My daughter started at Light Bright in September and I could not be more happy. Ms. Noelia, Ms. Olga, Ms. Geraldine and Ms. Gabby are all phenomenal. The way they take pride in their lesson plans, the communication is always clear and the amount of love and affection shown to my daughter has been a great experience. When Jay started she had a hard time being social. She is now social with her peers and in new environments. If you're looking to abandon your child and ensure they don't receive proper care, this is the place for you. I registered for back-up care as a last resort and only scheduled two days. Both days were unacceptable and honestly upsetting. I'm extremely concerned and disappointed with the level of care my children received. My daughter came home in a dress and without any underwear on, despite me packing a duffle bag full of extras--clothes, underwear, socks, wipes, a blanket, and a towel. Why wasn't her bag checked? Why was she sent home improperly dressed? Worse, I found her belongings scattered all over the floor in an unlocked classroom during pickup--no supervision, no help. I had to gather her things myself. My son wasn't cared for properly either. His clothes were falling off of him, and his face was covered in dried snot that I had to clean myself. I packed his swimsuit, towel, and shoes, yet he didn't participate in water play because no one bothered to check his bag. The level of security is also concerning--there's no check-in or ID process. I could have walked in with his cousin, who is not even registered, and no one would have noticed or stopped us. Their lunchboxes were untouched, which means no one ensured they even ate. That's neglectful. To top it off, communication is nonexistent. No one returns phone calls or answers emails. I also witnessed a teacher berating a child with visible annoyance. Completely inappropriate. These are not minor issues. This is a pattern of carelessness, poor supervision, and unprofessional behavior. I expected basic safety and attentiveness. A perfect, all 5s, rating is rare for any establishment -- especially a daycare, which is charged with our most precious valuables! However, there is a reason that the praises of this daycare/preschool cannot be sung enough! It is amazing! I'm incredibly grateful for the care that my daughter has received here. My daughter began attending Lightbridge in April 2017, on the day that they began accepting children. My daughter was only 9 months old and I hated to leave her but work and life necessitated it. Admittedly, I was skeptical about the services at first as the center replaced another place which closed down. (They are not affiliated in any way.) However the location is ideal for commuters to NYC and I was really impressed with the full renovation and design. I loved the outdoor play/water-play area and the indoor gym. So I decided to take a chance. I couldn't have been more pleased! The lead teacher for the infants, Mrs. Jackie was a God-send! I am not being quaint when I say that she felt like family. My daughter was able to love her like an aunt/ grandma figure. And I genuinely feel that Mrs.Jackie cared about all of the kids in her program. I appreciated the consistency of the days. There is a high turnover rate at a lot of daycares and yet, Mrs.Jackie was a constant. Kids need consistency. That was invaluable! We are expecting again soon and I have no qualms about returning to work sooner and entering my 6 week old child into Mrs.Jackie's Care. Next, for a small fee, parents can purchase the "WatchMeGrow" Service. It is a private, secure, video feed of your child during the day. I set up the feed's app on my iPad in my office and then I can watch my daughter play and learn all day. For a working parent, it is priceless! That service alone is reason enough to join the center. Also, you can link 3-4 accounts together. My husband was deployed overseas and he too was able to watch the baby play. I feel that it helped maintain his bond with her. I definitely recommend the service! Also, they use the Tadpoles program to track your child's day. I know exactly how much wet diapers, bowel movements, meals, fluids, and sleep my child went through in a day. However my favorite part of the app is definitely the photos! They take photos of the kids playing all day! Some of my favorite photos of my daughter were actually taken at daycare and they're professional grade. Now, not every photo is hanging-worthy but I have a way to track and remember her life experiences. Lastly, to the most important aspect, the education. I am incredibly pleased with my daughter's vocabulary and it skill set and it all began at Lightbridge! At 20 months she speaks ~100 words and she is making phrases. She knows body parts, animals and animal sounds, nursery rhymes/songs, some colors, and some shapes. I recently had her evaluated as an admission process to a prestigious preschool and she excelled with FLYING colors. (It is trivial but she sang "Head Shoulders Knees and Toes" and sealed the deal) Also, we hadn't worked on the color "black" at home (its not one of our flash cards for some reason) but when she got in the car TODAY, she pointed at the seat and said it. She had to get that from daycare. So, I'm not guaranteeing that she will be admitted to all the Ivies but she has a good foundation so far! Then, her motor skills are also advanced! She does 'gymnastics' at another facility and her ability is clearly enhanced from playing on the equipment at Lightbridge twice a day -- and I'm being modest! In the most competitive preschool marketplace in the world, I think it is essential to start your kids off with the best possible foundation! I have found it for a reasonable price (with military discount) at Lightbridge!!! I HIGHLY recommend! Edited add: One of the most beautiful gifts about Lightbridge is the diversity of the children. Because of the slightly restrictive price they have similar socioeconomic backgrounds. However, each race, creed, color, and ethnicity is included. My daughter's childhood best friend is of a completely different ethnicity than her and it works! In today's America and the global economy, I'm fortunate that she was exposed to diversity so early. Cons: - You must pay with a ACH Debit from a checking account. I wish I could use my debit card for budgeting purposes. - The mealplan is new and I'm not too familiar with it. Most foods are provided by the parents all day. So that's an additional cost. - You cannot leave food daily due to expiration dates etc so that means that you have to pack a bag DAILY of food/ drinks which can be cumbersome. - Although all holidays are celebrated from around the world, there is no religious education in this curriculum. Even if every creed was included, it'd be nice to have some kind of exposure there but... nothing is perfect and I understand that it is easier for inclusion to leave it out. read more

