I will not go to Banner Imaging PV for my mammogram again. Yes they provided great service during my mammo. I had no choice but to leave SMIL but Banner can't bill! My service date was two months ago and my insurance processed the claim and paid a month ago! Yet after multiple calls, Central Billing can't make the adjustment per the EOB and send me my bill. Ridiculous and incompetent! I have asked to talk to management and twice escalated issue. UHC even called. I'll go try SimonMed next year. read more

On this Valentines Day morning visit; The front desk ladies Abril?, and Denise were absolutely awful. They greeted me and the person behind me with condescension and seem very aggrevated for some reason. I tried to "Kill them with Kindness" but that doesnt always seem to work. I didnt have my new insurance card yet because it was still in the mail, and was explaining that I went in 30 min early to sort it out. After they callously dismissed my friend to wait outside, I was told I could call my insurance to get the info, when she was able to look it up right there. Awful. Seriously. I am so very happy I found this place - first of all, I read that it was cheaper to find a radiologist outside of a hospital so I found this place on yelp. I came and the service here is remarkable. Everyone except the front desk was sooooo friendly. It felt like a breeze getting MRIs even though they are really a big pain in the butt to do. I got my bill and I didn't expect it to be cheap but it definitely was cheaper than the bills I get when I get MRIs at the hospital and if you pay full price, you get a discount!! Score!!! I definitely definitely definitely recommend this place if you need a radiologist! read more

What a bunch of bumbling idiots... I HAVE NEVER FELT THIS MUCH HOSTILITY TOWARDS AN ENTIRE MEDICAL FACILITY! EVER! LET ME ADD THIS FACILITY IS now I called earlier today to schedule a stat CT appointment. (I've had one previous scheduling issue over the past several years.) The representative that took my initial and scheduled my appointment (Lissandra) was incredibly nice on the phone. However, unbeknownst to me she wasn't scheduling my appointment for the correct day. Per the facility staff, Lissandra scheduled the appointment yesterday... meaning she took the call today and filled YESTERDAY'S open appointment slot/time. Upon arrival at the imaging facility, Jessica informed me about the scheduling. I calmly explained how I had contacted BANNER earlier in the day for a same day appointment. I asked her to check the file notes. Another BI individual helped her search the file. She was able to see what I had explained. Before all that had been settled, I was being told I'd have to wait over 1 1/2 hours if the CT needed to be completed because there was already a mix up and that's what was available. (And while overall her voice was even keeled, Abe began to display signs of frustration with my questions.) Initially, I did not want to wait. BTW we discussed rescheduling, it was going to be a 50 minute wait. We stayed. The misinformation continued when Veronica advised me of no food or water for this exam. (Uhhhhh- WRONG!) I explained that's never been the case before. Apparently, she was referencing a previous referral. WTF! (I had provided all the info needed to Lissandra.) With my patience clearly wearing thin, I was called back up to the counter for the 4th-5th time. This time in signatures on additional documents because no pre-auth was received. I was "advised" if the document wasn't signed, they could refuse to do the CT. (50-55 minutes in) In the end, I signed the document. I couldn't handle any more BS and this exam was urgent. In order to post a review, I must give these jokers at least one star OR I would've taken away every star they'd ever earned. I'm the future, ER here we come. read more

Everyone that I had contact with was great!! I had 4 different techs, 2 mammogram and 2 ultrasound ladies...they were all fantastic!! Made me feel at ease. I won't use any other place for the next one I'll need done. read more

Terrible service. Staff repeatedly tried to get me to pay for tests my doc did not order. I asked for a price quote for self-pay. Paid agreed upon amount at time of service only to receive an invoice for more money two weeks later. When I questioned the bill I was begrudgingly given credit. I can only assume that if they try to exploit a self-pay customer for every penny they can get, they do the same when insurance is paying. It's because of providers like Valley Radiology that we all pay so much for healthcare. read more

Well as most people know I am not a real fan of doctors.....and especially don't like going to other facilities for additional tests. However on Thursday (Dec 5th) I paid a visit to this location because I needed X-Rays for my foot. When I walked in I was greeted by perhaps the most professional and delightful receptionist I have ever met. The young lady's name was Tiffany and she got me squared away before I even knew what was happening. I was in and out of the establishment in less than 25 minutes.....so Tiffany please keep up the good work.....and if any of you reading this ever need quality service along with QUALITY customer care......please visit this locale. This is the place to go for your imaging needs. Scheduling very easy. I had an order from an urgent care doctor and they were able to get me in same day. Friendly staff put me at ease (I was a little nervous). My appt was at 830a. I was told to show up 15-20 min early for paperwork. I show up at 8:07a. Complete paperwork. Get called back for procedure at 8:25a. Done and on the road by 8:45a. Radiologist transcribed report and sent over to my doc w/ in 3 hours! :) read more

Andrew did my 2 year old daughters X-ray. He was unbelievably patient and kind. He was understanding of her temperament and took time to help her stay calm and relaxed to avoid a meltdown, while getting everything done in a very fast but efficient manner. I'm writing this purely because Amanda has been incredibly helpful and accommodating helping me with my difficult situation. Promised to call back within a few hours and did with helpful answers. I had previously spoken with someone who promised to call back the next day and didn't so two days later I dealt with Amanda who was obviously the problem solver and fantastic. read more

Fantastic staff and experience. Was in and out in less than an hour for two tests. Doctor gives results to you immediately.

