I've only been here once, but the space was cute and I enjoyed my order! I got a chai with lavender, and a poptart to eat. Both were great! I definitely want to visit their Tempe location as it's a bit closer to me.

burnt creme with oat milk (large)

Popped in here on a friday morning and it was fairly busy! Was greeted as I walked in and a kind gentleman asked me if I'd been in before and I let him know it was my first time. He walked me through their signature lattes and what they can do (they can pretty much do anything, even make your drink sweeter or less sweet depending on your preference!) Opted for an iced 'burnt creme' latte with oat milk. They have small or large for their sizes and they are greatly priced in my opinion. Before I knew it, my drink was ready as I grabbed an open seat near the cashier area. Lots of seating + few outlets if you want to bring your laptop and get some work done. The drink was perfect, had that strong coffee taste but that sweetness that balanced it all out. Sat there and enjoyed the music they were playing and relaxed. All of the staff were nice and had smiles! Bathrooms were clean as well! Lots of parking around them, would be great to meet up with friends or even a date! Will most definitely be back to try more of their menu + food items.

In Phoenix for business and happened to be staying in Tempe. Window Coffee Bar is almost literally across the street from my room rental but it took me three days to actually make it over there due to my working hours. The patience was worth it! Very welcoming space in an enormous lobby, and easy to access. Chairs, sofas, bartops, tables... the seating choices are endless. Well lit, with a security guard tucked away to keep watch. The menu is straightforward, all the expected coffee choices, and a more extensive food selection than I'd anticipated. I chose to combine the avocado toast and substitute the toast for an everything bagel. They asked if I'd like chili flakes on that and... of course! The cappuccino was excellent, with dense, stiff foam, deep flavor, and perfectly portioned. The avocado bagel was phenomenal, with good, chunky avocado, spread thick on a buttered and toasted bagel. Plenty enough to spread along both sides and have a bit left over. The flow of customers was steady and they worked through all of the orders quickly and efficiently... really could not ask for a better quick coffee breakfast experience.

A friend recently saw Window Coffee Bar featured on tv, so we went to try them. The employees are very friendly and patient. Ordered coffee and avocado toast with heirloom tomatoes and micro greens. The toast was delicious. Coffee even better. I tried their Aztec mocha and it was spot on. Not too sweet, and very satisfying. My friend tried their banana cream and it was even better. They had comfy seating inside and large patio too. Will be back to try more things. Highly recommend!!

Really friendly staff here. They greet you with a smile and gave you your drink with great energy. I wanted matcha latte and they've got two options. One regular (slightly sweet) and one ceremonial grade (unsweetened). I'm not fussy about matcha so I opted for the regular one which hits the spot. Black Americano is fine. It does the job! Spent around $11.5 for two large drinks which is a bit on the pricier side but it came in big cups!

AMAZING coffee (from a coffee snob)! I got banana cream with 3 shots and oat milk. It was delicious! The inside is very cute and clean, and the service is top tear. I'm from Seattle, so coffee is my life! I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in town.

Coffee shop with a drive thru that provides quick and friendly service. I ordered a large pistachio latte with oatmilk and it was good. The drink was well balanced and it included crushed pistachios in it. The pistachio flavor was pronounced but not overwhelming, and the coffee was strong. This is a good option for anyone in the area that needs to grab coffee and go without getting out of the car.

Cute cafe ! Love their pastries and the coffee was not bad. Their burnt cream latte was good but the ube taro latte was a bit watered down.

Amazing coffee and food and the atmosphere is perfect!! will definitely be returning :)

I was in Phoenix and made a stop here at the Window Coffee Bar. This is a nice coffee shop. Window Coffee Bar has a couple of locations in the Valley. This location off of Camelback has a drive-thru and looks like it was once a location for a bank. I enjoyed the décor with the neon sign and how inviting the place was when I walked in. I was salivating over the pastries behind the glass as I was ordering my latte and ended up getting one. The customer service was friendly. I ordered a Burnt Creme Latte and Fruit Danish and sat by the window so I could enjoy the view. I don't typically order flavored drinks, but the Burnt Creme Latte intrigued me. I wasn't too impressed by it but really enjoyed my pastry. Overall, I had a nice relaxing time here at Window Coffee and look forward to another visit.

Loved my first visit here! The space is modern, stylish, and had a great fall playlist that set the vibe. Even though it was busy, the cashier was super friendly and gave helpful recommendations. I ordered the avocado toast (amazing!) and their house-blend matcha latte--so good. I also grabbed a seat to get some laptop work done, and the free WiFi plus plenty of outlets made it super convenient. It does fill up quickly, so if you're planning to work here, I'd recommend showing up a little earlier. Now I totally see why this spot is such a favorite for both the food and the work-friendly atmosphere!

Cinnamon vanilla iced latte, heirloom tomato avocado toast and a bagel

We were in Phoenix for Mother's Day weekend and tried a couple different coffee places. This was hands down my fave. That iced cinnamon vanilla latte was one of the best coffees I've had ever. We also had a couple different avocado toasts and my son loved the churro donut. The staff was all so very friendly and at one point a guy walked around and handed all the mom's chocolate chip cookies for Mother's Day. Besides that being an extremely nice touch, it was one of the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had. Tasted so homemade and perfectly nostalgic. To top it off, I saw staff clean the bathrooms while we were there hanging out. I'm sad I don't live in Phoenix because I'd be here every day!

