Doctor Samuel Ko, D.C. is the man with many hats! Front office, back office, treating patient, and there could be others that i'm not aware of. The good thing is he passes on the savings to his patients. I pay only $10.00 more than paying my copay when I use my insurance. I found doctor Ko with the help of a friend of my friend, words of mouth method after having 2 bad experiences using my healthcare insurance "in network" recommendation. I started my treatments with doctor Ko about 2 months ago and I've observed how efficient he is, working very hard but not affecting his quality of care for patients! Dr. Ko is a great chiropractor. He is really professional, kind, and attentive. His first appointment with you will go over everything that might be bothering you. He will also evaluate your posture and have you do some stretches to check for pain in different areas. I am sometimes scared of chiropractors because of the cracking/snapping for adjustments. This is a review that has been long overdue. I've been coming here for around 2 years on and off. It started with an lower back injury that caused me unbearable pain that even the easiest task like putting pants or shoes on was so painful. I was unable to sleep due to the pain. A 25 year old with back pain and kids were not a great combo! Making the appointment I was scared because I've seen those videos online of people going to chiropractors , getting cracked and coming out paralyzed. But here they don't do any of those harsh techniques! The Dr is so gentle and is always making sure you're comfortable with what he is doing, which is very gentle techniques that you think it would do nothing but it actually helps so much! The dr had me do 1 session a week for 6 weeks and sent me home with stretching exercises to do and recommend cold packs for my back (he does sell some too), then it was recommended to come back monthly for me. The prices here are reasonable as he doesn't accept insurance. For the price, quality of care, and the amazing service the Dr gives I have been a returning client. I have been recommending everyone I know with back problems here and you should definitely consider it too! read more

If I can give more stars I absolutely would. Dr Ko did such an amazing job for husband on such short notice. My husband hurt his back after playing with our daughter and he NEEDED help but not yet hospital help . Lol . Dr ko is definitely affordable and he's schedule times are flexible as well as he's available on the wknds. Not sure if he's still doing the wknds but call and check. My husband went in barely able to walk straight on his own going in, than walking on his own coming out. Same day same session. Few more sessions after that he's back to his normal self. Even just going in just for an adjustment feels amazing. The location is a stand alone building easy to spot and plenty of parking on in the back of the business. If your that hurt your driver can pull up right up to their steps to drop you off also, which I did for my husband. Very convient and so close to our home. Customer service was also great! Although there was only 2 people the time we went it was still somewhat covid. So it is by appointment only. I had been faithfully going to the same chiropractor for 10 years. I had some problems trying to find time to get in, he was only open a few hours each day and wasn't even open M-F. Needless to say I needed to find a place that could not only fix me and make me better but also work with my schedule. It's hard because I have kids and I work and it's so hard to plan things as it is. I was referred by a friend to Elevate Life, and my main reason for sticking with the previous Dr was because he didn't do the "popping". I prefer the "tapping". This Dr is familiar with "tapping" and so I decided to give him a try. Also this Dr is like 40 miles closer too! Major plus! But I was so scared to try anyone new! I have heard major horror stories of bad chiropractors. I called on a Friday afternoon because I had been having a migraine for 3 days and I was desperate. I had some time off work and I just took a chance and called. I called around 2:20pm and the Dr agreed to fit me in at 3:30pm same day! Ok -so I arrived and first thing I was greeted by such a nice man who turned out to be the Dr. I sat down and after filling out some paper work he stretched me and examined me and tapped me. He adjusted my neck, hips and pelvis. Instantly I started to feel a lot better. He also did this electro shock therapy thing with heat. (Maybe I am not describing it correctly) anyway the thing worked and really loosened me up. Also the Dr fit my teenage daughter in and fixed her all up. After spending some time with us, I realized it was getting late. I apologized to the Dr for calling so last minute and I realized it was Friday night, I'm sure he had plans. His response was so refreshing, he said, " I came to work" that was such AWESOME news! My previous Dr was a good Dr, but I always felt I was bothering him. He literally was open like 10-1 and if I came at 12:30 the door would be locked. It was so stressful for me! BUT this DR -OMG he totally appreciated my business as much as I appreciated him fixing me and making me feel so much better! AND he is closer to home AND he is open M-F and Saturdays AND SUNDAYS by appointment! SO cool! And he accepts cards and insurance which my last Dr didn't accept anything but cash or check and no insurance. It was actually my first chiropractic session, and I think I found the right place to start :) Dr. Ko is very friendly and detailed. My left leg was a quarter inch shorter than my right leg and he adjusted my hip so it's balanced! Couple years ago I got a pretty gnarly injury from lifting heavy weight. I went thru one physical therapist and couple chiropractors to fix my injury however, none made a big significant difference. Everything was very minimal and would just return back to it's old ways. Even the doctors I went to really didn't know what was wrong with me and gave me wrong diagnoses. I decided to let it be however, my condition worsened and my right side of my back started becoming pretty numb and was losing sensation, I decided to give it another shot and ended up finding this gem. From personal experience Dr. Ko is very friendly and all about improving his patients. He is very straight forward with what his methods are and how he plans to make you better. He is not after your money as even though I did not have a great insurance the cash payment option was not too high for me to not afford and from the beginning he stated that if he did not improve me within 6 sessions he would refer me to a specialist which also verifies his best interest is in helping me rather than his business which made me trust his work and him as a person. After meeting with Dr. Ko for 7 sessions, my body feels about 75-80% recovered. My right side of my back has gained so much sensation and my posture and strength are slowly coming back. I am currently in the process of rehabbing myself as not having any nerves firing to my right side of my back has made some muscle hard to contract with it being non functional in the past. Currently I am seeing Dr. Ko one a month for tune ups. Overall, I believe this Dr. Ko is a man of his word, honest, and transparent which is something you want to look for in a chiropractor.
