Where has this place been all my life?!!! I have previously avoided going to the dentist as much as possible because- let's face it- WHO actually LIKES going to the dentist?! Well, if you're going to Lifestyle Dentistry- you'll like it! Trust me. It feels more like a spa than a dentist's office. Everyone is so nice and warm. The assistants greeted me with such warmth as soon as I walked in. There's spa music playing. There's a calming, soothing energy about the place. It's impeccably clean. They even have inspirational quotes up. They explained everything to me step by step. They even provided detailed information about my teeth and payment, etc. The doctor was patient with me and answered all my questions. And let me tell you my FAVORITE part! (are you ready for this...) the exam chair that you sit in for your procedure is a MASSAGE CHAIR! During my cleaning, Dr. Nichols turned the lights down, put on some soothing music, and the chair was amazing. So aside from the fact that you have to lay there with your mouth wide open while someone is prying at your teeth- it feels like a spa day. I used a Groupon deal, so I got x-rays, cleaning, and fluoride for $53 (PLUS great education and consultation about my personal dental needs AND a back massage!). My one and only qualm (and this has nothing to do with the service) is that they aren't affiliated with any insurance company so when I come back without the Groupon, I'll have to pay upfront and then wait to get reimbursed. This is just personally scary for me BUT they did assure me that they are very helpful with this process. There's no way I'm ever going to any other dentist office besides this one. Yup. I haven't been to a dentist in a few years because of previous bad experiences. I initially sent my college age daughters and high school son to get their prospective of the office. They all were extremely pleased with their visits. So, I just left the office and this was hands down the best experience thus far! The level of professionalism and expertise is very evident. The condition of my teeth and gums were explained thoroughly by the dental assistant and the dentist throughout the visit, as was the process of what they were doing throughout. This is a hoax. Period. My judgment at first was unbiased so I purchased a Groupon to make my final decision instead of going by the yelp reviews. From the beginning, I left 2 voicemails attempting to make an appt, no one called back. So I tried again one last time before I requested a refund. Surprise, she answered! (Nice receptionist) that's why I gave it 2 stars. Location is ok. Lots of parking and lots of other small businesses, moving on, visit was seamless until it was time to clean my teeth! Fast forward, check-in was nice and the office space appeared very clean but empty.. I was escorted to a room and told to leave my pocketbook there while we go to another area for X-rays, ok.. then I went back to the room where I initially was. The chair has a massage .. added bonus.. the hygienists told me the condition on my teeth then the dentist cane in and took MORE pics and reiterated how bad my teeth were again., I knew that already ladies that's why I chose your office to start the process of healthy gums again. So then, I was led into yet another room and told to pay $979 because they could clean my teeth after all or provide the fluoride. I called my last dentist office and asked them is this right, of course it's not! Honor the Groupon please. I asked for the dentist because she disappeared.. again then when she came back she seemed annoyed and rushed?? I thought I had an appt during this time still?? Did I miss something? All in all, I received partial service! A $979 bill and I cried before I left asking for my money back. No didn't happen! After all.. Where do I begin? First, let me say I am the most anxious person imaginable when it comes to going to the dentist. That has completely changed when I thought that was impossible and it's all thanks to Dr. Nichols. We all know how painful Novocain is...well not at the hands of Dr. Nichols. I did not feel a thing!! Seriously, for someone who is phobic of the dentist office, that is life changing! The work I had done was entirely painless and for the first time I wasn't sore afterward either and I had gum tissue removed!! In addition, the level of skill and expertise Dr. Nichols has is incredible. I went in there two years ago for ortho and wanting the perfect smile. She assured me we wouldn't be done until I was completely happy. I left there yesterday for the first time, loving my smile!! I haven't been able to stop looking in the mirror! She really took her time and went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. She is very perfectionistic when it comes to her work aka your appearance and it shows. When you are having cosmetic dentistry done, you want someone with this level of attention to detail and that is extremely hard to find. Coming from a perfectionist myself, that is the highest compliment! In addition to all this, for two years I have come in about 15 minutes early for my every other week or so appointment. I have always been welcomed warmly with a smile and hug from beautiful Adrienne and beautiful Doc (yes, they are both stunning!). They have never once in two years kept me waiting and I feel like family when I'm walking in there...I can tell they are genuinely happy to see me. They have always accommodated my schedule and have always treated me with care and compassion. Doc listens intently to your thoughts and desires and will make sure you are happy no matter what it takes, including fighting for you with her providers (in my case Clear Correct). On a side note, I would not recommend Clear Correct at all...spend the extra and get Invisalign. I think Doc may have actually stopped partnering with Clear Correct now. Anyway, back to the office...they are always in a great mood and make it a super fun and relaxing like you are hanging with your best girlfriends. The environment is very zen with beautiful graphics on tv, calming music, great scents and a massaging chair. Coming from someone who has always been panicked just to get a simple cleaning and who is very picky when it comes to her appearance, take it from me...you'll never find a better dentist, orthodontist or dental office. I found the office by through Groupon- I was new to the area, looking for a regular dentist and pay out of pocket for dental work. I am so glad I took a chance on Lifestyle Dentistry, really a pleasant experience- they have light spa/elevator music playing (instead of blaring daytime television as many doctor.'s offices seem to prefer), the staff were knowledgeable/polite/friendly and helpful, the assistant turned off the overhead lights for my cleaning and just used the dental spotlight during my exam/cleaning, and they even had a light kneading back massage chair for the duration of the exam! The doctor and her assistant were really lovely, helpful in explaining how I can maintain/improve my dental health and gentle with my teeth during the xrays/exam/cleaning. Lifestyle Dentistry was also upfront/transparent regarding all costs of the exam/fluoride/xray etc. and with regard to costs for follow-up cavity fillings I need, which I really appreciated- surprise billing and add-ons are the worst! The facilities are clean, the front desk staff were pleasant and un-hurried, I had zero wait after completing my paperwork... again really just as good as it gets- I wish more medical practices followed their business example, what is usually a routine task at best was actually pleasant and made me feel I was being responsible in picking a quality dentistry practice for myself and my teeth!
