Drafty, Drafty, Drafty! I am so disappointed at how poorly my new Lifetime Windows perform. The windows cost $9500. After saving up for years to get new windows, I never expected this poor quality or poor installation. I would strongly recommend NOT to BUY these windows from Lifetime! I had 2 separate BPI certified energy auditors review my windows. I did a home energy audit with infrared photos in November 2019 by e3Power and in January 2020 a building analyst, by the Building Performance Institute evaluated my windows. Both agreed, they had "a lot" of air leakage and additional issues. Here is my experience: August 2019 Installation - the install was extremely quick in my opinion without attention to detail. They installed 10 windows in 90 minutes. There were 4 installers and a supervisor. One window was missing a screen and they said I would get that within a few weeks. I never got it and had to request it 3 different times. I got the screen 4 months later. By this time, the weather was changing, and I am noticing a handful of issues happening. I have pictures, infrared photos and video. Video is to large to load on this site. 1. I have DRAFTS coming from every window. Lifetime came out to address my issues on 12/11/19 and informed me some of my "new" windows where warped, some didn't have the right insulation on them, my siding was cut and then not caulked so air was coming in, other windows had play to them when locked and other issues. There is air leaking in the tracks and in the corners around the frames of every window and its winter and I am freezing! I keep my blinds closed to try to keep the cold air out. These are worse than my 18-year-old windows. They also said Anlin (the manufacturer) would contact me for feedback, but I never heard from them. I would like to just return these windows and get something of quality that will last. These windows are only 5 months old. Very frustrating and upsetting!!! Lifetime came out a second time with the new sashes and 2 of the 3 replacements were the wrong size, they then found out none of my windows had been insulated with foam around them - not sure why they didn't check that the first time they came out?? 2. I have had a thin sheet of ice form on the outside of some of the windows measuring 14"x6". Like what you get on a single pane window of a car in the winter. Lifetime said that was normal. 3. Water coming in the inside tracks after a rain storm - more than a few drops. Lifetime said that was normal. 4. Water condensation and ICE build up on the "inside" of some of the windows. Lifetime said that was normal. 5. Lifetime said there would be 50% less noise and there is maybe a 20% reduction. 6. There has been a lot of water condensation at times on the outside of some of the windows covering most of the window. Lifetime said that was normal. 7. On a few of the windows you can actually hear the outside wind whistling through the corners of the window, like the window is cracked open, but it's not! I can see maybe one or two small issues on windows, but I have so many issues on these, it has been so stressful after investing this much money and ending up with drafts in every room. I am a big believer that reviews help consumers make good choices. I hope this is helpful to you. Hoping Lifetime will correct, replace or refund me so I can get quality windows that last for at least 15 years. read more

We purchased our home in July of last year and we knew that one of the first projects was going to be new windows. The house was built in 1938 and the current windows appeared to be original (steel frame, single pane). A few months after moving in, we began to get quotes from a variety of window vendors. Unfortunately, all of the quotes we got back were 50% to 100% more than we had planned on spending on this project, so we decided to postpone and focus on other projects. This past summer, we decided to revisit the project and began looking into costs again. Like before, we began getting quotes that were considerably higher than we wanted to spend, but this time we were fortunate to come across Lifetime Windows. Dave came out and went through each room with us, asking what we were looking for and giving suggestions based on our budget and design aesthetic--no hard sales pitch and was in and out in under an hour and we had a quote that we were happy with--one other company spent over 2 hours at our house. Fast forward 2 months, and the team at Lifetime Windows was back out to our home with our new windows. Two days later, our windows were installed and we couldn't be happier with the look and improved efficiency! In fact, the first day after they were installed, we had to turn the thermostat down 2º because our 2 year olds room was uncomfortably warm! There were a few minor issues with the install, but Anthony came out, listened to each issue that we wanted resolved, and had one of his guys out the next day to fix. All-in-all, we are extremely happy with both our windows and the experience with Lifetime and have already referred them to two different friends who were looking for new windows (one of whom has also hired Lifetime to do their windows!) read more

