My house is very difficult. It has 9 corners and too many restrictions. A real test for architector or a desiner! I was lucky to find Gary. He took my existing drawing and with passion to the beauty and with knowledge to the structure he fixed the exterior of the house. He was working as an artist- very easy, somewhat mindfully, totally submerged into the work. The outcome was - what I was looking for! Beautiful design, expensive looking but less expensive to build. I copy each and every element and I am building as he draw. Later on he also helped me with foyer and other tricky interior elements. I have to say it is great work as well. Just beautiful. That was best money spend and best experience. If I had to build another house I would hire him to do the whole project. It would make the project flawless, save time, money and struggle.

In the end, we decided to put off this large and costly project until our living/construction plans were clearer. We were told, word of mouth, that Mr. David Sutton is an experienced and accomplished architect. That was certainly true. He kindly gave us almost an hour of his time, and he discussed cost- saving possibilities to expand our existing living space. Thus, we felt we better "sleep on it." I appreciate meeting him and his input. His office is on the second floor of the D'Aviolo restaurant on Main Street in the village of Williamsville. Eclectic office space, befitting for an architecture firm.

Sutton Architecture is a company I would stay away from at any and all costs. David Sutton is…read moreinterested in buying a decommissioned school in my neighborhood. He asked that the neighborhood be rezoned to fulfill his wants for his project. Unfortunately our city officials listened to him and changed the zoning codes for David. This project brings several multi family units into a single family home neighborhood. David knew this when he designed the program but presented this plan anyway without any thought for the people living in that area. While presenting his project he maintained a dismissive, arrogant posture. When confronted with valid logistical and personal concerns of those at his presentation, he would simply and cockily respond, "understood." When asked why he wouldn't design single family homes his response was' "Its not cost feasible." There are 2 problems with that response. One is that he does not care about the people in the city. All he is concerned about is making money. He doesn't care for the seniors and families who bought their homes thinking it was in a nice quiet neighborhood. Secondly, this shows that he is extremely limited in his abilities. I find it hard to believe that he couldn't devise a single family home plan that is cost feasible. I don't know anyone who should use this company knowing that they do not have the sense to make a project where everyone involved wins. David's indifference to the good of the people speaks to his character and motivations. I wouldn't have Sutton Architecture design a birdhouse for me...and neither should you.

For historical properties, he has the appropriate resources and will make outside referrals and investigations, as necessary. In addition to being an architect, Kevin is a structural engineer, so you end up getting a two-fer!
