They won't enforce the no photo rule in the locker rooms, especially saunas. Photos and selfies were taken while I've been in the sauna and nothing was done about it. They don't enforce the shower requirement and people go in after working out with their dirty clothes and shoes all the time. They'll belittle and dismiss you if you bring up the issue. If you want to be apart of the group who spend 250 a month. If you want that kind of exclusivity at a cost of everything else. Then this gym is for you. EDIT. Got access via wellhub with my employer. Walked in and was turned away even after having used my wellhub code for the day as a manager must be present for me to use wellhub. Even after seeing that I've used my code for the day I was turned away and not even offered the day for free until a manager could link my account. Lifetime replied to my prior review with a note about getting in touch but when I attempted to do so I was turned away from the gym even after having used my wellhub code. Below is my review from my first issue with gym management. I was a member for a few months but cancelled my membership for a few reasons. The inside of the Gym was kept nice and clean and there was ample space to exercise. I liked the body measurement system which provided a printed readout for keeping track of body trends. Their own operation is what is leading me to give them 2 stars. During my time there they did not focus on the experience and instead focused on trying to get members to spend more money. 1. They closed the elevators right next to the main desk, directly disabling the floor selection and adding copypaper over the buttons. This is almost certainly due to trying to help their struggling cafe (which was overpriced and mediocre and I don't even know why it was there). With the new elevator positions it's now required to make an odd walk out to the front of the building to enter through a long corridor, past this cafe. Prior, you could just walk directly up to the front desk from your car. Didn't have to go outside. Super easy and the nicest entrance to a gym I've seen. Lifetime's own greed in wanting to ensure that members passed by their mediocre cafe took priority over providing a better guest experience. 2. Lockers cost extra. There are two sizes of lockers in the locker rooms. These are all unlabelled and you can put your stuff in any of them while you work out. I would leave my gym bag in one of the hundreds of lockers during the week at times so I didn't have to bring it with me and leave it in my car. I came in the last time I was there to find it missing. As it turns out, using a locker for more than your gym session requires that you pay 100$ on top of the already insane 250$ for a reserved locker. In a facility with hundreds of excess lockers. With no signs or even offers of this service until after they had confiscated my bag. This wasn't evident at all when I visited and left me panicking that my clothes had been stolen from my locker. This lifetime fitness, which is by far their smallest gym in the company by a large margin, charges you the same as their fully featured multi-floor fitness centers in other states. Those centers get multiple ball courts (pickleball, basketball, etc...), pools, cold plunges, hot tubs, bars, large studios, etc... Many many more features than this center and charge the same amount. Even with the excessive and greedy 250$ price tag per month on this gym, they manage to offer the least and then decide to upcharge their members on lockers as well as remove amenities to support their somehow failing cafe. Is it worth it? No. Is it significantly greedier than the other locations in the company? YES, by far. For 250$ a month I'd expect to get top-tier service and at least have a locker to keep my stuff in during the week. Instead I get a gym that nickled and dimed me even after I paid them 3,000$ a year. To say I was underwhelmed is an understatement. For being in a luxury area this place was far from it. This lifetime has little to no amenities other than the small amount of gym equipment it does have and filthy locker rooms that have a disgusting sauna and steam room. The odor from both rooms made me gag, and there are dirty used towels strewn about the place. The shower amenities in the stall I was using were also completely empty. The gym itself is fine for an average gym, but for its current monthly rate it's a scam. No pool, no courts of any kind, and it's only one small level. The little equipment and machines they do have are covered in hair which was appalling, and concerning. Thank God I am only visiting. read more

