Every one seemed average, and just like the rest. When we got to the Red School House, and took a quick tour, we were instantly aware of some, "above and beyond", going on. In the class our little one was going to be in, there were two tables full of very attentive boys and girls doing actual school work! Instantly we knew this was the place. Come to find out we had several friends/ and clients that rave about the school. The entire experience can be summed up into an observation that I made during the Christmas sing along. The staff was very into the whole process. Ambitiously singing in front of several dozen parents and relatives takes a lot of posture, but imagine the dedication it took for them to teach all of those songs to the kids. Our little one has been singing Holiday songs all month long. But the thing that got me was one of the children came late. As he walked up, one of the teachers while in mid song called his name, gave him a quick hug, and said, "I love you", in a very genuine way, then went right back into it. THAT.... is the type of people I want my child around.

Well I decided to check this place out after contacting for a tours. The owners, were very friendly and welcomed me to tour the facility. My daughter and I came and we checked it out. We met her teacher for the 2 year old room and I loved her structure of her teaching and her love for what she does. I love all of the staff and they really have pride in what hey do. This is not a large chain daycare so kids don't get lost in all the hustle and bustle, the teachers and owner know all of her kids and love them all. They offer a nice meal and snacks so that is amazing and the offer a very good deal for 6 months which is awesome. There was no planned activities for school agers and my child wasn't even there for the summer but the first day back I dropped off only to return 10 minutes later and catch a teacher yelling at them like they had been there misbehaving all summer. I was also charged for the times during summer she didn't attend and I hear billing issues happen often and parents have to fight for weeks to get it fixed. It's definitely not quality childcare for what you pay.

I found the leadership in the school to be warm and very much engaged with the well-fair of the children. The camp was filled with engaged parents and student volunteers. The children (volunteers) were very well behaved and set a great example. This led us to inquire about enrollment for the school year. I was introduced to the administrator and senior pastor. They were both very nice and invited us to tour classes during session. We have foster children and they were very supportive and went out of their way to provide information on how we can get scholarships for them. They also introduced me to another family that attends the school. If you are looking for a good school, you should visit them. They provide education from VPK through High-school.

They paid for him to attend believing this was a Christian early-learning center that had experience working with children with autism and would provide a safe, understanding, and supportive environment. Unfortunately, after only eight days, they felt they had no choice but to remove him. My nephew is autistic, and from everything our family was told about his experience, he was not treated with the patience, understanding, or compassion he deserved. He was repeatedly written up for behaviors that are very understandable for a 4-year-old, and when he became overwhelmed and hid under a table, his family was told that staff would simply leave him there because they didn't know how to deal with him. That breaks my heart. This is a sweet, intelligent, funny little boy. Different does not mean dumb. Autism does not make a child less deserving of kindness, patience, or the opportunity to feel safe and included. I understand that every child is different and that autism can be unfamiliar to some educators. What is difficult to understand is being led to believe that a center is experienced and prepared to work with children with different needs, only for a family to feel that their child was treated poorly when he actually needed that understanding. And honestly, this is a Christian institution. I expected better. Compassion, patience, grace, and treating every child with dignity should be at the heart of caring for children. My nephew deserved better, and my brother and sister-in-law deserved to feel confident that the person they entrusted their child to would care for him with the same kindness they would.

She does not greet parents or students and sits in the office with her back to them. The director of a private preschool needs to be out front every day greeting and monitoring her school, not on her phone in her office refusing to acknowledge anyone and then act like you are interrupting her when this behavior requires you to go into the office to request anything. Her assistant follows her lead and if the director gives you attitude she jumps right in. They act as though you are interrupting them when you are attempting to inquire about something with your child's school and when you try to talk to the man over her, he will not respond. The teachers are why anyone is there. They are the sweetest, loving, thoughtful group of people that are treated like they are nothing by her. They love what they do and they love the church. They don't deserve anyone to talk to them like I have witnessed her do there. It is sad what he is allowing this person to do to this school. She is allowed to speak to anyone however she wants and when she is done with you the assistant is behind her to treat you exactly as she did. Go on google and read the reviews specific to the director if you need proof or even better request to speak to them.

The teachers have been there forever which is rare for a daycare. Staff is caring and understanding. No corporate excuses or changes. The summer program was packed with stuff to do. Bowling, Alhambra, Adventure Landing, Beach, Parks, Skating......Etc. The playground has everything.....and i mean everything from swings to a rock climbing tower, seesaws to little play houses.
