The price is what would keep me coming back to this location when visiting Lexington. I visited here twice during a stay and ordered a sundae for about $4 and a medium swirl sugar cone for $2. Can't go wrong with those prices. They serve both soft service and hard ice cream. They have lots of options, although my friend asked for a hot fudge cream puff both days and they didn't have cream puffs. There is a large parking lot next to the creamery, which is nice for a downtown location. Indoor and outdoor seating is offered. There are quite a few outdoor tables and some have umbrellas for sunny hot days. The place is cutely decorated with a nautical theme. There is also a very clean bathroom. I would return to this location when visiting Lexington. read more

Lighthouse Creamery is located conveniently in downtown Lexington, only a quick walk from many of the homes/Air BnBs in the area. Reasonable prices and a large menu of both soft and hard serve ice cream to pick from. We've been a few times and sometimes their soft serve machine tends to be a little watery, so look at everyone else's cone first before deciding what you want to order. read more

This place is clean and cute. The ice cream flavors were quite an experience. I had a triple chocolate flavor made into a sundae. My daughter had a chocolate cone. The ice cream was super velvety and loaded with chocolate. I'm not sure I would get that flavor again because I'm a chunk girl. I love chunks of items in my ice cream. There is outdoor seating and indoor. This cutely decorated store is right past the downtown area. Also, the prices are super reasonable. I purchased 4 ice creams and it was only $14. Super sweet owners and they make the frozen yogurt in house! It is some of the best I've tried especially if you get it with the berries and blasted. Tried a few ice cream/custard stands while visiting Lexington this past summer. While I liked them all for one reason or another, this place stood out. Both the hand dip and soft serve were great. Soft serve creamy with great flavor and not grainy at all like some soft serve can be. The hand dipped I picked was one of the best I have ever had, very velvety and not overly sweet. The service was great as well. We came in later one evening and they were cheerful and accommodating (it wasn't closing time but getting near it). Also very fast. On another visit we came in with a larger group while the shop was a bit busy and they handled our orders so fast and were super friendly. We want to take some future day trips to the area and Lighthouse Creamery will be on our list to visit:-) read more

Great soft serve, nice and clean amd reasonable pricing as well as quick service. Parkimg on the side or the street, they have a couple of tables inside qnd some tables outside. They also have scoops of ice cream, but i prefer soft serve and theirs was nice amd creamy. read more

I almost went for the double. The price was so reasonable I figured a single must be one of those tiny actual "single" scoops. But, dinner had been huge so I stuck with the single anyway. We were driving through Lexington and saw The Creamery so we stopped. There were quite a few people there and I thought it must be a popular spot. I ordered a tadpole size tsunami, cookies and cream cheesecake flavored and my husband got a Hawaiian one. It was so creamy we thought it was custard! There was lots of goodies in our tsunamis and it was very filling! I plan on going back next time I drive up north! This time I will do a sundae. read more