I don't even know if Yelp allows you enough characters to express my love for this club. First of all, when COVID-19 hit Manhattan, NYHRC and LifeTime had already announced their merger/conversion. I had 30 days coming to me for referring a guest through NYHRC and then 8 days left on my prepaid membership . The 23rd St Lifetime didn't open until November and I moved to CA in December so those days were just hanging there (until I return to NYC). Lifetime has been the Equinox for the burbs and Middle America many years. The clubs are vast. Like Co-Op city if it were a luxury club with spa, massage, waxing, Pilates, yoga, spinning, weights, pool, steam, sauna, cardio.... This LifeTime is evidently a "boutique" but it is cavernously large to me. There is no pool at this location but it is absolutely beautiful and the steam room is half the size of my NYC apt. It's a bit heavy on eucalyptus and my eyes began to burn but I didn't care. The dry sauna is a wonderful pine and very hot. Huge locker room with decent shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a particularly nice body lotion. They even have razors (no gym does that post-COVID) plus shaving lotion, q tips, and makeup wipes. Everyone is really nice and the whole club has large windows. It's bright and airy. Enormous cardio area. I didn't take note of the ellipticals or treadmills as I was just there to steam and sauna post-travel nightmare (Hertz rental disaster not yet resolved: I go tomorrow to see why they gave away a car for which I prepaid in June via Priceline). I really like the color scheme downstairs and the yoga room is nice. They have teak storage for shoes. Tons of foam rollers and other props. I have no idea what the place costs but when people out of NYC and LA complain about gym prices, it usually means just south of 200/month. In NYC, Eq Sports Club is 330 or so, and the regular membership 250. Whatever it is, it's worth it. My only suggestion would be to turn the music down in the locker room and the gym in general. People listen to their own music but even so, the booming bass is audible. The cafe looks wonderful and they have all kinds of spa services, CBD gummies and creams for sale. I will eat at the Lifecafe/juice bar tomorrow. Los Angeles will never have a luxury alternative to Equinox due to the square footage requirement (Equinox has already taken over the available spaces: i.e. Sepulveda). That's why LifeTime never came to NYC. When NYHRC decided to cede four clubs out of the 9, they moved in. But then the pandemic hit. LifeTime put 25 million dollars into four clubs. I don't know what's happening to the remaining four. Madison/50th shut for good. It will be interesting to see if LifeTime gets the market share of Equinox disaffected members. There was never a luxury alternative in the city and now there is. SO grateful. Training for Sharkfest Golden Gate and I can't weight train without steam/sauna for recovery. P.S. TWO BRAND NEW POWER PLATES! They cost between 10 and 14 grand. My club in SB used to have one (6 plus years ago). I almost cried when I saw TWO overlooking the 405 through the trees. read more

The gym is around 38,000 square foot urban resort features and there are"4" fitness studios! - Fitness area with state of the art equipment - Sauna and Steam room - A dedicated functional training area - Yoga studio There are over 60 classes each week. I've heard instructors are high level and motivated people. These classes include heated and non-heated yoga, Zumba, Core, LifeBarre, Cycle, Warrior Sculpt, HIT..etc Member has access to all amenities and studio classes..and they also provide massage, personal training, nutrition coaching, Reformer's Pilates and more. If you become a member, they will give you 100points and you can use that points towards pt or nc or whatever. Finally they have a cafe onsite! The club will be open daily from 4am until midnight. This review is for the Lifecafe. Having worked at the Bravern for almost 10 years (since it opened in Sept 2009), I have been mainly having my lunches in the back room of my work. After finding this gem, I will be sending my guests down here for a nutritious lunch as well as sampling everything on their menu. Make sure to get your stamp card started so you can save after the 10th item in four categories. Jenny, who works in the cafe, is so personable and is a diamond in the cafe. Everyone here is great! They offer smoothies, salads, pizzas...all seem to be well received by the guests here. My wife and I were previous members of the David Barton gym, which first occupied this space as a gym. David Barton was a bit more 'body builder' in that the focus was more on weight lifting. And pretentiousness. It's still too early to tell if Lifetime will be much different, but based on the opening night tonight (4/12) it could go either way. However, based on the friendly staff in the upgraded space it looks very promising. I can tell you that there are many significant upgrades that make this space much more inviting than David Barton. First, the entrance used to be shaped like a skateboard half-pipe which was all wasted space, but has been replaced with a much more functional café. And my wife keeps reminding me this is the place where you can order shakes through their app. I think that's a good thing, at least my wife is really excited about it. In terms of exercise equipment, all of their machines are new and are well organized throughout. Windows abound, and they all look out onto an open expanse that covers 405 South. It doesn't sound very interesting, but