Once again, my review has not been approved. Yelp - shame on you for not recommending real reviews from real customers. Not sure why this company has bad reviews, and frankly, I'm surprised to hear they are being so aggressive with their marketing. This was not my experience at all! Let's be clear....I'm not an easy person to please when it comes to home improvement and any such project. I did ALOT of research and met with several different companies to compare shop. The guys at Lifetime Windows and Siding impressed my husband and me from the first time we met them. While I was skeptical at just the sales pitch, as I wanted to really see what the job looked like, they offered me many homes to drive by and I was also able to have direct access to the owner for my many questions! The new Hardie siding on our house looks beautiful and I was there every step of the way when the job was getting done. Jason answered all my questions and was here when he needed to be with the crew. His follow up and attention to detail helped relieve some of my anxiety of getting the job done right. We also proceeded to have them replace a few of our windows after our siding was done. We are very pleased! The best part is that I know if I have any problems, I can call them and they will help. Their warranty is solid and I think they take pride on their work. Many people have commented on how nice our home looks. They also have said Hardie is the way to go! The companies who sell vinyl were trying to convince my Hardie wasn't good and I'm glad I went with my research and gut. read more

I just moved into my house 3 months ago, and had problems with the windows from the beginning: cracks, leaks, etc. Needless to say, replacing a bunch of windows wasn't really in the game plan, and I wasn't looking forward to the hassle or expense. A representative of Lifetime happened to be in the neighborhood when I was thinking about moving forward on the windows, and I couldn't be happier with how things fell into place. Their rep took the time to talk to me about various window designs and how things are priced, and answered all of my questions. Once I agreed to go with them, things went far faster than I expected. The windows are all custom ordered, and after the measurements were taken I expected it to be 2 or 3 weeks - it turned out being 1 week. The installers came out, and within 6 hours I had all new windows on my 2nd floor. The next day a rain storm hit, and where I would've needed to use a beach towel to soak up the flooding in my old window track - there was nothing! Home Improvement companies usually promise a lot and don't usually deliver, and then give excuses. This company made promises and then surpassed them. Great service, both in the office and in the home, and a very good finance plan if you can't pay for the whole service at once. I definitely plan on using these guys when I replace the other windows in this house. read more

I would not hesitate to recommend Lifetime Windows and Siding. I contracted with them in 2020 for a windows effort and a large invoked James Hardie siding project. The windows are beautiful. The siding is a top notch job. I did their super wall project and we went from R11 to R20! When the Calwood fire erupted in Oct 2020 we were evacuated. We could see the flames! We felt most pleased that our house was as safe as possible thanks to siding and mitigation. Windows: I've had some wind penetration on my heavy laminated sliding door and Lifetime has come out several times. The manufacturer very recently improved the interlock and Lifetime sent a senior tech Anthony to my home. Through several visits I got to know Anthony. Each visit we got closer to the goal - no drafts. I live in a wind tunnel and 30-50 mph is common and 70+ is visited a few days a year. Anthony is a no compromise tech and I like that about him. If he couldn't fix it perfectly he told me he'd be back. And he meant it. Others might be content with minimal, not Anthony. He is a talented tech that helps Lifetime satisfy customers when things need service. I'm a perfectionist and Anthony is helping me reach the best the windows can offer. Based on Lifetime's service record they get my top recommendation! I would do business with them again!! read more

