We called and spoke with Leslie, the alleged manager, and instead of apologizing, she argued that "the kitchen doesn't carry onions" and that "our chefs don't have hair," which honestly made the situation even more ridiculous. Her solution was basically "you can order something else", which after this experience, we absolutely would never do.