it's a great view of the entrance of downtown Bellevue. It's also much more open and airy than David Barton was, and looks much more inviting. Additionally, the staff is all very friendly and the locker rooms are also vastly improved. This is a hard feat given how great they were beforehand, but now include an upgraded sauna and steam room in both the men's and women's locker rooms. They also offer massages on premises, spin classes, and many other classes covering a wide spectrum of activities. My wife also tells me that this is cheaper per couple than Orange Theory which is down the street and occupies a much smaller footprint. The only advantage Orange Theory has over Lifetime is the easier parking which doesn't require validation. But other than that, Lifetime is vastly superior and much more upscale in every other way. Have been a member here since they first opened this location, but only went once a month (if that) for a while due to business travel. Have been going a bit more regularly these days and continue to find the level of service outstanding. Not a huge fan of the parking situation, but it's tolerable for something resembling a downtown area. Hours are great and the crowds are generally not a problem on the cardio side of the house. Can get a bit more packed in the free weights area, but it's still manageable. All in all a great gym for the price point and will continue membership indefinitely. read more

I found this gym through Google Maps because I was searching for a new place to go that is 10 mins or less walking distance from my new job in Bellevue. It wasn't open yet, but I decided to become a founding member and am very happy I did!! This is honestly the best gym I have been to for many reasons: 1. The variety of classes they offer (and you can take as many as you want as long as you're a member) and they have all the equipment you need - different types of mats, foam rollers, ab dollys, lots and lots of dumbells/kettlebells etc. 2. The variety of services and amenities they have: LifeCafe that sells delicious and nutritious meals and protein smoothies, the Spa (still have yet to try this but I hear the massages are great), the InBody Assessment machine where you can casually check your muscle mass, body fat, and more details, they also offer other testing ($$) like active metabolic assessment, allergies, and more, there's also a sauna/steamroom/showers - all the gym basics you can think of 3. This facility is brand new, so it is super clean and well equipped. The employees do an excellent job of upkeeping the cleanliness of the entire place. Sometimes it smells like BBQ because there is a steakhouse located above, so don't come hungry or be prepared for a mental battle. 4. The employees are awesome - from the front desk people to the life café cashiers to the instructors to the admin peeps. Since day one, they all have been welcoming, friendly and helpful. Being in an environment where everyone is just super nice and positive makes ya feel good. Parking Tip: This gym is located in the Bravern Shops next to Hermes. Park in Amber or Emerald to be closest to the gym (Floor *1). If you are coming out of Emerald, your elevator will bring you into a building; just walk straight ahead outside and you will see it. If you are coming out of Amber, take a left and it will be on your left right in the corner. You can also enter straight from the elevator if you can find the purple area (Amethyst)? There is validated parking for 6 hours, make sure to remember to bring your ticket with you. The peeps are the front desk who check you in can validate it for you. Classes Tip: Download the app to reserve classes and see the schedule! It's super easy to use. You can reserve up to 6 days in advance. Not all group fitness classes require a reservation, but the ones that do are any Yoga, Barre, Cycle, and Pilates. If you want to use your guest pass to bring a friend, you need to sign them up too, which you can do at the front desk. You will need their phone number and e-mail. About classes: I did a one week trial of the Alpha Team Training classes and decided to join (they meet 3x a week). Catherine is an awesome trainer. She is very knowledgeable in nutrition and exercise and I learn something new each time I go to class (she also makes me laugh a lot). This is the first time in my life I've actually used the bar on the rack and did real strength training; it's been fun and rewarding so far! I feel like I'm going to die after each class and I sometimes cannot escape the soreness for the entire week. It's great. The classes I have been taking in between and really enjoy are Warrior Sculpt with Becky who has AMAZING energy, Yoga Bootcamp with Kevin who plays great music, Barbell Strength with Gina who is friendly and encouraging, and ALL the Yoga classes - flow, root, surrender (heated is great!). The Yoga Bootcamp class fills up extremely quickly, so make sure to reserve your spot. Zumba is a fun and energetic class, as well as Gluteus Maxout hahaha. They have an express 30 min class Wednesday evening. All the instructors