If you want someone to show up 30 min early, then make the appointment 30 min earlier. Fix your scheduling department. However, I had filled out all the paperwork online, like a good little patient, then there's no reason to show up 30 minutes early. I don't need 30 minutes to put on a gown. Next Carla the technician should be fired immediately! She stated that since I did not show up 30 minutes early that she didn't have the time to do all four MRI's. I showed up on time for my scheduled appointment. Then they kept me in the waiting room for 20 minutes. Then another 10 minutes to change and wait in the changing area to be told I was late and they didn't have the time to do all my scheduled MRI's. It sounds like Carla has a time management problem, not me. Why didn't you get me back there as soon as I walked in and not keep me waiting for 30 minutes. Carla has to be one of the rudest and egotistical technicians I've ever met. I was on time, you don't know how to manage your time. So now, if I expect to get the MRI on my left shoulder, which she refused to do, I will have to pay another copay of $100 just for that and make another appointment somewhere because I will never go anywhere where she is working. SMIL and Honor Health needs to do better. Remember that your main concern are your patients and not your employees attitudes.

They are both fantastic doctors with exceptional skills and bedside manner. Dr Ogrich is an excellent surgeon with a gentle hand. She delivers incredible results. She repaired a previous car accident repair on my face and I never thought it would ever heal but it did and you can't even tell it was ever an issue. It is amazing. Truly. Then, she removed an unusual skin tumor and once again the results are exceptional. With the addition of Dr Latowsky's laser treatments, this entire year of medical issues is becoming a distant memory. I am so lucky to have these exceptional doctors in my life and on my team and couldn't recommend them more.

Dr. Thosani is not only beautiful on the outside, but even more so on the inside. She has an incredible bedside manner, takes her time to thoroughly explain everything, and makes sure you understand the "why" behind the treatment plan. I was especially impressed when I needed staples in my head. I was hesitant at first, but she carefully explained why staples would be better than stitches in my case. She even drew out a diagram to show how staples would allow for better healing and hair growth compared to sutures. That level of care and attention truly went above and beyond. Everyone in the office was so kind and welcoming. The entire staff made me feel comfortable from start to finish. Her medical assistant, Gio, was absolutely fabulous as well. Dr. Thosani is knowledgeable, skilled, serious when she needs to be, yet warm and even funny -- she made the entire experience much easier than I expected. My first impression is that Modern Dermatology does not trust that I will come to my appointments. Here is part of their no show policy. I was left with hypopigmentation on my cheeks and scarring on my chin and nose. I found Dr. Lal through a recommendation, and he has been the one guiding me through the remediation and healing process. He travels often for speaking engagements and he sees a lot of patients, so there can be a wait, but he is absolutely worth it. He knows exactly what he's doing, explains everything clearly, and will never recommend anything harmful or unnecessary. You can tell he genuinely has your best interest in mind. On top of that, he's funny, personable, and just has a great heart. They have billed my insurance and i have self paid without issue. I do book in advance because i want to keep things on schedule. On a rare occasion they have had to reschedule they have made every effort to accommodate. I rarely wait long to be seen but when there is a delay i don't mind. He is incredibly busy and takes such good care of me and my skin. Its because when he sees a patient he is 100% present and sometimes things take longer than expected. The staff is amazing mianni and yossana are the best medical assistants I have ever met in my entire life and I'm not exaggerating. I've gone to Morgan for injectable's and would highly recommend her. They are definitely the assets. The front desk people are really friendly and do a great job accommodating all the requests. I see Nikki the most and her efficiency - I'm sure its not easy being the main point of contact at such a busy practice but they do a great job The lobby is pleasant and parking is easy. I take the stairs but there is an elevate if mobility is a challenge. I first met with Mr. Lal for a vitiligo study back in 2023. My first visit was an absolute disorganized mess. I reported to the address I was given, but the receptionist had no idea who I was, who Mr. Lal was, or even vaguely familiar of a vitiligo study that was literally happening in that office. It turns out Mr. Lal was using a back room of affiliated dermatology to conduct this study. I assume he did not have permission. I worked primarily with his two medical assistance, who likely never attended medical school, as they were also the most disorganized "medical professionals" I have ever encountered. Mr. Lal was late to every one of my visits, which were at least weekly, sometimes more frequent. I waited for up to an hour at times, at his mercy, and he never made an apology once. Part of the study required using the Excimer laser to burn off layers of skin in the affected areas. It was obvious Mr. Lal had never used an Eximer before. He literally caused the third-degree burns on my hands. I have had previous experience with the laser, and in trained hands, it is not as destructive as it was in Mr. Lal's hands. I did not complete the study. I drove over two hours every week to be treated by imbeciles who had no business involving themselves in such a complex study. I bailed before the study was complete. I hope it caused a financial loss for Mr. Lal, as he deserves nothing for his incompetence.
