This was converted from "The Lounge" to the Tiki bar in late 2025. Since this was such an innovation, i absolutely had to try it out. Walking in you immediately know they've done it right because theres everything from bamboo & thatch accents, tiki barware, masks, ambient lanterns, and like most tiki themed places Classic mid-century or retro tropical movies on TVs. The great news is that this venue can compete with all other tiki bars in town. The best is Happy hour 5p-7P where all the drinks on the menu (Except for the large $45 Blue Hawaiian) are only $8. This is THE BEST Tiki Bar that is located in Excalibur!! We came here many times during our vacation. Honestly I wanted to go one more time but We fell asleep and didn't make it . I did stop by on my recent Vegas trip. It happened to be during their happy hour. The drink I tried was the Coco D'Banana. I am not a fan of Campari, but you really didn't notice the flavor in the drink at all - Banana and a bit of coconut were the predominate falvors I would warn that the glass is completely filled with crushed ice, then the drink is poured into it. The amount of fluid you get, probably a little more than a shot, and then you are left with all the ice. during happy hour, drink prices were 50% off - so not bad for strip prices, but if I had paid $20 for a shot, that would be a different story There was 1 waitress for the entire space, and it looked like 1 bartender - so you might experience a bit of a wait read more

I don't normally give 3 star reviews, and tbh i'd place is not bad but there are definitely other better Tiki Bar options in Vegas. I wouldn't even really consider this place a bar, it's absolutely more of a lounge. The drinks were good & responsibly priced. Each tiki drink was around 16-19 dollars. Our server was super sweet & attentive. She made recommendations which I always love! Outside of that, it just felt, alright? If it's not happy hour, I'd rather tik myself elsewhere next time. The Tiki Bar is a new beverage-only establishment at Excalibur Hotel & Casino. I went along with a tiki-enthusiast friend from out of town to check it out after dinner. Apparently there were enough signs for him to navigate us there, but if you're entering from the pedestrian bridge from New York-New York, just hug the right wall and you should be good. I was concerned early on when my buddy tried to ask for a Chi Chi, which is basically a Piña Colada but with vodka instead of rum, and they just wouldn't do it since they have their preset cocktail menus and no way to charge for customizations on their point of sale. He ended up ordering Howler Whip, which comes with bourbon and pineapple whip, subbed out the bourbon for vodka, and called it good enough. And then when that (and my other friend's whip-containing drink) came out, the whip was not mixed with the drink and the server didn't say anything about stirring, which just seemed weird as you can start off with a mouthful of booze and little else. I simply ordered the Rum Punch ($18.00), a blend of three rums and three citrus juices. The macaw mug was cute, but the drink wasn't great. Admittedly, I don't have experience with this cocktail in particular, but I have definitely had richer, more cohesive cocktails. The coconut from the Malibu rum was prominent early but seemed to vanish later, suggesting to me that they didn't mix the drink properly. On top of that, the flavor was just light for most of the time. If you can get these things for $8.00 at the daily 5pm-7pm happy hour, then they're actually not that bad for a cocktail on the Strip. But I'm definitely not planning to order these for full price in the future if I should end up at The Tiki Bar again. And by the way, they need to turn the volume down a notch, the bass down three notches, and consider playing actual tiki-like music instead of just some mishmash of older songs. read more

Cute new bar in the Excalibur! I'd call it more of a tiki-themed lounge instead of a full-on "Tiki Bar" but tomato tomahto. My favorite part is they currently have happy hour daily 5-7pm, with Specialty Cocktails only $8! The drinks were fun and tasty. The interior was cute and comfortable with nice nautical lighting. Plenty of seating in the lounge area, nice big stage - hopefully they'll start doing shows or karaoke (since this used to be a karaoke bar)? I think we maybe arrived during a shift change because it took awhile for the bartenders to come out away from a corner where they were congregating. And then it did take a bit to make the drinks but hey, it happens, it's a new bar with lots of new drinks to learn. Enjoyed this spot overall and would recommend to those who are already in the Excalibur & vicinity and want a fun tropical drink but probably not worth going way out of your way for. read more

