New tiki inside the Excalibur. Decent size. Gambling at the bar. Frozen drinks and mixed drinks. Plenty of seats but for some reason no waitress? It was 4pm on a Friday. We had to move to the bar to get served. Bartender wasnt super friendly. I went with a miami vice and it was tasty. The music... not the jame I want at tiki. Overall though good addition to the Excalibur.

If it's not happy hour, I'd rather tik myself elsewhere next time. The Tiki Bar is a new beverage-only establishment at Excalibur Hotel & Casino. I went along with a tiki-enthusiast friend from out of town to check it out after dinner. Apparently there were enough signs for him to navigate us there, but if you're entering from the pedestrian bridge from New York-New York, just hug the right wall and you should be good. I was concerned early on when my buddy tried to ask for a Chi Chi, which is basically a Piña Colada but with vodka instead of rum, and they just wouldn't do it since they have their preset cocktail menus and no way to charge for customizations on their point of sale. He ended up ordering Howler Whip, which comes with bourbon and pineapple whip, subbed out the bourbon for vodka, and called it good enough. And then when that (and my other friend's whip-containing drink) came out, the whip was not mixed with the drink and the server didn't say anything about stirring, which just seemed weird as you can start off with a mouthful of booze and little else. I simply ordered the Rum Punch ($18.00), a blend of three rums and three citrus juices. The macaw mug was cute, but the drink wasn't great. Admittedly, I don't have experience with this cocktail in particular, but I have definitely had richer, more cohesive cocktails. The coconut from the Malibu rum was prominent early but seemed to vanish later, suggesting to me that they didn't mix the drink properly. On top of that, the flavor was just light for most of the time. If you can get these things for $8.00 at the daily 5pm-7pm happy hour, then they're actually not that bad for a cocktail on the Strip. But I'm definitely not planning to order these for full price in the future if I should end up at The Tiki Bar again. And by the way, they need to turn the volume down a notch, the bass down three notches, and consider playing actual tiki-like music instead of just some mishmash of older songs.

Eh, it's OK for a stop for a break if you're at the Excalibur. The drinks were trash unfortunately. My coconut margarita tasted like a 7-Up with coconut flavoring thrown in. Mr B's mai tai tasted like straight fruit juice with cheap rum. Super disappointing. The service was great, and the video draw poker was fun. The theming ambiance is cute in a kitchy way. Only recommend going between 5-7p for $8 cocktails if you're desperate. The Tiki Bar is not Tiki, it's more "Taki." (Tacky that is)

Cute new bar in the Excalibur! I'd call it more of a tiki-themed lounge instead of a full-on "Tiki Bar" but tomato tomahto. My favorite part is they currently have happy hour daily 5-7pm, with Specialty Cocktails only $8! The drinks were fun and tasty. The interior was cute and comfortable with nice nautical lighting. Plenty of seating in the lounge area, nice big stage - hopefully they'll start doing shows or karaoke (since this used to be a karaoke bar)? I think we maybe arrived during a shift change because it took awhile for the bartenders to come out away from a corner where they were congregating. And then it did take a bit to make the drinks but hey, it happens, it's a new bar with lots of new drinks to learn. Enjoyed this spot overall and would recommend to those who are already in the Excalibur & vicinity and want a fun tropical drink but probably not worth going way out of your way for.

I love tiki bars but this is not one of them. They say it's a "tiki bar" but the ambiance is mid. The drinks aren't good. The only thing they have going for them is the Dole Whip. I liked the old bar better. Service was fine.

Stopped in here around 2pm for drinks and took a bit for the bartender to come over. While the casino was bustling, it was very quiet at the bar. The bartender ended up being friendly but I thought the drinks were very average. The flavor profile was not distinct and on the verge of being bland. They were smaller than it seemed they would've been and no fancy glasses like shown on the menu for whatever reason. Also wanted to try the flight and was told they weren't making them that day? We tried the rum punch, coconut margarita and mai tai...there was just no wow factor and quite honestly for the money per drink, you'd get a better drink at a casino bar (even comped).

This place is meh. Didn't order any food but the drinks were ok and the live band was meh. The service was also not great. There is a dance floor but it's also meh.

Kitschy but fun! Drinks were good, as were the happy hour prices. Our server was... "unenthusiastic."

