5 years in...Life Time is definitely a five star facility offering the latest training equipment, high quality services such as massage therapy, hair salon, nail tech. A full service cafe for every meal hour, dual I door pools & hot tubs. Eucalyptus steam rooms in male & female locker room as well as sauna. Towel service, complimentary toileties and awesome classes from hot Yoga Flow to Core strengthening. Full basketball court, rock climbing wall outdoor pool with slides for the kiddos and cafe for your convenience without tracking water inside during summer season. Moral of this review; can't deny the membership fees are astronomical but so are the amenities. My only slight issue is the LACK of friendliness by certain staff members (personal trainers, salespersons). A handful of the trainers don't even crack a smile let alone greet a member at eye contact. It's rude & unprofessional. A member should not have to be your personal client in order to be acknowledged politely. Good service & kindneas are free of charge and go a looooong way in retaining otherwise disgruntled members. ~Christy

Love this gym . It's more like a family complex than a gym It has two pools, a huge workout area with modern equipment. Large clean dressing rooms , a salon and a cafe. You really could spend the day here. Cons: membership is over a 100 a month It's very far from me so i wouldn't get to it daily so not worth that amount. If you have a family and live near their place is perfect!!

I think I've been here enough times to give this place a review…read more I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new gym. I know there's a lifetime nearby too but it's so ridiculously overpriced and I don't use all the amenities to validate going there (having been a previous member). I love that wild horse is just a 6 minute drive from the house. It's usually the hardest part of going to workout - getting there, but it's so easy and there's always a parking spot open close to the door (since weather is in single digits!!) I'd say I go during odd hours since I have a hybrid work schedule. 11:30-2pm have 12+ people but it's never too crowded that I have to wait for a machine to be free (excluding today where everyone collectively decided to workout arms like me!) and 4-6p is when it gets a little busier, I bet due to people getting off work and wanting to get their workout in. Machines are clean as well as locker rooms. Towels are always available once you walk down to the floor or hit up the locker room to put your stuff away. There are cubbies where you can quickly stash your belongings as well. There are also jacket hooks in the locker room for colder seasons. The staff are all nice and friendly! The members are too! There's a wide array of machines for every muscle or variations of ones you've probably seen at other gyms. A ton of life fitness machines, free weights, cables, treadmills, ellipticals, stair masters, you name it, they've got it! Couples membership is around $130/month plus $100~ sign up fee Worth it to stay or get in the best shape of your life!

I had the three day trial and went to try my second day. The first time was a great experience,…read moredropped the kids there and everything. The second time not great. I showed up and the front desk proceeded to tell me it's three CONSECUTIVE days. I thought I must have overlooked it but upon checking the pass and the website, I can't find anywhere where it says that. So my first issue of that's the case is it should be made more clear. I then decided I had come this far and would eat the ten dollar one time charge. Was meeting a friend there to workout like the first time. And our kids would play together. The front desk the stopped me and said sorry, we can't take your kid unless you have a membership. Look, it wasnt the end of the world but it was a waste of time. .I'm surprised they did not make an exception as it ses clear it's not a liability issue it's a money issue. Anyways, I'd just try to. More clear on that. I was l close to cancelling orange theory in lieu of CF but given that I couldn't even get a hold of an actual person at the location to discuss it seems that avoiding clients is the MO

I sweat a lot and i'm trying to lose weight. But I have noticed in the last six months that the fans are on higher in the back , where the weight machines are , and they're almost totally off in the front where the cardio equipment is. I have talked to a couple employees about turning the fans up and they were able to do that. Today I decided I was going to talk to a manager and somebody else?( who i'm not sure if he's a manager or not.) I told them my situation. The manager said that he could not just do that because I asked. He said that what happens when somebody asked to turn the fans down? I also am a member of planet fitness, and their fans are the bomb no matter where you are in the building. The manager today told me that he had to ask the upper echelon if he could turn the fans on , I call b******* on that. The\nOther thing is that the main manager never smile and is not friendly. So if you're thinking of joining a gym and you're trying to lose weight and you sweat a lot , I recommend going to planet fitness!

I travel quite a bit, so I'm frequently visiting gyms out of town. I see some pretty incredible…read moregyms and others that I would not ever return to, so I think I have a good perspective on what a gym should look like and the equipment conditions of each. You have a great location with ample space and a good selection of machines to work out without having to wait for another member to move to the next machine. You have a friendly attendant who works for you when he is working. Your members are courteous and seem to be great people. Because I rated you only three stars, I'm asked what could improve. So, here's my suggestion list for you to consider if you want to "improve": Several pieces of equipment are in need of replacement parts, the floors are in constant need of vacuuming, especially under and around the machines and dumbbell racks, the drinking fountain is in serious need of cleaning, and the water filter for it has been in need of replacing for at least 30 days. Sticky note signs of instructions should be replaced with better, more professional ones (those you have posted or taped to walls or machines just look bush league). The lockers need locks replaced as you have 12 lockers and only three with keys. Several of the padding of the machines are worn and tattered. Accessories for the cable machines are lying on the floor due to not enough racks to return them to. The kettlebell collection is lacking. Lastly, at least half of the gyms that I visit around the country provide sweat towels for the members. In all candor, if there were another gym that had your type and number of machines in the Wildwood area, that kept things clean and better maintained, I'd likely move my membership to them. Your location is the one thing that's keeping me as a member for the time being.

I have never had to wait for a machine or give mine up after 30 minutes, and they have lots of TVs and machines with TVs on them, so your TV fix is set. The best thing about this location is their morning cycling classes with Lynn, who is a WONDERFUL cycling instructor. Let's face it, some cycling instructors suck. Lynn creates well-planned cycling classes and sets them to good, upbeat music that almost makes you forget what a crazy workout you're getting. Plus, the classes are free with membership so you can go all you want. So if you want a really unpretentious place to work out without feeling out of place amidst the triathletes and body builders, the Wildwood YMCA is for you.