are skilled and seem to love what they do! About LifeCafe: The beef burger is super delicious, and I don't feel bad about eating it. The chimichurri chicken sandwich is also yummy. For salads I like their seasonal salmon salad (I get the dressing on the side), and also the Mediterranean Salad. I think my favorite smoothie so far is the vegan almond butter. Matcha pineapple was good too! I was able to get their vanilla collagen peptide protein through the '60-day' discount and I love the taste of it. It isn't too sweet and is easy to drink. Most protein powders are too sweet for me. They have bars, cookies, and BCAA packets here too. I cancelled my membership after opening as during Covid I couldn't get ahold of membership services because of state mandated closures, I asked for a refund of the prorated bill and Brett helped me out. Regretfully I had to cancel my membership due to Covid-19 job losses for my other half and I and on top of that we are taking care of a parent at the moment who's diagnosed with renal failure. I am going to be totally honest here, I only signed up as a member when I heard Kevin Ng was going to teach a couple yoga classes here a week. He is by far my favorite yoga teacher, and trust me, I have been to many many different types of yoga classes. Everyone is different, but his style of teaching is exactly what I am looking for. I tell everyone it is my therapy! He should have his own Ted talks, he is truly such a great motivational speaker. I feel like crying of happiness after every class! He teaches yoga bootcamp and I get a great zen yoga flow, plus some awesome cardio and strength work outs. I loveeee the burpees and mountain climbers! Which is crazy to me because I hate doing those on my own at the gym hahaha! On top of it all, he is truly such a nice guy, I highly recommend his classes. I live a couple blocks away so it is really nice to walk here. I have driven a couple time when coming right after work, parking is pretty simple once you figure out which garage is closer. They validate up to 3 hours I believe. I prefer just walking though because it ends up being much faster for me than driving. I have tried all the yoga classes here, Kevin and Becky are my favorites. Becky's warrior sculpt class is amazing! You also get a really good work out here. I am not much into Hatha or the slower classes. Becky is so sweet and really relateable. She really has that every girl's best friend style, I love it! I have tried a few cycling classes. The seats always hurt my butt. It is a great work out though. I think I will hold off on those until I start bringing my own seat cover with more cushion, cuz mama did not bless me with more natural cushion, haha! But I love how you can reserve your seat online and then they email your stats from your workout after class! So high tech and neat! The gym of course has great equipment. I had played around but I am not so good at training on my own. I need to get a personal trainer haha but the classes have made me come almost every day of the week so that alone is worth it! Now the locker rooms.... sooooo nice! Cleanliness at its best here for a gym. The best locker room I have ever been to. I love the keyless lockers, very convenient. I have been to many saunas but never a steam room!! They steam room is incredible and smells kinda minty in there. I bet it would be amazing if you are stuffed up. I love to sit in the steam room after a good work out and shower there right after. They have lots of nice products like spray deodorant, mouth wash, and actually really powerful hair dryers! Makes it feels like second home, especially since I've been going almost everyday. Overall, it is a great facility. Yes, it does not have any cool courts or pools or day care. But I hated going to other gyms as they are always so crowded. Yes it is more expensive but absolutely worth it having very few people at the gym at a time and not EVER having to wait on any equipment. It's tucked in a corner at the Bravern. There's a healthy cafeteria on site. The facility is super clean and I like how you don't need to bring a lock with their keyless locker. I would never shower at the gym because I don't trust how sanitary it is, but this place is spotless clean. All their equipment are very high tech. I was worried about finding a gym during my recent stay in Bellevue until I saw that there was a Lifetime right around the corner from my hotel. The facility is incredibly clean and well-kept, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and I didn't have much of a wait for any equipment. With that said, the gym floor itself is small compared to other lifetimes, but makes good use of the space. I wish the equipment was the same make and model as at other platinum and onyx facilities, but finding substitutes for my usual workout was easy. I have an onyx membership and this is a diamond club. I wasn't sure how that would work, but the front desk was excellent and helped me with access in no time at all. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area! read more

