She is getting eight hours of care a day, seven days per week! Every day is excellent. They are always on time. I mean always!! My sister is so happy when I call her. She receives three home cooked meals a day and she loves each meal, believe me. Home Care Assistance is so helpful with bathing, hygiene, safely walking in the home and meal preparation. They get her groceries and medications at the pharmacy too. I do not have to worry about my sister's care anymore. She fully did not safely put my mom in the car before she pulled her safety walker away in the trunk to turn around and let my mom fall under her car in the garage on hard concrete. She suffered from an open fracture in her ankle that was nearly twisted off her body along with a fractured femur, all of this leading up to a slow and extremely painful passing on hospice. I loose my mother but Chaimer still has a job just because she wanted to get in the car 30 minutes faster. Absolutely unacceptable. Disgusting this agency has unprofessional overpriced caregivers that only care about your money and not your precious priceless loved one. They said 6-9 months, and my sister waited over a year, and deteriorated so quickly that she became a danger to herself and the apartment building she lived in. Darlne was of no help; they just kept saying they were working on things. This is a scam, and it's likely that they are receiving money from the state, which is also a scam. Please don't use them, don't put your family on their waitlist. It doesn't work. We had to move my sister to another state. They give false hope. To this day, 14 months later we've never heard from them!

I felt Gina and her husband were very concerned, caring, and did a good job of balancing what my mother wanted with what the family wanted, and they always made sure that all protocols were followed. I felt especially grateful for my mothers primary caregiver, she really did her best for my mother, and sometimes there were lots of changes of mind that she handled very well. I was especially grateful for the personal connection this caregiver had with my mom. She could get a laugh from her when nobody else could. I was very appreciative of that. This is a very hard time in the life of every family, and the work done at Divine Comfort Care is so important. I am glad Gina and her staff are there to provide the services needed. If you need to make that decision to have a loved one be cared for outside of the home, I would recommend you take the time to meet with Gina and the staff, I believe you will see the caring and experienced way they can be of help to your loved one too.
