I reached out to Non stop plumbing because we moved into a new place that had been vacant for over 5 yrs. When we showered, the drain behind the washer overflowed. I spoke with Ruben and he was able to send some guys the same day with an early arrival window as well. I called him back to see what time they would arrive to see if I could take care of an errand first. I was able to do that and his crew came at the time they estimated which is amazing! It was so clogged and they even rinsed the driveway from all the debris that came out which is much appreciated. I've had Ruben at my house 3 times in recent months. Once to clear a drain, once because I had a suspected water leak, and finally for a full re-pipe. I didn't see many reviews here talking to a full re-pipe, or to the use of PEX, but they did that job for me. The install was scheduled easily, and the work was completed in a reasonable timeframe. No one wants to re-pipe. But that nagging anxiety of galvanized rupturing is finally gone. Best part, the price was extremely reasonable. My shower was not changing temperature and a previous plumber who came said the screws were worn and the lid wouldn't come off to replace the cartridge. A few highlights: - Out of all my inbounds, Ruben's message was direct, fast and helpful. Unlike everyone else asking to schedule a consultation, he went straight to suggesting he send a team out to try to remove the lid. Just real and showing he read my actual project details - AJ & Sean gave me an ETA call as requested and were able to get the lid off! I was surprised and they said cheekily - "well we're non stop plumbing" :) - Sean even went out his way to help me measure some cabinets I needed replaced - AJ noticed the toilet leaking and recommended fixing as well. Called before 8am and Ruben answered! Told him the issue we were having with the gas pressure and he explained what the issue could be because of the earthquake shutoff and that the fix could be easy. He asked me to send him some photos of the meter under the house and instead of waiting for him to answer and did the reset myself as it seemed straightforward and the issue was fixed. I needed to unclog a kitchen sink which I tried on my own (plunger, snake, etc) with no luck. I had a good experience with Non-Stop before so I called them. With no issues, AJ and Shawn quickly and efficiently cleaned the clog with a long snake. In addition, they saw a leak underneath the sink so they replaced the pipes and a corroded drainage pipe fixture which they replaced quickly. They cleaned up afterwards. My sewer was clogged, most likely from tree roots between my house and the mainline in the street. I posted a request for help on Yelp. Wow, I got several very prompt responses and quotes. Turns out Ruben at Non Stop Plumbing was Mr. Johnny on the spot as he was able to show up within minutes and gave me a reasonable quote over the phone. He got my sewer to drain with a rooter but he also took video of the pipe and showed me that the tree roots were invading at multiple joints in my 111 year old ceramic sewer line. He recommended Hydrojetting my entire line with his brand new hydrojet machine the next week, and he would not charge me for the rooting job, just the hydrojet. It took them about an additional hour to hydrojet the entire line, but the video of the pipe afterward showed that all significant roots have been removed. Ruben gave me a one year warranty and says in writing that he'll come back within a year to run the camera down the sewer to assess how clear the drain still is. read more

Our bathroom flooded on the night of New Year's Day. It was nearly 10pm and everyone else, it seems, was closed. Ruben answered the call right away and was at my house in 20 minutes. He fixed the immediate sewage blockage within 20-30 minutes, and explained that there may be a bigger problem in our plumbing. The next day, Ruben and his crew came and inspected and fixed--once and for all--the broken valve that was causing frequent blockage in the sewage line. They also did a thorough clean out of the line, AND installed access to the pipelines so they can be serviced in the future. No nonsense business that does the job efficiently and at a really competitive price. So my bathroom faucet had basically given up on me, so I bought new fixtures. Tried installing it myself, but gave up after removing just one of the levers (the other one I couldn't figure out due to being lame and not having the proper tools). I can't say enough great things about these guys. We found a leak in our washing machine drainage pipe which leads under the house, they took a look and told me that the pipe needs to be replaced. I was (as you'd expect) a little dubious at first - I asked all my questions and shared my concerns, and the Owner walked through each scenario patiently (even though I was at times not as patient as I should have been).
