Then I looked up FL Air Flow Heating & Air and called them. An employee answered, followed up by text for my information and had someone at my house 4 hrs later. The team were polite, quickly applied pressure to push out the clog, and were gone in a matter of 15min or so. Price seemed fair for emergency service. I still haven't heard back from Jenkins, so I think I found my new provider.

The technician and his manager worked on coming up with a solution to what seemed to be a drainage pipe that had come apart in the AC closet. Due to lack of workable space, they recommended a new condensation pipe be run. This would have been quite costly even with a discount. I was able to figure out another way to access the pipe that had disconnected. Another technician came out and was able to replace the pvc pipe and secure it to the drainage. Sean Smith is the technician and he was very professional, polite and accommodating. He contacted his boss and they were able to fix everything and perform the maintenance work. I was very pleased that Del- Air was willing to work with me and that I didn't have to pay for a costly repair.

I called last night about what I thought was a leaking pipe leading to our AC and heating systems. I called after hours, I was going to schedule an emergency visit. The tech who called back was able to explain to me that the issue had nothing to do with our AC and heating, instructed us to turn off the valves to our irrigation system and that did the trick. They had nothing to gain from these instructions, they're taxed right now with multiple calls due to weather and they took the time to give us peace of mind when they didn't need to do that. I truly cherish having them as our provider. They partner with us, truly care and provide great value while doing it. I highly recommend them to be your provider for all of your AC and heating needs.

Things got started on the wrong foot when I was describing my problem on the phone to Davis Taylor and he asked what brand of unit I had and when I told him it was a Gree, he told me it was a piece of shit. Now, if he thinks it's a piece of shit, fine. But it would make more sense to me if he kept that to himself. Not everyone wants or has the ability to buy top of the line stuff. It went pretty steadily downhill from there. Without anyone coming to the house yet, and adding in the surge suppressor he recommended , he gave me a price of $780 and seemed to think that I should be happy with such a great price. That seemed like a lot to me but I wanted my air fixed so decided to go ahead with it, hoping it would turn out to be a more minor fix than he was thinking. The technician that came out ( and I did appreciate the same day service ) was great! Jared was super nice and seemed very experienced. He pretty quickly determined what the problem was, which sadly was the main circuit board, the worst case scenario. We agreed that I would pay $180 that day and he would order the board and a surge suppressor for a total of $780. Ouch, but ok, I agreed and wrote him a check. Minutes after he leaves, David texts me to let me know that he has ordered the circuit board and will let me know when it arrives next week. About a minute after that he texts me to say he cancelled the order. When I asked why, he explained that it was because I did not pay the $780 up front and something about he has to send in warranty circuit boards for reimbursement which takes 8-10 weeks. I was not asked to pay the whole thing when Jarred was here and now, if I pay by credit card I have to pay an additional 3.5%. Anyway, enough with the minutia, it boils down to from the minute he called my unit a piece of shit throughout the rest of our conversation (mostly text) I felt like I was being treated unfairly, like he was gouging me at every opportunity. I told him that I had my own service business for years and I could not sleep at night if I treated my customers the way he was treating me. Really not looking out for his customers, just chasing every dime he can get. By the way, I did not get reasonable prices or personalized services AND there is no technician living in White Springs. False advertising for sure.
