Michael came out to look at my damp basement. Briefly looking at my basement, and without even walking around the property, he said I needed a sump pump and a French drain. Which is odd, because I had two different structural engineers come out and both separately told me that if someone tries to sell me a sump pump or a French drain, I should run the other way. I felt like Michael was a sump pump salesman, rather than someone who was there to help me figure out where the dampness was coming from. Also, when he called to schedule the appointment, he bashed one of his company's competitors, saying they were awful. And then when he arrived, he again bashed the competitor. I submitted a request to Liftech to give an estimate on fixing a sinking patio post. They got back to me quickly to schedule an appt. for 12/6/19. Neil showed up on time and was personable. They explained what they felt I needed (attach a helical pier to the existing concrete pier that is sinking). He did mention it was a small job (I was thinking $3k to $5K). I asked when they would get back to me with an estimate and he made it sound like a week or so. I didn't hear back for 2 weeks so I emailed Neil (email address on business card that he gave me). No response. After 3 weeks and no response, I decided they were not getting back to me. Well, it is now a month and 3 weeks. Very unprofessional to ghost your customers! My front steps were cracked and falling away from the house. It made the house look bad and also got attention from the HOA. Liftech came out, raised the steps back up to where they should be. I was extremely impressed by the level of honesty and professionalism demonstrated by Lifttech. I had Brian Lebnerz come out today to give me an estimate on some foundation work that I thought I needed on my property. Rather than try to sell me a new stabilization system, he convinced me that the settlement of my house was normal and he discussed with me ways to address the problem without having to get any professional foundation work done. This level of honesty (and looking out for the consumer's best interest) is almost unheard of in the world of home repair and it was a quality I really appreciated about Liftech. Liftech was quick to provide a quote and options for how to approach replacing my driveway and walk for my rental home. When I was told it was finished, and received an invoice dated 2 weeks before I received it (!!) I went by to see the work. While the driveway looked good, they left the job site in poor shape with unsafe conditions in some spots where the gap between the edge of the driveway and grass could have resulted in an accident, as well as an untidy finish and concrete remnants throughout. When I approached them and sent pictures they made it seem like that's just how it goes. They weakly offered to send a landscaper some time later, but I had already made those arrangements. I had the landscaper clean up their mess and when I asked for a new invoice, Darren had the audacity to tell me he would not charge me interest on the "overdue" invoice that was dated 2 weeks before I received it. The work isn't done until the customer says it is, Darren. There are already cracks in the sidewalk, so we shall see how responsive they are on follow-up. read more

He was quick to respond to my first call and followed up without pestering when my husband and I dropped the ball and explained everything in a way we could understand it. We hired Liftech to replace part of our driveway and sidewalk, as well as our front porch. While the concrete itself seems to be just fine and they did a nice job with it, they were very careless with other items on our property. If I hadn't stopped them they would've ended up burying a sprinkler head that I had to call to their attention multiple times. They also broke an electrical line that runs out to a light in our yard, and crushed an underground drain we had connected to our downspout, again something I had pointed out prior to the work starting. I realize the contract says they aren't responsible for what's underground but I had assurance from the crew they would be careful. They also started laying out all the forms without asking us if we wanted the same dimensions and design, thank goodness we caught them before they got too far. They also splattered concrete on our bricks on the side of our house. The real kicker and why I can only give 3 stars?? They broke part of our fascia, drip edge and gutter with their Bobcat and didn't bother to tell us!! We noticed it after the crew had left and while yes, they finally did get someone over to fix it, it took multiple phone calls and a great deal of time. We wanted all new pieces and there was one remaining piece on the gutter the repair guy had patched and caulked while we were waiting for a part on order...we got tired of following up to get the new piece installed so we just gave up and decided to live with the patch job. I probably would've hired a different company if I had known they were going to be so careless. The crew themselves were very nice, it's not a character attack. Simply disappointed they wouldn't give the same care to our home that I would hope they'd give to theirs. read more