If only I could give Lifetime Windows and Siding a 6th star! Where to start... First of all, to have such an enjoyable experience buying new James Hardie Siding and Marvin Infinity Fiberglass windows was an experience I didn't expect to have! I'm not sure what Lifetime is paying David Thomas but I know it's not enough. To have a sales manager pay such careful attention to my needs and wants is something I haven't experienced in the remodeling industry. As a business owner for many years now, I know when I'm being sold a bill of goods and when I'm being given a run for the money. Dealing with Lifetime was different. I really felt like I was being heard and being treated with respect throughout the entire process. I had no idea what the process of installing new siding or windows would look like or had any clue as to how much it would cost. I was a little hesitant to hire a company for such a large ticket item for that reason. As I learned more about Lifetime and as Dave explained in detail the process involved and what I could expect I was quickly comfortable moving forward with them. The install was completed on time and I couldn't be happier with the final result. I'd say I will be a returning customer but they offer a lifetime warranty! HIRE LIFETIME!! We needed to replace the old dryvit on the second story all around the house because woodpeckers had attacked. I called 3 contractors from the James Hardie Siding website. I got a call from 2 of them right away and Lifetime was one of them. I had interviewed the second company first. Nice enough salesperson but price seemed a bit high. Dave came over next, from Lifetime. Very knowledgeable and yes he comes on strong, but in the end his guaranteed pricing and scheduling availability worked for us. In fact, the first company never emailed me back regarding my questions and the 3rd company told me my job was too small for them to even bother, go figure. Tim, the supervisor was very prompt and personable. Got us scheduled even faster than we expected. Javier is the onsite lead installer and he is a perfectionist. Very nice guy and great to have on the job each day, just as promised. There was far more attention to detail on this job then I had expected and it looks fabulous. The dryvit was a nightmare to remove, but there wasn't a trace of it left. We are so happy with the outcome. We highly recommend Lifetime and their crew. read more

I wanted to let people know about the positive experience we had with Lifetime Windows and Siding. My husband and I were not "looking" to have our siding done (even though we needed it), but I was approached in Wal-Mart about this company and could they have someone come out and give and estimate. We had two other companies come out a couple years ago and the quote from Lifetime was about the same; however, the product was so much better along with the assurance of competent installers. There was never any pressure to buy either! From start to finish, Lifetime was prompt, professional, had great communication to make sure we were happy all the way through and provided us with an incredibly beautiful home! We chose the insulated siding and the color is perfect and you could tell that the installers knew what they were doing and worked their tails off! I love my "new" home and shutters! We chose Lifetime Windows & Siding to replace our 54 year old siding. Dee Baumgartner got us started choosing the materials, JamesHardie and getting our loan set up. Max Baumgartner did digital pictures of various colors so we could make the best color choice which was extremely helpful. Rebecca McMillen worked with us on scheduling the project and directed calls when we had questions. The crew who did the work were excellent: efficient, cleaned up EVERY evening before they left, considerate, superb craftsmanship! Jason VanRemortel, project manager, stayed in touch with progress updates and resolved issues immediately as needed. Dee Baumgartner scheduled a painter, Raul, to get our porch colors to match the siding colors. Gutter crew was fast and made some changes for the better in directions of our gutters. Several neighbors stopped by to express their admiration of the workers and the final outcome. All around, Lifetime Windows & Siding is very customer service oriented. We couldn't be happier with the windows we had installed by LifeTime Windows. We had 18 windows replaced last June and July (2013). The difference has been night and day. The house use to be drafty, cold and dusty. With the new windows installed by LifeTime, there are no more drafts. The house is warmer. The migration of dust from the outside is now almost nonexistent. The installation was quick and efficient. The crew was professional and experienced. The quote included two eyebrow windows that turned out to be an odd shape. While these were special built and they took a little longer to get, we were not charged any extra above the contract. Due to these eyebrow windows the project extended longer than originally expected but the results were worth the wait. LifeTime's office staff always kept us informed of the status of our order and the status of the install. There were no add ons to the original contract. We got the superior quality windows we wanted, at a price within the budget we had allowed and installed in the time frame we wanted. read more

