Not sure why this location has so few stars because the staff is so friendly. They have a very efficient registration procedure. You email your insurance and ID to them, and boom. You're booked. They also are accurate with wait time quotes. You don't need an appointment, but it's best you call ahead so you can know how long your wait may be and then the actually call you when it's your turn. They have RAPID testing AND PCR. Their tests are more accurate than a drive-thru testing place. Physicians are very well informed and are able to answer any question you have. Front desk also very informative and helpful. Overall, great clinic! read more

I had an overall okay experience at Lifesavers Emergency Room in The Heights, but there were a few concerns worth mentioning. The biggest issue for me was the lack of upfront transparency regarding costs. I came in assuming my visit would be covered by insurance, and at no point before treatment was I clearly informed of what I would be responsible for. I completed all the paperwork and followed their process, only to be presented with a bill at checkout. It would have been much more appropriate to discuss costs before the visit began, as is typically expected in most medical settings. As for the staff, my experience was mixed. One of the physicians seemed attentive and genuinely concerned, while the other came across as dismissive and left abruptly. A staff member in blue scrubs (possibly a nursing assistant) was professional, kind, and made a positive impression. On the other hand, the nurse in black scrubs appeared rushed and less engaged in patient care. What stood out as particularly concerning was being asked during my visit to leave a five-star review in exchange for a gift card. I declined, and this review reflects my honest experience. Patients should never feel pressured or incentivized when it comes to leaving feedback. My son and I got injured in a head on collision. We were ok nothing broken or bleeding. But internally, we're still recovering 8 months later. A lawyer popped up on the scene and I decided to hire her firm and she sent me to this so called Emergency Room the next day. They didn't fully examine us AT ALL!!! We got No X-rays, no MRI, No pain medication period! No home techniques to help elevate the pain at home. They didn't even perform a full exam on us. I fired that firm a month later and went with Bush and Bush and today was given this diabolical itemized list of my expenses and this SLEAZY UNDERHANDED "HOSPITAL" if you want to call it that, is claiming we owe them each almost 8,000.00!!!! I think not!!! I wouldn't sign a bill this preposterous, even if it made me an instant millionaire. This is ROBBERY AT ITS FINEST!! The facility was very clean, and the team was efficient in getting me in and out. Had to come here because I got injured playing soccer. This place does CT scans, which is what I needed cause I heard my knee pop. Thank you for being helpful, caring and supporting. The check in process was seamless, and getting a CT scan was quick and efficient. Employees were kind and funny which made the situation easier. The wait time was reasonable. The only thing we truly waited for was the CT results. I was able to get a wrap, crutches and prescriptions for pain meds. Process was great. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would! I had the absolute worst experience at this emergency room. I walked in at approximately 4:30am in so much abdominal pain, heart racing, jittery, etc. just overall not feeling well. I scanned the QR code, filled out the forms as fast as I could so I could be taken back immediately. I sat there and cried because after 15minutes of waiting no one ever came. I asked the girl at the front can you please see how much longer it'll be? She responded, "they'll come get you when they're ready for you". Mind you, there was NO one else there. After 30 minutes of waiting I finally was brought back to the room. As the nurse was taking my vitals the doctor walked in the room, leaned over the bed and said, "What's wrong with you?" As I sat there in tears and told her, she said, "she'd be right back". As another 15minutes go by, I hear lots of talking going on outside the door, so I just decided to get up and leave. I will never let a facility treat me as if I'm not a valued patient especially in a serious time of need. Please do not go here if you're in any kind of an emergency. read more

Arrived at 6am to do a Covid test. Location promotes on light sign that it's 24/7 and rapid test take 10mins. I was greeted and told Covid it's only done from 7-3, waiting an hour and went back in. I was asked to email my insurance card and DL. We were asked to wait in car and to fill out application that consist of @5 pages that was emailed. After that it was a 2 hour wait and still have not been seen. Left with out being helped and will not recommend this location, their advertising was not quite clear on wait time and details. read more

