    2lb breakfast burrito

This is a very small shop all the way in the back corner of a small plaza. As the name implies, they serve up coffee along with other food items such as breakfast burritos, croissant sandwiches, and calzones. Oddly enough, the way this place looks is different from the pictures of the past. It definitely has that small business type of feel with inventory out in the public area, no sign boards showing the menu, and various inventory on the tables. They do have a written menu at least. The prices are good and the taste of the food are unique. I got their huge breakfast burrito and a croissant BLT. My order was taking so long that the owner gave me a free coffee which was quite delicious.

I really wanted to love this place. Cute decor with the nautical theme. Sadly, not a very warm welcome when we walked in. The girl at the counter was on her phone and did not make eye contact or greet us. We ordered a tea and a coffee. She wasn't unpleasant, but she made no eye contact at all as she rang our order - no smile either, she was pretty much just to the point. We got our drinks and were the only customers. She went back to her phone as we sat there with our drinks. There were a bunch of boxes in the middle of the floor on the right, in the middle of the shop. It made the place look like it was not put together and a tad bit messy. I think this is a cute place with a lot of potential. Maybe we came on a day when they just had a delivery, hence all the boxes. Maybe we came on a day when the girl at the counter did not feel like interacting. I don't know, but it sadly didn't leave me with a burning desire to return.

For some reason I thought this place closed down but I'm so glad it didn't and I got to try it for the first time today! This is a cute nautical coffee shop. I like some of the antique type stuff that they have in here! I got an iced coffee with oat milk and English toffee. They charge the same for every size coffee which is awesome! I got my husband a hot caramel latte. The barista was awesome. They make their coffee strong and didn't put too much oat milk in mine so I asked for a little more and he was able to help be out. It tasted amazing! Affordable too! Would come back for sure.

Most offerings are light and have mild flavor. The Croissants are just so buttery. They also offer a Coffee Bun, which has a faintly sweet taste and is also very light. There is also a pastry that contains sausage. Their Croissant is 230 calories, a real flavor bargain. The more robust Almond Croissant is 470-480 calories. On the heavy side, NY-style cheesecake or Berry Tarts are 600-620 calories. Sandwiches run 400-700. You can find out more from their nutrition guides. Before you get your delight, you have to stand in line to order. Sometimes that can be a time-consuming and somewhat confusing ordeal. There are no clearly defined cues for the cash registers. If they are out of a particular coffee or tea, or if someone's order is complex, it creates a delay. The seating area has movable chairs and tables. There is no loud background noise in the seating area. It's well-lit. The bathrooms are in the back. They are adequate and clean. Paris Baguette is a South Korean multinational chain of bakery-cafés. This is not the only one in Phoenix. If you download their app, you will see all the locations and join the loyalty program. The speed of service at the point of sale leaves something to be desired. The rest is really delightful. It's pretty, and it tastes good. If you are careful about what you get, it can even be a low-calorie pastry repast.

I had never been here before so was happily surprised that it was a serve yourself situation -- I always feel so much pressure to select something when you have to get it from the server behind a case. So when you walk in you grab your tray or to go container and some tongs and then you can meander around a look at the goods before making your selection which you then get yourself. Everything looked so good I was practically drooling! After making my selection of an almond croissant and a coffee cronut I made my way up to the counter. I also ordered a korean iced milk coffee -- no idea what it was but sounded good! I took everything to go and when I got home I jumped right into the croissant -- it was almost as hard a rock! It tasted good but it also tasted a day old, which was very very disappointing! The coffee cronut was good too -- it had many layers and was very rich. The coffee cream on it was average -- just basically didn't taste as good as it looked. Unfortunately I can never get those calories back, LOL. The Korean iced milk coffee was good but honestly couldn't taste a difference from regular coffee. Overall the presentation was top notch but the actual tasting experience was less than average. Don't know how much I would go out of my way to come back -- unless I wanted to try one of their cakes.

Being a little unsure I decided to play it safe and order one of the specialty summer drinks, "Almond orgeat, orange blossom Matcha" (with oat milk). Oh my Goodness!!! Truly the best Matcha l've ever had! If you're not familiar with almond orgeat, it is a lovely French syrup made from almonds and sugar and if it's a proper orgeat made with orange blossom water. This drink was like summer on Nantucket! The matcha was properly whisked (as a true matcha should be). Combine the matcha with the flavors of the orange blossom and the almond orgeat made for the most absolutely delightful matcha I've ever had. Now, let's talk about this quaint little roasters coffee beans! Recently moving to Arizona, it's been a bit of a task trying to find a good roaster that I can support locally. Fantastic Atmosphere and Workspace in Midtown, but Mind the Peak Hours…read more My friend and I visited this cafe on a mid-week afternoon looking for a productive spot to get some remote work done, and it proved to be an excellent choice. Logistically, midtown traffic in this area is a well-known hurdle, but the dedicated parking lot located directly behind the building makes arriving by car much easier. Inside, the design and atmosphere are an absolute vibe. The mismatched furniture, abundance of indoor plants, and view of the green canopy outside provide a perfect, refreshing escape from the summer heat. The menu is varied and high-quality. I ordered a matcha latte, which was excellent and refreshing, while my friend opted for a lunch sandwich and a latte. For true coffee enthusiasts, they also sell specialty house-roasted coffee beans retail, including a Guatemalan Antigua and another select house blend. The lounge offers plenty of comfortable seating tailored for focus and productivity. While the pricing is slightly higher than your average coffee shop, the exceptional atmosphere and amenities justify the cost. One quick tip for remote workers: The environment shifts noticeably after 4:00 PM. The space can become quite loud with patrons taking phone calls or conducting 1-on-1 meetings at adjacent tables. If you plan to work through the late afternoon, I highly recommend bringing a pair of noise-canceling headphones to remain undisturbed.