Pros- Clean, free parking (validated), new equipment, lots of classes, knowledgeable and challenging instructors. Cons- Heavy on yoga and cycle offerings during weekday mornings and afternoons...almost all 4 5 and 6 pm slots have each on offer, daily. Only one barre class in the 5-530pm range during weekdays. Mentioned it to staff, and was told additional would be offered around those times, but nothing so far. Would love to see a few offered during 5pm range on weekdays. Yoga classes are heated and instructors seem to vary on heat level, or the heating system is funky- the same class can be brutally hot one week, low heat the next, only a few spots in room where you can situate yourself away from heat panels. read more

Locker room is always spotless, and the exercise equipment is continuously being cleaned. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Extremely disappointed with my recent experiences and prior experiences with Ryan Anderson, Life Time Bellevue's General Manager. As a former Life Time member who paused my membership during the pandemic due to safety reasons and because Life Time furloughed the teachers whose classes I attended for the foreseeable future with no return date, I reached out to see what rates were for returning members in February 2022 now that one of my favorite instructors was back on the schedule. I was informed there was no benefit or incentive to being a former member, you aren't grandfathered into your previous monthly rates (or anything close), and rates significantly rose (I was quoted a $70 / month + tax increase). While Sarah Kraft from member services kindly answered my questions, Ryan Anderson, who was looped into the conversation because it was her day off, was extremely rude, unprofessional, and condescending. Unfortunately, this was not the first time I received this kind of tone, treatment, and disrespect from him and sadly I am not alone. Instead of simply answering my question about how come other members who were in the exact same situation as me (canceled their membership during the thick of the pandemic and were now looking to return to Life Time as things were opening up) received more favorable rates, Ryan was very demeaning and resorted to mansplaining. His response was honestly rather shocking and uncouth. Sarah informed me that starting January 1, 2022 rates rose to $199 / month (I was previously paying $129 / month so a $70 / month increase + tax) and the club up-leveled to a "signature club" and this was the only pricing currently offered, however, another member who I spoke with who was in the exact same situation and rejoined a couple weeks prior (and after January 1, 2022) was offered a lower rate by Sarah. Ryan later clarified they actually officially transitioned their pricing on December 16, 2021 which is yet another example of contradictory information provided by Life Time staff over the years. We've noticed things change based on who you're talking to and who's asking. Last year in the throes of the pandemic, members were asked to start paying hold fees of $15 / month + tax with no guarantee the fitness instructors they liked would be asked to come back to teach or return (a whole other story). Through conversations with other members, we learned we were all being asked to start paying this hold fee at different times rather than all at the same time which seemed rather strange. When I reached out about this, Ryan denied there was differential treatment / opportunities being provided yet members were clearly being asked to start paying hold fees at different times and unfortunately it sounded like I was one of the earlier ones per my conversations with other members. Ryan's response at this time was yet again very rude and unprofessional. It is very disappointing to see someone in a leadership position lack basic customer service skills and common decency when a customer is trying to get more information about rejoining which is supposed to be an exciting and stress-free situation. This type of approach from any level, especially management, detracts from brand affinity and reduces customer retention and referral. If it weren't for the amazing fitness instructors who are slowly returning and bringing us back, many of us would probably not even be considering returning to Life Time based on our experiences with Ryan and the customer service we've received over the years. Side note, apparently during the pandemic, Life Time Bellevue was "up-leveled" to from a "diamond club" to a "signature club" which means rates are significantly higher, you have to pay for Small Group Training services you don't necessarily want / need because it's now one set price, all while the facilities remained the same (still significantly less amenities than other "diamond" and "signature" clubs), hours of operations were reduced, and the group fitness classes weren't as robust as prior to this "up-leveling." read more

