Although the genera environment was clean and comfortable, the service was severely lacking. I was seated and asked for a few minutes to look over the drink menu. I then tried for almost 30 minutes to get a drink, but was passed over by multiple waitresses. When one finally came over she told me that I needed to order a drink because there was a minimum. Every time i happen to want a lychee martini this is it. They always make it on point- they add the real lychee fruit on the stick! Doesn't taste like vodka AT ALL, tastes like straight lychee and it hits the spot! It gets very busy due to tourists, ect and if you happen to get a seat here + your friend at the bar seating it's really a miracle. Prices are strip prices, of course more expensive than us locals are used to however it's doable. Usually a Martini rounds up to $20 each with tip which is not the cheapest but not the most expensive especially being due at the fact that they have the best lychee martini's i have EVER tasted and gets the job done.. I have been to this bar several times over the years, usually while in town for a conference. It's a great set up, lots of seating. The staff is very hit and miss. I find the bartenders really good, friendly and know how to make a drink. The waitresses are very slow, mostly unattentive. It's like they don't really care. I will avoid mentioning one in particular by name. Anyway, I recommend ordering your drink from the bar, then go find a seat. I do enjoy the live music they have in the evenings. After eating dinner nearby, we stopped at the lift bar for some drinks and to relax. I ordered a Daybreaker, which was like an old fashioned with a chocolate twist. It was very strong, and really good. I ended up ordering a cigar off their menu and another Daybreaker and enjoyed relaxing. I do like the fact that they've got cigars of varying strengths, as I tend to like a milder cigar, which they had. The service was really slow after the first drink, as it seemed that they didn't really have enough staff working for all of the patrons. I ended up smoking half of my cigar while waiting for my second drink to arrive, which wasn't great, but the waitress was a bit apologetic. If you look at the photo, the orange peel was actually from an orange slice, which the bartender cut the meat off. Honestly, if this drink wasn't over $17 I would have just let it go. Another horrible experience at Aria lift bar. Had been here before and the bartenders were kind of stand offish. Thought it was a one off so came back of new years and had a horrible time. The bartenders were rude and dismissive. People were sitting at the bar top and weren't gambling even though the screen say reserved for players and the bartenders weren't doing anything about. However, the bartenders wouldn't let me and my friend rotate sharing the only available machine. Weird they would say something to us but not the people next to us for not even gambling when the screens clearly say reserved. Finally we left because the bartenders were being rude. We had left to cash out. Realized we left our food bag at the bar and came back (not even 5 minutes) and when we come back they said that had already thrown the food away. This is basically the lobby bar at the Aria. It's got bar seating (with gaming) and then little lounge tables and seating too. It's a big gathering place for folks coming out of nearby conventions. So some times it's nearly empty. Other times you can't even squeeze in anywhere. Frank is an awesome bartender! He always took care of us. We got the channel we wanted on the TV. I like this little bar/lounge area. There are comfy seats, ottomans, and its a fun atmosphere. Of course, there is live music, so I'm all about it! Some reviews I read said it can be a challenge to get service, but I did not encounter that. It's friday night, and my drink has remained replenished! The servers were friendly with me, and I did not encounter anybody rude. Yes, it is a bit smokey, but lets be honest, it's a bar! I expect that when I go into a casino/bar. If you dont want to be around the smoke (thats ok too!) There is another bar a little more open with less smoke just on the other side. For what it is I say it's great but the service is slow even though not many people were there. I ordered a couple different drinks and one was a hit but the other was a strong miss. This bar gets super busy. It will take a while before you get served sometimes. Drinks are very expensive, I find. There's a live band from time to time and that great if you're a fan but we moved to High Limit Lounge to find peace and quiet after because the band was not that great and too loud. read more

We stay at the Aria every Thanksgiving week for 7 days and enjoy this lounge at least every night for cigars and martinis plus a few times during the day. The drinks are always AMAZING especially if Mike is working bar. We do enjoy cigars and the ventilation here is the best! The servers, especially our "Niece" Raquel is beyond awesome but all the other regulars like Thea, Maria, Chloé and Cori are fantastic! Our regular lounge assistant Dorena is always on top of everything and fresh ashtrays for our cigars. Easily our favorite lounge with live music most nights and the best place to people watch! read more

What an awesome place to start your day or to have a wind-down cocktail after a long night. Do yourself a favor and skip the long lines at the coffee places in the morning and plop your butt at the bar to have a really good cup of 'jo and if the mood strikes you, add a shot of Irish cream to make it a happy coffee. Not gonna lie, 3 stars is right on the nose. I've only ever had good service here at the bar, and the servers are great about getting you water if you're winding down from your drinks and you go up and ask, but otherwise if you're sitting in the seats you're going to have to fight to flag down someone's attention. The main reason I give fewer than 4 or 5 is that the smoke here is unbearable compared to the Lobby Bar just down the way. IMO you get much faster service there and I don't feel like I've lost a year of my life inhaling other people's smoke. It is what it is. If it's where your people are at, there are solid drinks. Wow. I read most of the bad reviews. We spent two consecutive nights here and we had fun! The second one was a longer stay because it was our last night in Vegas and it was just a few steps away from the Aria hotel elevator so getting back to our room drunk won't be a problem. The ambience was lively and cozy. The band played medleys of RnB,pop,classic and alternative rock music. As the night went on,more happy groups came and we noticed same people from the other bars in Aria and from the convention center dinner. So we all did high fives! I mean we were around friendly and positive vibes,what can I say but great things. So the service. These guys were the best! We were at the bar and we were treated like VIPs. The boyfriend asked for Pisco Sour(unfortunately they do not make it) but instead he mixed us El Diablo,still good and sour. We had all sorts of cocktails and they were all strong.