I came in for an accident and the staff was very friendly and helped me with all of my procedures. Dr. Ola was extremely kind. As a Nigerian woman and I related well because he gave me good advice and information on how to take care of my head injury. I went for a Covid test - the main doctor was great. The nurse who tried drawing blood (who swore he was good and trained people for this very thing) took 3 tries. I specified I needed a smaller needle due to my veins - he said I was fine. Blew my vein. Second needle was literally faulty (had no "hole"). Found out after he stuck me. I could tell the third time he was nervous. It was a lot. Billed me. Now paying said bill - staff up front is fantastic. No complaints there. It's the PAYMENT that's difficult. There's an online payment portal - doesn't work. Don't try to call b/c the 3rd party phone company will pass you around. Hasn't worked for at least 3 months. Then they recommend emailing a lady who NEVER answers. Multiple requests zero replies. They demand you pay them but making it nearly impossible for you do it in a easy manner. Update 10/5/23: I went into the ER to pay - due to new system they couldn't find me to let me pay my bill - by invoice, birth date or account number. So she gave the third party number. Called they couldn't take payment over the phone - his records were an absolute mess. So he recommended me back to an email. In which they referred me back to one of the ER managers - whole thing is a nightmare. Update 10/6/23: still have yet to be helped. Emails are answered but nothing has been resolved. Lack of communication between third party providers, and ER Management so it falls on behalf of the patient. Update: 11/1/23: Still no definitive answer. Was told there would be follow up by management which has yet to happen. read more

They have fixed their CPR class issues by providing the card after class. Jackie, the medical assistant manager, greeted us and showed us the facilities amenities. The staff is here 24/7. I came to the Urgent care center at 11:00 am thinking I would receive urgent help and assistance. I was tested for covid so I expected a wait to be seen. In fairness, that wait was about an hour or so to be tested. I was told to wait in my vehicle. I waited about 2.5 hours then called thinking, maybe I didn't give them the correct #. So when I call to ask they tell me there was a real emergency, they don't have the results yet, and that I should remain in my vehicle. Another hour went by so I called again. They told me there was another ER situation and they really couldn't give me an estimated time when I'd have my results. I asked if I could return home and be called to return. The woman said that would be okay. My question is, why did I have to think that up? I sat in my running vehicle for over 5 hours before deciding I wasn't going to have an answer at anytime in the foreseeable future. I felt that was inconsiderate and it left me feeling forgotten. Meanwhile, since the wait to get tested wasn't long (and before knowing I'd be in my car for hours without any correspondence from your side) I recommended your facility to a colleague. She was tested about 4 hours after me. At about 8pm we talked and were shocked that I still hadn't received the call that my results were back. She dreaded her call coming much later than mine, as she was tested much later. Since it was 8pm, we were both dreading going in at such a later hour. At 9:15 I received a call from my colleague telling me your facility had called her to come in. I was shocked since I had gone so many hours before, and yet no word from your facility. I called your facility to ask if my results were ready. I was placed on hold to check. After being on hold for a bit, someone came back and asked what I was on hold for. I explained and was placed on another long hold. At that time, I had another call coming in so I clicked over since I was on hold so long. The other caller was someone from your facility asking me to come in for me results. By this time, my colleague was sitting in the lobby to be taken back for her results. She watched the ladies at your front desk as they were confused, disorganized, and careless. She told me they were saying things to her like, "yes! She's on the phone now", "Palomo? Yes, that's her on the phone now and she's asking again." At this point I make my way in to see my colleague in the lobby waiting to be taken back. She had been there about 20 minutes. When I told the ladies who I was, they took me back and left her in the lobby and told her she had to wait. No one knew were associates. When I was placed in a room, I sat there for about 10 minutes. No big deal. When the nurse peeked in she asked me what my name was. I told her and she walked out. I could hear her and other associates whispering about what room they thought I was in, and who was in the other room. Everyone was so confused, unaware, and downright disorganized. I regret referring your establishment to anyone. I regret using your facilities and trusted NOTHING I was informed of by your Dr. My colleague and I were so disgusted by the experience and so doubtful that we left your facility and when right to another covid testing place. The reason why is because WE DIDNT TRUST THE RESULTS BEING READ TO US WERE TRULY EVEN OURS!!!! Maybe they were accidentally reading me the other persons results that should have been in the room I was in. Very very unhappy, dissatisfied, and disgusted. read more