When it came to the crew, I mean they did what we asked and saved our wall. Very easy to work with, Colorado based company, reasonably priced, and the owner Darren is readily available to come on site and jump in when things get hairy (I know this because our issue was much bigger than any of us thought and he came on site and kicked the walls a** and put it back in shape). Not only Darren but Anthony the crew leader and his crew, Brian and Joe, stayed well into the night to reattach our foundation wall and save our external brick wall. They prioritized our request and did a fantastic job. Our foundation issue was something that will last in our memories forever because of the issues. We are incredibly disappointed that our experience didn't come close to matching that of all these wonderful reviews. We had them in to do a quote to raise our sinking sunroom which was an addition to the home many years ago. We discussed that the room was built on a slab of concrete with a sub-floor (which creaks when walked on and was also obvious to the person giving the quote that there was more than just concrete under the carpet). They gave precise instructions that we needed to remove the carpet and the padding because they do not do that, but would do everything else to get to the concrete. When they got here the techs started telling us that it would cost $150 additional dollars per hour to get through the sub-floor to the concrete. My husband and I Iooked at each other stunned because this information was not shared during any of the 3 conversations that were had prior to them coming out. We put the lift on hold until we could talk to the appropriate people. Instead of them owning up to their error in not telling us or adding it to the proposal they instead leave us with an empty room and say they did tell us and that's that. They made a mistake in this instance and it would be nice to if they made it right. Having to remove a sub-floor isn't exactly something one just happens to forget or doesn't hear. That's major! If they told us that then we would have been prepared to either pay the additional cost or use the other Company we were considering. They knew we had another quote out there too. My husband is extremely diligent in contracts and even asked about an additional line items on the proposal they we needed clarification on that could have potentially added to the end cost beyond the balance quoted. Therefore, we were definitely prepared if more of the "fill" needed to be added beyond their estimate. Now, we're sitting with a room with no carpet, padding or furniture due to their error and their unwillingness to step up to their mistake and make it right. I'm sure they've done a fabulous job in the past for many customers, but when they do make an error be assured they will not own up to it and make it right. read more

Liftech did an amazing job lifting two areas of concrete in front of our house. One was a trip hazard where the concrete was uneven by almost three inches. It is now level. The other was a narrow piece between the driveway and porch that was divided into small sections that could have been more difficult, but they spent extra time and care to get it right. We couldn't be happier with the results and I had two other bids that were twice as much as Liftech! Plus, the guys were very friendly and cleaned up everything during and after the work was done. read more

My concrete steps on the front of my house had sunk over time and were leaning. I did a bunch of research and found Liftech. I really liked the product versus traditional mudjacking. The representative came to my house, was very professional, and explained everything to me. I was impressed. When the technicians did the actual installation, they did a great job. They were on time, courteous, and when they encountered a difference between the quote and what was necessary to do the job, their response was professional. They simply called the estimator office for clarification and took care of things immediately. In addition, they cleaned up everything, swept the stairs, and it looked like they had never been there other than the fact that now my steps no longer lean. This time we noticed a drop and crack (outside slab) in our concrete closest to the garage door. I called and scheduled an appointment with Liftech and Jordan. The concrete slabs that make up our back patio had sunk so much that rain and water from snow melt were flowing TOWARD the foundation of our house. You could see where the slabs had once been--they had dropped anywhere from 2 to 4 inches, creating a long crack where water and debris could get in under the house. We could not afford to have a new patio put in and we hoped we could save the one we have. We interviewed 5 contractors who specialize in raising concrete and hired Liftech because they had the newest technology paired with the best price for that technology. The owner really knew what he was doing and he took the time to educate us about the process. It took about 2 hours for them to drill holes into the 6 slabs, inject the polyurethane, measure to ensure the slabs were lifted enough to have water flow away from the house, and then fill the drilled holes and sand the filler down flat. They checked and rechecked and were very careful to get it just right. It was an amazing process and this company did a great job. It would have cost many thousands of dollars to have the old concrete removed and the patio redone. The patio is now back to where it should be and we couldn't be happier. read more

I had a really badly cracked and uneven concrete patio. One of the larger cracks had almost an inch of offset and people would trip over it if not careful. Two of the larger sections were tilted toward the foundation, so any snow melt or rain that got to them would drain into the foundation. I had to prop my grill up with bricks and pieces of wood just to stabilize it. It was bad enough that I considered having the whole thing replaced. I thought I would give Liftech a try after talking to them at the Colorado Garden & Home Show, since they offered a considerably cheaper alternative to a tear-out and re-pour. I was expecting a big improvement, but frankly- I was blown away by the job they did. They leveled all of the sections, pitching everything away from the house. They did it fast, and without leaving any kind of a mess. I can easily fill-in the now-level cracks with sealant. It has gone from an awkward, difficult-to-use, and frankly- embarrassing liability to a nice functional patio. Worth every penny! read more