Absolutely love this gym. Signed up as a Founding Member well before the doors opened, and ever since the customer service has been fantastic. The staff is friendly, accommodating, helpful, welcoming, and personable. The staff is consistent too, which leads me to believe they enjoy their jobs and there's not a lot of turn over (which speaks volumes to the culture of Life Time Fitness). The gym itself is beautiful and stylish, and the equipment is top notch and diverse. Offering complimentary classes is also a huge bonus. And for the people who don't think the pricing is justified, well you get what you pay for. For Bellevue standards, it's reasonable. I'm happy to pay a little extra for a gym that is sanitary and spotless because it's cleaned 24/7 and for staff that is passionate about fitness. Not to mention the countless complimentary classes they offer (sure beats paying $30 for one spin class elsewhere). And they have a healthy cafe and spa services on site, what more could you ask for?! read more

I've been to Lifetime locations all over the nation and was excited to find one in walking distance. However, I was very disappointed by this one location. I've come to have very high expectation from Lifetime fitness as every location I've visited always has exemplary service, cleanliness, and amenities. This location still hit the mark as far as service and cleanliness. My disappointment is the amenities at this location fall far short of what I've come expect at even Lifetime's lowest bronze tier locations. This is the nicest gym I have ever been to! The locker room facilities (include showers, bathrooms, lockers, sauna, and steamroom) are all very well kept and have very high cleanliness standards. The best thing about the gym for me is that in addition to very well equipped free weights and cardio floors in separate areas, the classes (except for Pilates) are included in my monthly payment. Each program (barre, cycle, yoga, etc.) has variations and then there are classes like Gluteus MAXout which effectively made me unable to walk right for three days. I have never gotten the chance to regularly go to yoga or cycling but with this membership I can go whenever I want and there is no limit on how many of a certain type of class you can take per month! You can also reserve spots in a given class which I really love because it a) guarantees me a spot in a popular class and b) holds me accountable to actually go. All of the instructor are highly skilled- many of whom are either the creators of the program or someone who has really dedicated their life to helping others make a change. They are all very motivational and push me to my limit while listening to my body and paying attention to my own personal goals. They are open from 04:00-00:00 every night and have a great little cafe for an after workout snack or meal! I REALLY LOVE THE ALMOND BUTTER PROTEIN SHAKE. You can also create custom shakes and the kitchen is good about edits to an order. They also offer healthy meals to-go, which are great for people on their way to work. I signed up pre-opening with Ryan and he was very informative and answered all of my group's questions. The other staff are nice and also very helpful, especially when I get locked out of my locker...which is a lot because I always forget to set the lock right. I love the app as that is where you can make class reservations, as well as pre-order from the cafe, track your number of visits and guest passes per month, and book services at the spa- which I have yet to try but will definitely do so in the future. Overall, becoming a member has really helped me to make a healthy change in my life and I CANNOT WAIT to keep discovering new classes while improving my mental and physical health! read more

Super like this gym. 4 weightlifting racks with bumper plates and eleiko bars, medicine balls galore, trueform runner treadmills, and even ski ergs! Other cool equipment include a mini adult monkey jungle, tons of rowers, power vibe plates, gliding discs and your standard machines and benches. Of course, being Lifetime, the gym is squeaky clean with higher end JR Watkins products. I took a couple classes and really enjoyed them! My small suggestions are to add roller shades so us morning birds don't get blinded, and add heavier kettlebells. It might be pricey, but it's worth it for the high end equipment they provide - eleiko does not come cheap! read more

Awesome gym! I love it! ABSOLUTE BIGGEST COMPLAINT - Not having a policy for the LATE MEMBERS that disrupt the flow of the beginning of a class, be it yoga, group classes and cycling. Not sure if these are residents live nearby and think it's OK to arrive late or someone coming from their job or just not considerate of others. For the amount of the monthly cost of the gym membership, Life Time, put a policy in place and enforce it, please. LATE PEOPLE - arrive on time to class. THIS IS SARCASM, if you don't get it, FYI. So, I have reviewed the David Barton gym, which this place has replaced. What can I say? The fees just do not do justice to this mind boggling gym. There is more seating area on hardwood flooring and a large cafe then there is an actual gym area. I love hardwood. There are so many offices in this gym, that I could move my entire company