The place is always well organized and clean. The staff is easily accessible and always available to answer any questions and to share their knowledge! My daughter has been a student at LBA for a little over 2 years now and I cannot be more happy than for her to be a part of such an amazing place. The teachers are extremely on hand and easy to talk to. I am able to go to work knowing that my daughter is in great hands. She's safe, she's learning and she is happy! My wife and I looked at several day cares for our infant daughter and it was hard because she was only 4 months when we decided to have her start going to daycare. We did several tours at other facilities and by far light bridge in fort Lee stood out more than all the others because of the staffs professionalism, it was also so clean! And by far the best part we're Rene and Lisa answering all of our concerns and always making us comfortable before we committed to this decision. I recently started sending my toddler here and so far I'm pleased with the level of care provided to my 17 month old. We moved here from GA and had two of our children in Goddard School and enjoyed the school and really loved the curriculum. This school has a similar approach to learning; however, I like how the teachers appear more enthusiastic about their roles in the children's life. The teachers also appear happier and more engaged than the teachers at my previous school. I'm able to get an administrator on the phone which is excellent and I love how involved the assistant director is with the children. So far it's great, highly recommend this location and school. read more

I was able to be accommodated for an open house right away. It was a bit difficult for me to get to this location, but then again, I was a new driver at this point. As a mother, I care about the cleanliness of a site and this site was extremely clean! I loved it! My tour was scheduled during regular hours so I was able to see how the site functions, naturally. The teacher was able to introduce herself and provide me information on the curriculum. I was able to obtain all the answers I needed from the lady who provided me the tour (forgot her name, sorry). All in all, the curriculum was detailed, the handbook with further details was knowledgeable and the site was clean. They even have an area to leave your stroller or car seat, not many preschools offer this. read more

I enrolled her here because I liked the school's philosophy on education; the toys and activities are very age appropriate. Lightbridge Academy in Fort Lee, NJ has been an amazing resource for our family and our daughter. Our daughter has a very cautious personality and does not take to change very well, and the staff at Lightbridge was so understanding and helpful in helping her adjust to her days there. Soon enough, she started to love going and would come back teaching us everything she learned from her teachers. She always had a smile on her face and would mention her teachers and friends by name every night, and say goodnight to all of them. They spend their days partaking in so many activities--when the weather is nice, they have a fun outdoor area, as well as a large multipurpose play room when it's raining or cold. We opted to pay a little more for meals that are nutritious for our child. With their hours opening as early as 6:30AM, it was convenient for our busier months. We have to move due to a job change but we will miss this daycare very much. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a quality, loving, and amazing daycare in this area! read more

I live in South Jersey and have a grandson who attends Lightbridge Academy in Fort Lee. All I can say is that I am so grateful he is enrolled there. Due to distance I am only able to see him a couple of times a month, however, now that he's at the school, via the Parent View cameras I'm able to watch him throughout the day and see what the little rascal is up to!...I also love that I receive updates on him throughout the day, I know what he eats, when he naps, what he is coloring, I get to watch him grown up. He is thriving at the school and he is learning so much and again I am so grateful to the center and its teachers for the wonderful care they take of our little grandson and the instruction given to him and also for the opportunity to see him on a daily basis via their wonderful technology.