Eh, it's OK for a stop for a break if you're at the Excalibur. The drinks were trash unfortunately. My coconut margarita tasted like a 7-Up with coconut flavoring thrown in. Mr B's mai tai tasted like straight fruit juice with cheap rum. Super disappointing. The service was great, and the video draw poker was fun. The theming ambiance is cute in a kitchy way. Stopped in here around 2pm for drinks and took a bit for the bartender to come over. While the casino was bustling, it was very quiet at the bar. The bartender ended up being friendly but I thought the drinks were very average. The flavor profile was not distinct and on the verge of being bland. They were smaller than it seemed they would've been and no fancy glasses like shown on the menu for whatever reason. Also wanted to try the flight and was told they weren't making them that day? We tried the rum punch, coconut margarita and mai tai...there was just no wow factor and quite honestly for the money per drink, you'd get a better drink at a casino bar (even comped). read more

Cool vibe here at the Tiki Bar. It's located inside Excalibur. Great decor and great drink collection. We went at happy hour and the prices were pretty good. Heard about the new tiki bar/lounge at the Excalibur and I went to check it out and I was pleasantly surprised. The tiki-inspired drinks come in themed tiki cups and are worth trying out. They are a bit pricey though so keep that in mind. There was a live band when I visited that kept a good vibe going all night. We definitely got our hopes up for this one. The bar itself is nice, don't get me wrong -- there are tiki elements here. The bar has a straw thatch top, one wall with bamboo paneling and some tiki-style art, so the effort is visible. But overall, it doesn't really land as a true tiki bar. Service was very slow, and the tiki drink selection is surprisingly limited. When the drinks finally arrive, they're fine, but waiting that long for a mediocre tiki menu takes the wind out of it. The vibe is where it really falls apart. There was country music playing, which completely clashes with the concept. The decor feels more maximalist than tiki -- zebra print bar stools next to bamboo walls is a strange mix. There's also a large stage that sat unused on a Saturday night, which feels like a big missed opportunity. Meanwhile, the stage TVs were playing Swiss Family Robinson, while the bar TVs showed commercials and sports -- it all felt disconnected. Bottom line: it's a pleasant bar inside Excalibur Hotel and Casino, but if you're expecting an immersive tiki experience, this isn't it. Nice space, questionable execution. A Mai Tai contains rum, lime juice, curaçao, and orgeat. The only juice in the recipe is lime. The "Mai Tai" on the menu here does not contain curaçao or orgeat. They have removed half of the ingredients from the recipe and replaced them with orange juice and pineapple juice, as well as grenadine. These ingredients do not belong in a Mai Tai. missed happy hour about 10 minutes, since we were there , we decided to try it and had a seat at the bar, unfortunately there were some downers? The guys at the bar were not helpful and not friendly, not because it was busy, they just opened this tiki bar inside excalibur. We ordered 'the painkiller and something else I don't recall' and it was served not in those fun tiki glass just ordinary wines glasses at the regular price rate, you know people go there to take pictures of the drinks and show off on FB and/or instagram, but of course they were not , because we were told after the fact , because were sitting at the bar????? Awful service. Attempted to visit for their happy hour. Arrived at 5pm. Went to the host stand and said hello to the hostess stood there. She smiled at me and walked away. There was no one whatsoever sat inside at a table. I presumed it is free seating. Went to sit at a table. No one came over. After 10 minutes I went to the bar and took a look at their happy hour menu. It states 'specialty cocktails $10'. I had a look in their menu and only saw 'signature cocktails'. I asked the bar tender which were their happy hour cocktails. He silently pointed at the happy hour menu. I thanked him and then left the bar without buying anything. I spoke to two employees trying to understand what to do and what to order and no one said a word to me. A shame as I was excited to try this bar. read more
