I knew my mom needed more care than I was able to provide after her hospital stay, but had no idea where to look or what type of care was even available. Kelly was amazing! My mom is 96 and we just loss my dad that was going to be 96. The loss has been a very difficult one for all of us. My mom has been talking about maybe going into a private home, so I got Kelly's name from my girl friend that raved about her and her efforts to help her place her mother in a care home. We were not disappointed at all.... she spent time taking us and showed us two home to get an idea of what style my mom would be comfortable with. Kelley is amazing! She gave us a list of potential Memory Care homes. She then made appointments with each site for us. We carefully assessed each place. We fell in love immediately with one service provider. I had decided 5 years ago that I would never place my relative in a 'home.' But, circumstances changed, and placement was medically necessary. Kelley was insightful and empathetic. She was also quick, which is a very important asset when one suddenly learns that insurance has stopped for the rehab facility. We were given only 3 days notice that the insurance company had determined our rehab stay was 'over!' Five stars for Kelley!! I was navigating getting my dad's health situation figured out, his housing, and his insurance all while trying to keep my job going and manage my mom's worry about it all not to mention my dad's. Todd Goodman with First Choice Senior Placement was literally a God-send to our family! We have a sweet brother Craig, who recently retired and is 63 years old. He lived by himself and was getting quite bored and lonely. He is still so young but not able to work at the same capacity any longer.