COVID-19 TEST REVIEW. The "rapid" testing is not as rapid as advertised, although still convenient. The advertising says that you get your results in ~10 minutes, which is only partially true. Pros: results within 24 hours - staff honors your reserved place in line 11:00 am (SIGN IN): As instructed, I drove behind the facility to sign in and reserve my place in line to get tested. I waited in the parking lot, went shopping, got lunch and finally around 4:00 pm I went home after asking one of the front staff if I could go and return once I get a call back. BTW, they do wait for you to return to the clinic for your reserved spot. It just took me knowing the correct question to ask to get to this conclusion finally 9:00 pm (TEST TIME): I did not receive a call back to get tested until, yes, TEN hours later. The problem wasn't the wait since, understandably, this facility is an emergency room and they must see their emergent patients. The problem was the lack of advisement from the staff members. Not one of the ~four staff members I spoke with advised me that I was allowed to go home and wait for my call back. Maybe that's a high expectation on my part.. but waiting hours in the parking lot lead me to believe that in the least it could be an option presented. ~9:45 pm (TEST DONE): testing was done quickly - nasal swab (hurts just as bad as you think). I'm only then told I will have to wait to speak with the doctor, in person, to know my results. I judged better by this point and went home to wait. ~ 2:20 am (RESULTS READY): I get called in to speak with the doctor regarding my results My report reads that my results were done within a matter of 10 minutes. True as advertised! The billboard doesn't mention, however, that you then have to wait for the availability of a doctor to be told whether you're negative or positive. I understand the staff works within the limits + space they're given and that these are strenuous times. I wrote this to give a heads up to anyone else who could possibly have the same reality of the testing outcome here. read more

I recently came to your facility with severe covid symptoms including a debilitating migraine. I saw Dr. Romanko who quickly determined I was severely dehydrated and hooked me up to an IV. I was released shortly after all my labs checked out fine. When I first arrived at the clinic I was barely able to walk due to dizziness and after treatment, I was able to walk out with no problem. I felt like a new person. Dr. Romanko assured me my body would heal itself from Covid in a few days, and it certainly has. I appreciate Dr. Romanko for not prescribing unnecessary/harmful medications and allowing my body to heal itself. Dr. Romanko is a very wise doctor with a beautiful bedside manner. GAVE ME THE WRONG COVID RESULTS - would not recommend for anyone getting COVID testing. Received negative results, only to get a call half a day later that I was actually positive. No responsibility taken for the mistake. And the issues didn't stop there. I sent them my short-term disability paperwork because I was out of work for 3 weeks due to being positive. Called every day, 2-5 times per day with no one answering the phone. No replies to my emails. Finally got someone on the phone on Saturday who then hung up on me when they heard my complaints. I then decided to walk in to talk with them and they didn't even have a manager on duty. I was told that my PCP is who is supposed to fill it out, which I know isn't the case. Mind you, this is weeks after no response. My paperwork is now going to be late and I won't be getting paid for those 3 weeks. I am still waiting for the manager to email me back, even though I was told that it was her personal email and she should be getting back to me ASAP. COULD NOT RECOMMEND LESS. They have now been reported to the state and I will be finding the owner's information to proceed with a possible small claims suit. read more

Came in for a covid testing, as if that's not horrible enough they called me to come back in for results. I came in, there was no one in the waiting room, I was asked my name and whether I was called. I replied yes and I was told to have a seat. 10 more people walked in after me including a family of four all asked the same thing, all went in before me. After the room cleared they asked me if they could help me, I incredulously said, "I'm waiting for results" to which the attendant asked "did you get a call?" I responded yes, then two more people walked in, including a co-worker and still I waited as they were helped, also here for their results. Finally someone else comes out and says I can come in, this person still did not know my name. How can I trust these results? I asked, "do you know my name?" "No" was the response. I was led to a room and yet One more person walked in to the room without knowing my name. I get Covid times and we all need to be patient but the fact that I was asked by the same people if I can be helped, if I had been called for results, if I was given a room number and what was my name multiple times my patience are exhausted. I have wasted all day and I don't even trust the results I'm going to get, whenever they come back in. As soon as I leave this place I'll have to go somewhere else and start all over again because I don't feel comfortable with the competence of this staff. I walked in there this morning at 5am feelings to miserable, the doctor and nurse Rolando got immediately to work with me along with Liz. Made me feel safe and in good hands. I received wonderful attention from their staff for the time I was there. They ran all test and exams necessary to made sure I was sent home feeling great.