    Decor

We gave this new tiki bar a try. We liked the decor! There were cute hanging tiki lamps throughout. The bartender was friendly. They only comp very cheap drinks when you're playing at the bar, not the tiki drinks. I had the Painkiller and it was okay. More like Golden Tiki than Frankie's because it had a ton of ice.

Cool vibe here at the Tiki Bar. It's located inside Excalibur. Great decor and great drink collection. We went at happy hour and the prices were pretty good. Bartender was super helpful and got us started on some kool drinks. We met some friends here played video poker then left but we will be back !

We love our Tiki bars and this place just opened 2 weeks ago inside Excalibur so had to stop by. Cute interior with live music at night. Crystal our bartender was friendly and made a great cocktail. #Tikitriathlon continues dining, drinking & shopping. Not sure I would call this a Tiki Bar more a Tropical inspired Casino Bar. No Swizzle Sticks & no mugs !!

In…read morethe past, I've popped in on a whim whenever I was in the mood for something fun and different. As someone who loves all things quirky and unusual, The Golden Tiki has always been right up my alley. When a friend came into town and wanted to celebrate her boyfriend's birthday, I thought it would be the perfect place to kick off our evening. I was able to make an online reservation just a couple of days in advance, which was quick and painless. What I didn't realize was that they offer a weekday happy hour and live music! We were seated in "Bull***t Corner," which turned out to be the perfect spot. We had a great view of both the bar and the entertainment, making for a lively and entertaining atmosphere. Also, can't forget to mention the service. The hosts were fun but our actual server was absolutely hysterical and fit right in with the fun. She kept us laughing throughout our visit, while also being incredibly attentive. Despite the busy atmosphere, she made sure our drinks were flowing, checked on us regularly, and made sure everything was taken care of. It's not often you find someone who can be both entertaining and genuinely great at their job, but she pulled it off effortlessly. Our guests were genuinely impressed, and everyone had a fantastic time. The drinks were excellent as always--I honestly don't think I've ever had a bad cocktail here. I haven't had the chance to try their food yet, and we decided to stick with a few drinks since we already had dinner reservations elsewhere, but after this visit, I definitely plan on coming back on a weeknight to order from the food menu. If you're looking for a fun, unique Vegas experience with great drinks, and plenty of personality, The Golden Tiki is always a solid choice.

While both locations serve incredible Detroit-style pizza, they each have their own personality. Gray Witch has this cool, witchy, slightly punk-rock vibe, while Red Dwarf leans into a quirky, eclectic tiki-bar atmosphere that's unlike anywhere else in Vegas. The space is surprisingly roomy inside, with plenty of character and a fun atmosphere. The service was friendly, fast, and welcoming from start to finish. One thing I always notice is cleanliness, and while the bathroom is small, it was spotless--which honestly goes a long way for me. They also have a great beer selection, a full bar, and a refreshingly straightforward menu. I appreciate when restaurants focus on doing a handful of things really well instead of trying to do everything. We ordered the White Pie and the Meatsa Meatsa, and I was genuinely shocked when they arrived. Coming from Gray Witch, where I've only had pizza that comes with two slices for roughly $15, I wasn't expecting full Detroit-style pans with six slices each. At around $19 for an entire pizza, the value is fantastic. The standout was absolutely the Meatsa Meatsa. It was phenomenal--loaded with flavor without feeling heavy. The White Pie was also very good, just a little lighter and more subtle. Honestly, it may have suffered from being compared directly to how incredible the Meatsa Meatsa was. I kept feeling like it was missing one little thing, but I'd happily order it again. One thing I love about their Detroit-style pizza is how light, fluffy, and airy it is. In photos, these pizzas look dense and heavy, but they're surprisingly easy to eat. The texture is spot on. I also love that you can build your own pizza, and after looking around, the wings caught my eye as well. I didn't try them this visit, but they looked fantastic and are definitely on the list for next time. I'm also already planning a return trip to try the pineapple pie. Nothing but great things to say about Red Dwarf. Great pizza, great service, great value, and a unique atmosphere that makes the experience memorable. Vegas has a lot of pizza options, but both Red Dwarf and Gray Witch have managed to create something special. They share the same foundation of outstanding Detroit-style pizza, but each has its own distinct identity. Red Dwarf delivers a fun, eclectic tiki-bar experience with incredible pizza, while Gray Witch brings a quirky, witchy, punk-rock energy all its own. They're different, but they complement each other perfectly. Can't wait to come back and keep working my way through both the pizza menu and the drink list.
