    Clam chowder

A great meal. Everything you want - a warm space were you get a dinner you can tell is cooked fresh and not over complicated. Had the grill plate and really liked the seasoning on each piece - it was a lot of food! Clam chowder was also one of the best I've ever had.

Fish and chips were great, the views even better. The only thing that topped everything was the quick and fast service. Absolutely will be stopping here again

I got the Alaskan weathervane scallops grilled absolutely incredible tender largest scallops I've ever seen in my life coleslaw with it and clam chowder. The service was very good very nice people. Nice ambiance not too loud great view of the ocean and the mountains. Menus not too big nor too small if you love seafood great place to be.

Our first visit to Homer, AK and first meal was at Captain Pattie's! Recommended by our friend who used to live here. We were not going to need a lot of food, but in the Halibut capital of the world, we had to get Halibut. We did it Fried Fish and Baked potato and salad. We got six pieces and they were larger than "bites" so we're able to split the entire order. Afterwards a dessert plate came by for us to see all their choices. We chose a layered chocolate yummy dessert, just perfect in size and with dark chocolate, white chocolate, milk chocolate on a crust of almonds- it hit the spot! 4=means I would return!

My bf and I came here while camping on the Homer spit. Showed up at 8:30-ish and they let us in. We got the clam chowder and it was delicious and very filling. Then the lady came by with a tray with every single dessert they offer there (I knew them I was cooked lol) I had the "polar bear" as seen in the below pic! Delicious! Very decadent and rich. Would come back!

Our 2nf visit in a busy room. 15 minutes for entrees and salad to arrive. Got the calamari in 6 minutes. Food was great, hot and crispy. Credit card cost 3% so pay un cash.

On the hunt for some good clam chowder and salad disappointed by this place for the price I paid for the small bowl did not did not satisfy maybe might be for some other people and more of just a classic clam chowder person not all the extra bacon and green onions and stuff

This time food wasn't as flavorful as I remember. Clams tasted a bit watery but overall great service and beautiful views!

Who knew that a seafood restaurant located next to a fishing village cooked fish perfectly, this is the best cooked fish that I've ever had in my life.

Had two tables for our party of 19. Monica took great care of us. Beer and wine flowing while you choose a soup/salad and side. They will cook your catch or plenty of sea and land lover menu items to choose from. Fried, grilled and baked options for the fish served family style. Unfortunately, no room for dessert. Enjoy!

Halibut was delicious. Excellent service team. Authentic ambience. Must visit. Seafood is not cheap in Homer but it's worth it.

There are several restaurants on this boardwalk and in the surrounding area. We spent all day halibut fishing and were looking for a bite to eat afterwards. Our guide gave us a few suggestions to choose from. I decided to check out Boardwalk Fish & Chips because of its casual relaxed atmosphere. They are know for their halibut fish and chips. We met the Water Taxi around 5PM and started the trip across the bay..it's about 20 minutes and truly beautiful! The boat pulls up on the beach and you walk up a small trail to the restaurant. Now we had about 20 diners on the boat so this joint went from having one guy at the bar to like 6-7 tables all of the sudden.. they couldn't handle it at all. We waited about 20 minutes for drinks that just sat at the bar. Appetizers were ready before we got drinks. I know it's ALASKA but this just seemed off for a place of this caliber.. no manager on the floor or anything? Started with some appetizers that looked amazing but fell flat on execution, very little flavor at all. We all got entrees and again everything sounded great in description but had very little flavor; Halibut was barely luke warm but was plated beautifully! We tried all kinds of drinks and they were fine and they had a great whiskey I really liked. Dessert offerings were pretty weak so we just tried a Chocolate Mousse that was not good at all with some Espresso's that were served warm not hot? To be honest the place operated like they had just opened for business.. the waiter never asked how anything was just running thru the motions! Very pricey but the restaurant and location is absolutely beautiful. Talk Later
