Super cute place with an amazing view to eat outdoor. Service was fast and courteous as I called ahead before getting there. Calamari and halibut fish and chips were so fresh, crisp and delicious. Mine only compliant it was a little pricey (which is expected given the location) and the portion could be bigger. I recommend it for the freshness and taste; will come back if we in the area.

    Cod fish and chips

First time trying this place and it's excellent. The fish and chips were so fresh. One of the better fries I've had as well. It was a drive up window to order your food and staff were super friendly. There is a small outside seating area to eat and it has an amazing view. Highly recommend

The food was delicious! Generous portions! Biggest prawns I've ever had in a prawn and chips basket! Staff was very friendly!

    Clam chowder

Most delicious halibut fish & chips in town plus the clam chowder I enjoyed both of them today the halibut wasn't soggy or oily at all it was perfect. The clam chowder was delicious I couldn't have asked for a better meal today as I was looking forward to this lunch meal today I would like to thank the people at the lighthouse for sound a delicious meal.

Went through the drive through as the restaurant was t open. There were a ton of things I had wanted to try but we split the fish (halibut) sandwich and the pulled pork. The pulled pork had a bit of spice to it. I loved the fish but Both were delicious. The restaurant has a great view but since they were closed we sat in the car and ate there still enjoying the view.

Cup of clam chowder, very good!!!

Visited Homer last week and really wanted to try the halibut fish and chips. Can't say too much about it, tasted more like cod than halibut, maybe over cooked alittle. The coating was Panko which I've always had my fish coated with a flour batter. Fries were good, didn't get any coleslaw with the dinner, guess that was extra. Had to order malt vinegar, paid $.25 a 2 oz serving. Usually these restaurants have little packets of the vinegar but here they put it in little cups. Earlier in the day for lunch I had a cup of clam chowder which was delicious; thick cream sauce chock full of potatoes, chopped clams and good spices. Served with a small cup of oyster crackers...overall much better than the fish and chips.

    Fun Decorations around the restaraunt.

Food prices are comparable to others around BUT the food is so amazing it ends up being a total steal for what you get. Everyone one sitting around the restaraunt was openly commenting in amazement at how perfect the food was.... haha it was kind of surreal in all honesty. Calamari was done perfect. Fish and chips was spot on. Fries were to die for. Even the side salads were way above average. Honestly can not remember the last time I ate somewhere with such a perfectly done meal. Waitress was incredibly kind and fantastic. She came out repeatedly to check on us with drinks and heads up on the food being made (mind you, it was not even a long wait). Very comfortable environment. She was genuine, joked with us, kept a close eye on our drinks, quick to fix a missing sauce and all without being overbearing. Lovely waitress, wish all restaraunts could have people as great as her. Want to return just for the service haha. Can't wait to return and repeat the experience.

Super friendly staff with one of the best views from a table in Homer. Situated up on the bluff over looking the bay. Ralph makes some AMAZING BBQ! Highly recommend this restaurant to anybody who enjoys friendly company, great views, and amazing BBQ!

There are several restaurants on this boardwalk and in the surrounding area. We spent all day halibut fishing and were looking for a bite to eat afterwards. Our guide gave us a few suggestions to choose from. I decided to check out Boardwalk Fish & Chips because of its casual relaxed atmosphere. They are know for their halibut fish and chips. They also have beautiful views of the Kachemak Bay from their dining area. We were able to spot some Orcas swimming by while we were eating. Majority of my group ordered the fish and chips. I got the Shrimp Basket with coleslaw. Boardwalk Fish & Chips is open seasonally. Their menu offers a number of seafood classics, burgers, soups and salads. There are several gifts shops and stores on the Boardwalk if you want to do some shopping before or after you eat. This was a nice place to stop in for a quick bite to eat.

They have very light breading on them and tartar sauce seemed homemade. The chips were good and the clam chowder was really good too. Service was quick for the amount of people that were in there. The restaurant itself is nothing special, a bunch of benches indoors and some outdoors. There was good views everywhere. Especially the tables by the windows.

The vibe inside is old-fashioned, and features antique ranges, but it's definitely a no-frills type of place. The staff are on the ball, and get you seated quickly, with drinks being served fast, and with a smile. We were there for breakfast on Saturday morning at 8am, but have also been there for lunch (Their onion rings are amazing) i got the eggs benedict with bacon, potatoes on the side, I'm not sure what husbands was called, but it featured biscuits n gravy, 3 scrambled eggs, and choice of bacon or sausage. We both got coffee, and it's a diner, so they come around with the coffee pot constantly offering refills. Benedict was only average today I'm afraid, my egg yolk was jammy, rather than runny. The hollandaise was unusual, and quite salty - not awful, just not the best I've ever had, but equally it wasn't horrible. It would not stop me coming back. The potatoes - i believe they were frozen, and not fresh. Again, not awful, just not the best I've had. The bacon was good, the muffin was good too. I ate most of it, so obviously it was an acceptable meal. Husband ate everything but half a biscuit. I'd probably rate the food we had today at a 3, though i have had better food here, so this is not a rating set in stone, my experience was a 4 star, as the staff are lovely, and service is very good, and i will still come back.

What a great place for breakfast in Homer!…read more Super cute. Super easy to find. And super friendly service. We had about a 10 minute wait which gave us time to look over the menu and some of the history on the walls. Once we were seated at a table our server quickly came over with waters and asked if we wanted anything else to drink. A previous review said it's self service for water - we did not experience that. I had an OJ and my husband at tea. The OJ comes in a massive glass, not the standard water cup size. For breakfast I had the burrito which was super good! I was a little hesitant when it said chipotle tortilla - I wasn't sure what that entailed. I'm still not really sure, but I can say the burrito tortilla was a little crispy which helped keep my burrito together when I ate it. The burrito comes cut in half, which makes eating it way more manageable. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy which he also enjoyed. We will definitely be eating here again when we're in Homer.
