That was until I posted this review on 1/19/21. I then received a response from her the very next day. Presumably, because of negative the review. This doesn't excuse the sixteen business day gap from the time I sent a question and received a response. I doubt I ever would have received a response if I had not posted a review. I am aware that the bureaus have additional time to process (30-45 days), but this doesn't negate that we didn't receive anything from the bureaus in close to four months. If I had not questioned it, we would have continued to spend some $150 dollars a month with LSI with no results. Original Post: I had a similar experience with LSI. I was working with Amber. They reach out once a month and go over the credit challenges I continued with the service during COVID but stopped receiving notifications from the credit bureaus. This went on for almost six months. We decided to stop our services in Dec since we weren't seeing any improvement. I told Amber to go ahead with the pull since they had just charged my card, but we would cancel next month. I was told that they couldn't because the bill for Dec that was just paid was for the previous month. When I emailed for an explanation (attached), they never responded. Additionally, I questioned how the credit challenges were submitted as it's a violation of FCRA for the bureaus not to provide a response. Amber was always pleasant via email, but when you spend $1200 for credit repair, you expect at least a response to an email.

Reaching out for help only to be put on hold for hours/have your calls disconnected/transferred to the wrong department--all for the privilege of conversing with the surly CSR in cardmember services who talks to you like you're a serial puppy killer for making a late payment. After about half an hour of getting nowhere with my credit card company, I was transferred to Clearpoint, and braced myself for more of the same. But it was nothing like what I'd anticipated. I got transferred around and spoke with a few different people, sure, but every single person I interacted with was just SO nice. Ridiculously nice. The kind of nice you can't even fake. The counselor working with me was really encouraging, professional, and treated me like a human. I'm not an evil villain, I'm not incompetent, I'm just a girl who came across some less than ideal circumstances. Being in debt is shitty. We know that. But still, what a breath of fresh air to be treated with dignity. Most importantly, I got squared away with a realistic plan to squash that debt, all my questions were answered, and the pros and cons of the debt management program were explained thoroughly. I actually felt happy when I got off the phone. Happy? Seriously? We talked about my stupid debt for an hour and I feel happy? The fees they charge are so minimal compared to the amount of service they provide, and I feel good supporting a local nonprofit. And I'll live happily ever after, having this ordeal finally taken care of. The end.

If you know nothing else about them, know that they are the ONLY HUD-approved credit-counseling agency in the state of Washington. To go elsewhere is to make oneself vulnerable to scams that will make you lose more than you've already lost, all to fill their heartless, greedy pockets. Out of work for not quite a year yet when I contacted them, I'd already spent through all my "retirement" savings (ha!) hoping to save my condo. Through a combination of credit-card purchases and cash advances, I was rapidly approaching the last of my credit limits when I called them. They bundled my credit-card debt into one (very) low-interest loan that they brokered my payments on, in exchange for a modest monthly handling fee (especially when compared to how much I'd have paid in interest with the Wall Street banks), all handled through monthly withdrawals from my checking account, which I was able to keep funded (modestly, but adequately) through some creative moves. With their help, I was able to sell the house, with enough equity (I realize not everyone's this lucky) to pay off my credit-card debt, a week or two before the foreclosure hounds would have come snarling at my door. Their attitude and service demonstrate compassion and a sincere willingness to help, and they are both responsive to requests for help and advice and proactively in touch when needed. They earned every penny of their fees, unlike the loan-shark interest I paid Big Banking before signing up for their Debt Management Program. I don't envy anyone the circumstances that brought me together with ClearPoint, but thank God that they were there and oh-so-helpful in my hour of need. If you're on the brink of possible financial disaster and hoping for a miracle, here's my advice: Wake up and get these guys on your side before it's too late to save anything. I haven't checked my credit score yet, but I feel sure that it's at the very least at or above average thanks to the ways ClearPoint knows how to hook its clients up. Call them while you still maintain some control over your future. They'll help make it better.

HOWEVER, when I tell you that these employees take disrespect to an entirely new level ... I have NEVER been spoken to the way I was on November 13. I had simply called to see if there was any way they could work with me for a lesser payment. I was told no and that my only option was to stop the payments but that would not stop my account from further collection activity. When I asked what that meant, I was not answered. I was then transferred to a man without any explanation. I explained to this man KIRKPATRICK that I needed the additional funds for some car issues. He proceeded to ask me what year my car was and then told me that my warranty should cover the work that was needed. He told me in such an abusive manner that neither he or APRIL believe anything I was saying. He ACTUALLY recommended that I reach out and ask my car loan if I can defer a payment so I said you know what since you don't believe me I will. I called my car company out of good faith and I indeed could not defer my payment. I called IQ Data back and said I wanted to make a statement on the recorded line and also told them I was recording them for my records. I told them that the way they speak to people is UNFATHOMABLE. I actually said that I hope this man doesn't have a family and that if he did, I pray that someone treats them the way he treats people. I was not ignoring the fact that I had agreed to paid .. I was merely praying that they would meet me in the middle but NOPE. This place should not be in business.

In addition, she disclosed my personal information to my lawyer without my consent. It's good that I had a witness with me - now I can sue for $ 1000 spent on poor quality services. But I did see results, results that eventually lead me to get approved for a $10,000 credit line ! I swear I'm not lying I actually got approved for a $10,000 credit limit with Discover !!! Ok so back to my experience while working with Jesse, Right from the start I noticed he was able to stop a new Collection from appearing on my credit report & that was great that I was able to communicate with him and tell him that I'm getting harassed by a small collector for the sum of $150, Jesse advise me not to respond to them, and as soon as it shows up on your CR I will work on it, so it showed up on my CR and then it disappeared I felt less than a month later. Ok now on to the Collections I already had on my CR,Comparing to the other stories in these reviews my credit was nowhere near as bad I only had 3 hospital Bills & 1 utility bill that showed up (paid )but still showed on my CR as derogatory Because When I paid it I was not aware that it was already in collection.... in which paying after Collection makes it 10 times harder to be removed & is still on my CR Today! So any way all together I only had about $1600 worth of bills in collection & they was mostly hospital bills, and it took a long time to get them off , I almost wanted to give up because I read on reviews everywhere that "Jesse removed My Collection for over $100,000" " and it only took three months" So i really got discouraged because my Collection accounts was stupid hospital bills for only $500 to $600 a piece & I only 3 but it was so difficult to get removed! It literally took a little over six months. But when they did get removed & I listened to Jesse's advice my credit score went from 580 to 700 ! TransUnion, 520 to 690 Experian 540 to 698 Equifax... So to end this Novel size review is Jesse has work magic for me it may have taken a little more time but everybody's CR and Collections are different. I paid for his services for exactly a year. And after a year, Jesse was able to knock off around $20k of collections off of each of the three credit bureaus!