This place has the worst people in their billing department. Went there for a workman comp case. Gave them the information when I got there for the appointment. This included the name of the workers comp insurance company, the case id number, telephone number of the adjuster. Received a call asking again for that information a couple of weeks later and gave it to them again. They then called a third time wanting it again. The people are incompetent. Left it on their answering machine/service again. They then called a 4th time and they said they needed it again or they were going to refer it to collections. How incompetent do you have to be and still keep your job. I will never step foot in this place again. Working in the area if someone asks where to go will tell them anywhere but there. A lawyer said I should refer them to the Attorney Generals Office. read more

So, Valley Radiology is "part" of Southwest Diagnostic Imaging. If you have the option - and you usually do - go someplace else for your imaging needs. My personal experience involved a copay of $150 and the "fact" that a non-contrast CT scan is classified by my insurance company as a "major diagnostic." (What a joke but that's not the issue - it is - but not part of this review.) My insurance required prior approval for this "major diagnostic" event. Valley Radiology got that approval and was informed of the coverage and copay. At time of service, Valley Radiology knew the exact amount of the copay but did not inform me. I assumed no copay because, in my mind, this is only a step up from an x-ray which I already had from Valley Radiology. Several months later, I get a bill for $150. My issue is if I had been informed by Valley Radiology of the amount of the copay at the time of service, I would have declined the service - I already had an x-ray and the recommendation for the no-contract CT scan came from Valley Radiology and weakly my internist. I called Southwest Diagnostic Imaging - handles the billing stuff for Valley Radiology - and after several left messages someone finally got back to me and basically said too bad. They knew the amount of the copay and should have tried to collect it at time of service - very common practice - but I suspect they knew if they had informed me, as they should have, I would have declined service. So, be aware of all of this and seriously consider another provider. I do have to said the rest of the service provided by Valley Radiology was acceptable. read more

1-11-18 Teresa W. Terrible service. I arrived a 10:00 am for my 10:30 am appointment. Greeted right away and got registered. There were approximately 4 patients already waiting in area where I was told to wait to be called. 1 patient appointment was at I believe 11:45 am, and tech told her she was real early but if she waited would work her in. She was called before me and everyone else. As time went on everyone white female or male that came in and seated on this side was seen before me an Afro American. I then asked if my chart had been misplaced, clerk said she would check, showed me to washroom. Upon my return stated it would be about 5 more minutes. It's a good thing no one else registered for that side. Open and blatant prejudice. read more

So far so good. Nice receptionist on my first visit here. I walked in without an appointment and they were able to fit me in. I did have to wait some time, but it was nice not to have to drive back to that part of town again for an appointment on another day. read more

I found the staff and medical assistants, along with the doctor I saw, to be wonderful, caring people; however, they promised me results of my breast cancer biopsy the next day between 2 and 5 PM, so I waited, and waited, and by 7:30 that evening, decided I would not hear back from them. My Primary Care Doc finally called me the next morning to give me the results. I was happy with the staff but extremely disappointed in their lack of promised communication about test results. read more

I went to this location specifically because they had availability quicker than all other locations, and I'm so glad I did. This office was quick, efficient and extremely courteous. My 10 year old daughter needed an ultrasound and Heather was the technician that helped us. She was wonderful! She made my daughter feel as relaxed as could be and was so kind. After the ultrasound, it took about 5-10 min and the radiologist Dr Gunnala came in to go over results. She was kind as well and took a few minutes to explain the results. I was so grateful we were told results on the spot and didn't have to go a few days of needless worrying. I highly recommend this facility! read more

This was my third visit to this office and by far the worst. I understand that it is a busy office. I arrived 20 minutes before my scheduled 2:00 pm appointment on a Friday afternoon. There was no one waiting on the right side of the office to be seen but two people waiting for other clients. 2 patients that arrived after me were called in and came out. A few more patients came out. After waiting 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment I finally went up to the reception desk to see if there was a problem and was told that they were busy even though there was only me in the waiting area. Surprise, surprise, as soon as a call was made to the back I was ushered in at 2:50. The Tech and the Doctor were nice but I could tell it was because I had been kept waiting. The procedures were fine. It was the lack of customer service, office communication and office management that has made me rethink about coming back or recommending this office. I will definitely let my insurance company know not to recommend this office. read more
