I am to start at the beginning of September. I received an email on July 12th that my order was ready. I drive down there and only one shirt is done. So I call two weeks later and they say my other shirt and pants are stuck at another store. I call today August 17th and they said my shirt is not done but the pants are. I told them how frustrated I was because now I only have one shirt to last me four days a week! This place is the best. Best customer service. I never bought a pair of boots until now (early 30's), and Rodney was great. Let me try them on, gave me some tips, had a little play area for the kids. Fast and easy check out great staff. Every one and everything was well maintained. You could tell staff was staying busy and working, it's nice to see that. The boots didn't fit the first time and I was able to exchange them quick and easy. I even left something valuable to me in the box and they called me to give it back. This is a great staff and great place to shop. I'll definitely be going back to get my next pair of boots and maybe a jacket. I called to tell the manager, which I never ever do, but he asked if I could do this. I hope they get recognition that they all deserve. Employees seemed to be walking around, bsing and chit chatting while people waited forever. The only reason I would come back again is because my organization has an account with them. I attempted to order a new uniform over the phone and was told that the employee who handles that was not in, but that they would take my phone # and get back to me. They never did. I therefore drove to the store and made the order in person, only to be told that they'd have to order the 36, 34 pants. Alright, not a problem. I receive two texts three weeks later notifying me that my 2 items are ready, only to find out at the store that they ordered 34, 36 pants - which they had in stock on my first trip. I can understand that the demand for services exceeds the supply of services and this is a vendor's market, but do your employees have no sense of professional pride/work ethic? Regardless of your opinion of first responders, it doesn't take a significant amount of effort to not be that incompetent. You obviously dislike customers literally phoning it in, so perhaps you could abstain from figuratively phoning it in? read more

Galls is a large store with tons of potential but seems to fall short more often than not for one reason or another. I first came here for my academy uniforms a few years back. Of course, there was something wrong with my shirts. The name tape on some were poorly stitched on and the screen print on the PT shirts were off centered. I understand that the uniform stores out in this area are always backed up, but why put out poor quality if it's just going to get returned anyways? Finally, the customer service flat out sucks. I've only dealt with one or two employees who have been super nice and helpful, but everyone else just seem over worked and annoyed with customers. I hope they get some extra help or fix whatever internal issues they may have because I really want to like Galls. read more

With that being said it's the worst in the area, poor service long waiting line no where to sit and pick up is 5-10 days,don't try calling hold wait is 10-20 minutes! I would give them zero stars if I could. Horrible customer service. Stole money from me. I purchased boots. They charged my card for the full price. They were on back order. So I found the boots elsewhere. Called them and told them I wanted to cancel the boot order since they still hadn't shipped. I was told to wait a couple weeks for the refund. Never got a refund. Called again to make sure they actually cancelled the refund... spoke with corporate who said the initial charge should have only been an authorization, well it wasn't, and they said I need to resolve the issue with my bank. My bank, after months, was unfortunately not able to resolve the issue. Don't know how you are still in business. Will never use you again or recommend you. Plus they take forever to get anything done/ right. read more

Maybe we got lucky, but my boyfriend and I went in today to order his EMT uniform and we were surprised because our experience was quite different from that of the Yelp reviews. We were helped by a young lady, Guadalupe, as well as another man in the front. She was very helpful in getting everything in order, and we received a 10% off of his boots. She told us his uniform would be ready within 2 weeks. I will update this review then if everything goes by smoothly. But so far we are impressed.
