I've been with Dr. Adelson for almost 2 years now which was off a referral, and he and his staff always goes out of there way to ensure that I am VERY well taken care of. This includes follow up phone calls, prompt replies to my messages, I was even able to contact his staff after hours in order to tend to my post-dental work needs. This was above and beyond their usual friendly email & appointment reminders. I've grown to know the Adelson team and they're more than just a good dental office. He replied, yes, your infection is getting worse and will continue to get worse. On his day off, he asked me to meet me at his office. Mind you, I hate going to the dentist... so much so by prolonging my visit... I now had a huge cavity that needed more than a mere filling. I acquiesced, because I was in so much pain and the aleve was not doing the trick this time. It turned out that I needed a root canal. OMGosh. One would think the root canal would hurt... it was the exact opposite... he put topical in my mouth to numb the side that was hurting and so he could go to work. I didn't feel a thing. I HEARD what he was doing... though, I didn't feel a thing and that was what was important. He gave me a script for amoxicillin and sent me on my way. The next day, the pain mildly came back... I called immediately (on a Saturday) and his response was it's okay... take some aleve and don't forget to schedule your next appointment to finish the root canal. By Saturday around 5p, didn't feel a thing in my mouth- the throbbing pain was gone and now on Tuesday morning.... feeling great... just need to schedule that appointment. ;) Seriously?! During a previous visit, I was told I had a cavity, but I later confirmed that this was not accurate. This raises serious concerns about possible misdiagnosis and unnecessary treatment being recommended. Recently, I returned and saw a different dentist. Instead of properly examining my condition, he relied on the previous notes and insisted that I needed a deep cleaning, quoting a significantly higher cost. This was suggested without a proper evaluation, which felt inappropriate and financially motivated. I was also clearly told that my insurance covers X-rays at no cost. However, I was unexpectedly charged $6 after my visit, even though I have had the same insurance for over 8 years with full coverage for X-rays. This lack of transparency is concerning. In addition, the front desk staff has been consistently rude and dismissive. I also felt that I was treated differently because of my accent, which made the experience uncomfortable and unprofessional. Overall, I cannot recommend this location due to concerns about billing practices, unnecessary procedures, and poor customer service

I obviously thought it was to get me in and then sell me everything under the moon. To my surprise when I got there they took a look and gave me a free cleaning prior to whitening since I had one over 6 months ago. I then explained that my other dentist had been pushing me to get a deep cleaning which is very expensive. Dr Dulay had my gum/teeth measured and took 4 xtray all free of cost. Instead of the expensive deep cleaning she said says lets do cleaning more often and see how it progesses and if needed only do the two areas instead of the entire mouth which my other dentist instisted upon.