here. Work and workout! They offer so many choices for yoga, etc., classes that I was shocked. But, who cares about classes anyway, right? The equipment looks new and unused - no sweaty person has ever used it before! The sales people really seem to care and don't intimidate you at all, which was why I joined. Absolutely the best gym in Bellevue and the greater Seattle area. It's pricier but well worth it. The gym is spotless, the equipment is well maintained, and the team that works here really cares about the members. It's not your typical "bro" gym. It's a cool community here where everyone seems to connect on being healthy & fit. People genuinely celebrate each other's successes in classes and on the gym floor. I have a personal trainer here (Olivia) that I originally went to twice a week but have increased to 4 times a week based on the results she is helping me achieve. She works hard to program my routines and make sure she adjusts them based on what she sees in my performance. Olivia is a great trainer and if you're lucky enough to get on her schedule you'll be glad you did. Alex and Joe are also great. The spa here is incredible and I would highly recommend Simon to help you with post workout recovery with a CBD massage. The Life Cafe is a great place to fuel up, or to wind down and refuel after a hard workout. Food and smoothies are always great and the team is fun and remembers your favorites. The southwest bowl and the body builder smoothies are my favorites. You can also pick up all of your typical workout supplements as well as a range of vitamins in the cafe. There are also group classes included in your membership from hot yoga, to cycling etc. The Pilates classes can also be booked if you are looking for better mobility and range of motion. Great add-on to your routine. The front desk staff all get to know you and are super welcoming. No other gym like this in the area. If you're a business traveler, I would also recommend you get a membership that allows you to go to other Life Time facilities. There are some great ones around the country, and although I've loved them all...Bellevue is my favorite based on the people working here. Like I said...more expensive than most gyms, but you get what you pay for. I went in to try Life Time today and was very disappointed with my experience due to an encounter with one of their employees. When I met with the membership rep, Mick he was immediately dismissive when he heard that we weren't ready to purchase a membership package the day of. He promptly ended our conversation saying that we shouldn't have indicated interest in a membership when signing up and handed us passes without a tour or pricing options, making me and my friend and myself feel very uncomfortable just because we wanted to try out the facility before making any commitments. While I was initially interested in thinking more about switching gyms, I decided I will not take Life Time into consideration if their employees only market packages to those who are already sure they want to join. read more

I was a member at David Barton and am absolutely impressed with the Lifetime gym... same location, with much better service, classes and experiences. The ambiance is warm and inviting, the atmosphere makes you feel welcome to hang out, the classes have great instructors so far.... overall just a great experience. I've tried both the cycle class (EDG) and yoga (ROOT), in addition to the treadmill and general equipment. Definitely look forward to additional classes and encourage folks to give this gym a try. read more

I have been considering this gym for over a year now but I was stuck in a contract with me current gym. I have been in contact with Mick, now each time I spoke to him it was either the sale was ending that night of or the following weekend EVERY WEEK. This gym seems like it would be a great fit for me but not if this is how they "sell" you into coming to there gym. I feel like Mick needs to know that people don't want to feel bamboozled into getting something as simple as a gym membership. Now I get having a sales job and having a quota but this is the way to run people off. I called to speak to a general manager twice and there always in a meeting. As a corporate employee of Verizon I plan to pass this info on to let people know that this gym is just about tricking you into thinking there sale ends TODAY AND then you'll get a random email saying it's been extended lol read more