We have worked with Lifetime several times over the last few years in replacing all our windows, a sliding glass door, and most recently our siding and soffits. Everyone we have worked with at Lifetime over the phone and in person has been friendly, professional and very helpful. There are sometimes issues with construction projects but I have been highly impressed with the professionalism of Lifetime employees and their dedication to their customers. Any questions we had were thoroughly addressed. Kim installed our siding and soffits and was meticulous in his work! We couldn't be happier with his attention to detail! I had a great experience with everyone who I worked with at Lifetime. Our first point of contact was their Sales Rep. Shon who was very proud to describe all of the great features of their windows. Next was Mike who efficiently measured all of the windows. After ordering the windows, Rebecca kept us updated as to the manufacturing schedule and contacted us to schedule the install when they arrived. Next, the installation crew led by Jaime was able to tear out and replace all of our windows in 3 days. Jaime's crew started early in the morning and worked late until 7:00-8:00 at night to ensure that the install lasted only 3 days. Lastly the install managers Lonnie and Cannon came out to the house periodically to ensure that the install was proceeding smoothly. We can already tell that the heat coming in from the sun and the outside noise are much less with this higher grade of window. We had multiple bids and estimates for a large window replacement project. We replaced 32 windows and a sliding door on a large home originally built (not as well as it should have been) in 1986. Lifetime was simply terrific. Greg came out and showed us several products and gave us all the information we needed as well as a great price. The installation went flawlessly and our windows look fantastic. We can actually see through windows again. What a concept! I must say I was a little skeptical on the claims of more energy efficiency. However, I can say that our A/C clearly does not work near as hard as it used to. It used to be that it would hardly ever stop running, if ever. Now, both units regularly cycle off, telling me that the windows truly do help keep the house cooler. Also, the smoothness of the operation is really appreciated. Overall, we could not be happier with the product and with Lifetime's installation. read more

I had almost all of the windows in my house redone about 15 months ago. Everyone I dealt with from Lifetime was professional and courteous. The girl that handled came out for the estimate and handled the project management was sweet and straight shooting. She helped me decide what was best for my house and budget and didn't try to sell me on a more expensive product just so she could make a commission. The guys that did the actual install showed up on time and spent the entire day working their butts off to make sure I had windows in before night came. They were laughing and joking even though my old steel windows were a serious pain to remove and took them about three times longer than expected to get out. In the year plus since the windows were installed, we have had zero issues, and I still smile every time I look at my pretty new windows. We love Lifetime Windows. This was the 2nd time getting windows replaced by Lifetime so we knew the drill ahead of time. Our first time they replaced all of the windows and a sliding glass door to our home before we sold it. They were the best price by far, and did an amazing job with install. Everyone was respectful of our home, cleaned up after themselves, and the amazing were beautiful. After moving into our new home, we needed some very large windows replaced. Dee came in and helped alleviate the amount of windows needed by making the windows larger. I can't say enough home much we absolutely love our new windows. Our home is warmer, the windows are beautiful, and I always have our curtains open now. The crew that installed was fantastic! We had the original 1957 aluminum windows in our brick and block home. We contacted Lifetime windows after contacting multiple window company's and the Lifetime window products far surpassed the competition in quality and price. Working with this company was a pleasant experience from the original sales call to the finish of our installation. All of our questions and concerns were answered quickly and professionally. The installers were extremely prompt and took care of removing our old windows and installing our new Lifetime windows. We have had our windows now for approximately 4 years and they have been problem free. The Lifetime windows also helped us lower our heating and cooling bills during our hot and cold Colorado weather. I was tired of expensive painting and the old exterior look of my home in Westminster, CO. I have a beautiful view of mountains and local nature, but on the other side of my back fence is a busy, 6 lane boulevard and much traffic noise. Lifetime installed Hardie Siding and triple pane windows throughout my home. It totally changed the exterior look and has eliminated the outside traffic noise. At worst, when a big truck passes by, I hear a small rumble. Recently, there was a heavy wet snow storm with over 2 feet of snow on my roof. The heavy snow and ice came down quickly from my solar panels and damaged my gutters and fascia. I called Lifetime and they came and repaired it like new as well as small modifications to make it more secure so it will not happen again. All was covered under their warrantee at no expense to me. read more

Over the past five years we have been replacing the approximately 35 windows in our 27-year-old house. We've interviewed 4 contractors and employed two of them, including Lifetime Windows and Siding. We are very pleased with all aspects of our experience with Lifetime Windows and Siding. Rory was our representative and he walked us through the process at our first meeting and they performed exactly as he briefed. We went with Marvin Infinity windows as these have been very good for us in other locations in the house and the installers did an excellent job of installing the new windows with new trim. The installers were careful to leave their work areas clean and avoided damage.