    Large chaga mushroom latte

Incredible vibes, friendly staff, unique yet amazing drinks. Not much more you could ask for from a coffee shop. I stopped by for the first time on a Sunday late afternoon looking for a pick-me up as I get some work done before the work-week starts the next day. They have a huge parking lot shared with an office in the same building, so if you enter through the side, make sure you don't walk into the other business' suite! Browsing their menu ahead of time, I was interested in their signature latte "Burnt Creme" as I'm usually a sweet coffee person. Upon entering, I saw signs for the "Chaga mushroom" which is an earthy-mocha tasting signature latte with 3/10 sweetness. I discussed with my barista my interest in the Burnt Creme, which I was told is 5/10 sweetness. Ultimately, the kind staff recommended adding burnt creme to my chaga latte to make it sweeter. They were also willing to revise/remake my latte if it ultimately didn't come out to my sweetness liking, which I found to be very accommodating especially to a first time customer like myself. The latte was like nothing I've ever had before. It was strong but sweet enough. I could taste both hints of earthy and burnt flavors, which paired very well together. I brought my laptop to do work for a few hours, which I was able to acheive with their free wifi and ample seating, efficiently using the relatively small space very well. The interior design is also calming but cool!!! Overall, I was very impressed with their unique and vast selection of drinks. I will definitely recommend this coffee shop to friends and be back to try more drinks, including the Lotus Energy, Burnt Creme by itself, Marshmellow, and Pistachio! Thank you Window Coffee Bar for taking such good care of me and my taste buds on this fine Sunday afternoon! Addendum: reading other reviews while writing mine, I was both surprised and not surprised that this place ranked 6th in the top 25 coffee shops in the nation per Yelp 2024. Everyone there had a laptop so I felt odd just relaxing. I'll bring my laptop and work on all my homework next time. It's quiet w a bit of easy listening music piping through. I chose a pour over coffee so it was $6 and not $4-450 like the menu coffee.

Shall we? + The space is charming, pastries' display impressive, staff seem intent, good location and vibe. - The prices, lack of a menu on display, and details. See below. Latte large requested cup and saucer and almond croissant. Inquired about quiche but did not look attractive sitting alone in plastic in a cooler. Poor thing. The Latte Latte well made, four shots. Alright, then. Good cup and saucer. Amen. Then asked about stirrers. Told to use a plastic spoon. Please tell me if anyone in France would ever stir a real hot coffee in a proper cup and saucer with a plastic utensil. Anyone? Right. Please offer wooden stirrers to guests and bonus points for a real spoon for those of us who don't want a paper cup. It really makes a difference. It would be criminal to use plastic. The (Sort Of) Almond Croissant An almond croissant is the secret test. It's like tasting vanilla at an ice cream store. Forget the others. This is the litmus. But before we talk almond, I had to do a double take on the receipt that thankfully I emailed myself. Because is this in Soho? West Hollywood? The Bay? How did this turn out to be $14? Because the almond croissant is $7. Say again. Never mind the best croissant spot in the West Village is less than that, but I took a bite, and oh my. I almost got up and said something. But I really was not in the mood. I had other things to attend to. Where do I start. Well, there was barely an almond to speak of. Hint of almond. The paste was like a disappearing act. But that I can handle. It was the texture. It was hard. Tasted old. Bland. Forgotten. Like someone forgot about the almonds, forgot them in the car. It was July 4th, and they remembered. I've had better croissants at airports. Ok, in the EU but you get the point. Did I just choose the wrong pastry, or the wrong day? They all looked pretty. Everyone got the berry thing. The Table My table was wobbly. Not awful but enough to be annoying. Between that and my phantom $7 almond croissant. The one left behind before someone remembered the almonds. That one. Can anyone use one of its cousins to hold up this table and fix this wobble? Might have been a better idea than breakfast. The Restroom Ok, cute idea to have a kitchen utensil as the restroom key. Nifty thought. Here's another. Can the liquid dispenser for soap be repaired or replaced? That too is wobbly and broken. You see the theme here. And dry hands. The (Bare) Display Case I had read about sandwiches. I love me an egg salad. The display case was bare. Maybe M-F? Lots of (plastic) pellegrinos. No Perrier or other sparkling in a real glass bottle. And definitely no Orangina. The Plants The plastic plants on each table. For the outdoors, sure. For an indoor French cafe table with $7 croissants, not so much. The theme again. The Staff They seemed stressed. I don't know why. When I ordered I felt more tension and rushed then a my corner pizza shop in NY. I don't get it. They tried though. Like it feels serious. High stakes. No smiles. All three not one smile. An Encore? Maybe. Overall, maybe. I don't know if I chose the wrong pastry and the wrong day. Could it be that. The Bread The bread looked good. I will give it that. And more expensive than my local bakery in NY. My Orwashers loaf purchased weekly is $12. And the slice it. And bigger. And they smile. But maybe if the bread is good, I am happy. It's hard to find good bread in Phoenix let alone this area. The Menu Please have it displayed somewhere with prices. Think that's a professional courtesy. I went online to see the menu from my phone. Or even a code to link. But something. A strange visit. Quite different than expected. I had hoped. Now I don't know. If anyone of the items mentioned are addressed for the next visit, whether the wobbly table, wooden stirrer or real spoon, or restroom soap, or even better a smile, or an almond more, I'd be vastly delighted. I'd love for this to work. There is time.