Let me preface this by saying I'm not a gym rat by any standards but this place is turning me into one. I had been looking for a gym to join for a personal trainer after moving to the area, it was helpful that this was close to my home and convenient to access from an hours standpoint. I didn't plan on doing the classes necessarily but I'm now finding myself making time in my days for them because they're so good! From my first interactions requesting pricing on membership and a personal trainer, to the tour of the facilities, to my first classes and first personal training session- the friendliness of everyone who works here makes it well worth the money. I am easily intimidated by a gym atmosphere because I barely know what I'm doing in there but they all quickly put me at ease. I wasn't forced into a membership that day but I had planned to sign up and pay on my tour day anyway, they asked me when/if I would plan to sign up and were very open about the costs associated. Brett in particular, who gave me the tour and helped me sign up, has remembered my name and greets me every time he sees me. I didn't think it was possible to NOT be intimidated by a gym but well, here we are. I think the other huge benefit which seems as though it's been mentioned in other reviews is that there's a lack of gym bros here which is great and contributes to the overall positive nature of the gym. I didn't think I was a classes person either but I've been taking a core yoga class with Heather/Valerie which is truly exceptional, and they seem to have lots of options for whatever people prefer. The timings are not always ideal for those of us on 10-12 hour weekday schedules but I try to make it up on the weekends. Special shout out to Bryan, who did my free consultation before he set me up with Elizabeth for personal training. He was extremely professional and gave me all the pricing details I needed for signing up, again without being pushy. Elizabeth herself is so wonderful and I feel very lucky to be paired with her, she works me to the bone but even now only a few sessions in I can feel a difference in my body. Her focus on positive body talk and pushing me without causing any actual pain is what makes her unique, and someone I will definitely continue to train with. There is a spa which costs extra for massage, facials etc which I also received a tour of during my first visit- it looks beautiful and also very clean like the rest of the gym. The cafe out front is available to non members as well as members and they have the most delicious açaí bowls; my favorite for post workout carbs and protein is the chipotle chicken quesadilla though! And they have a punch card for a free item after meeting a certain amount which is great. There's a locker room with showers, products, and blow dryers available to anyone who is working out in the facility but because I live near by I've never used the actual showers. Again though, the locker room area and the shower area always looks very clean. I frequently see them cleaning all the areas of the gym which is really reassuring. Is it an expensive monthly membership, and expensive for personal training? Yes- and in my opinion if budgeted well and appropriate effort put into it, more than worth the cost for a very clean and friendly environment for fitness. I appreciate the emphasis on healthy living too, and the fact that nobody I've met so far has been pushy about additional purchases and add ons. I never thought I would be someone who looked forward to working out, but this place sold me on the entire philosophy! read more

We toured the facilities here and thought it was perfect - I especially love how well-maintained the equipment here is. I did get a sense that there might be an odd dynamic where the staff versus gym members are difficult to distinguish between and that's ultimately why I'm hesitating to sign up. It may just take more time for the intended clientele to build up. I really wanted to love this place but working out here is borderline unbearable. The gym is full of stereotypical "gym bros." As a woman, prepare to be constantly checked out by creeps or stared up and down while you try to finish an exercise because some beefcake wants you to get out of their way and has no ability to hide their blatant impatience. There are no smith machines (ok there is kind of one but the bar can't even be lowered to the ground and does not allow for many different exercises to be done on it). There are only free barbells to load weights on, and they are always occupied. If I could, I would give 4-5 stars for the service and the cleanliness of locker rooms only. The staff who helped me set up (and quit) my membership was incredibly responsive and helpful. I am moving out of the state or I may have given it a longer shot, but honestly I tried to work out here a few times and always left within half an hour because I felt so comfortable. Paid for a package that I was never contacted for, until had to talk with the GM about it. But the time that I was contacted by Melissa, I felt not welcomed at this pace anymore. Took more than 10 days to someone to contact me about the package I paid for, this was because I had to contact the GM first about it, or probably I would be still waiting. Now, I want the refund since I did not get for what I paid for, but they refuse to refund me with the excuse of this seven days refund policy. But if took 10 days to someone contact me because of my complaint, how do you want to come with this seven days refund policy? I could not even try the service , and I am sure that if Brett was not contacted about my complaint, I would be still waiting for someone to call me so I could get what I paid for! read more
