This last time the food was good, but it didn't sweep me off my feet like before. First off they didn't have a special. So that was weird. So I ordered the blackened salmon and it arrived not blacked, just lightly seasons. Hmm. It was cooked perfectly, but it wasnt what I ordered so, eh. The veggies were fine. I wish it came with a baked potato or a roll. Without a carb I was left feeling... empty. Thankfully the salad came with their amazing house dressing that I loved. So we ordered dessert. It was OK. It was very creamy and luscious, but the nuts that were in it ruined the vibe. My husband loved his dinner. Overall is was all well presented and delicious. I just had higher expectations because previously meals here had been exceptional.

A great meal. Everything you want - a warm space were you get a dinner you can tell is cooked fresh and not over complicated. Had the grill plate and really liked the seasoning on each piece - it was a lot of food! Clam chowder was also one of the best I've ever had.

Fish and chips were great, the views even better. The only thing that topped everything was the quick and fast service. Absolutely will be stopping here again

It was amazing. The scallops and the shrimp tasted very fresh and the service was excellent. This was a lot of food and the restaurant also had a great view of the ocean.

I got the Alaskan weathervane scallops grilled absolutely incredible tender largest scallops I've ever seen in my life coleslaw with it and clam chowder. The service was very good very nice people. Nice ambiance not too loud great view of the ocean and the mountains. Menus not too big nor too small if you love seafood great place to be.

Our first visit to Homer, AK and first meal was at Captain Pattie's! Recommended by our friend who used to live here. We were not going to need a lot of food, but in the Halibut capital of the world, we had to get Halibut. We did it Fried Fish and Baked potato and salad. We got six pieces and they were larger than "bites" so we're able to split the entire order. Afterwards a dessert plate came by for us to see all their choices. We chose a layered chocolate yummy dessert, just perfect in size and with dark chocolate, white chocolate, milk chocolate on a crust of almonds- it hit the spot! 4=means I would return!

My bf and I came here while camping on the Homer spit. Showed up at 8:30-ish and they let us in. We got the clam chowder and it was delicious and very filling. Then the lady came by with a tray with every single dessert they offer there (I knew them I was cooked lol) I had the "polar bear" as seen in the below pic! Delicious! Very decadent and rich. Would come back!

Our 2nf visit in a busy room. 15 minutes for entrees and salad to arrive. Got the calamari in 6 minutes. Food was great, hot and crispy. Credit card cost 3% so pay un cash.

Halibut was delicious. Excellent service team. Authentic ambience. Must visit. Seafood is not cheap in Homer but it's worth it.

We got in about that time 5:30 or 6 ish and the place was quite empty. Obviously with all the construction outside, not a very pleasant looking place...the restaurant was also a bit dated and like I mentioned quite empty. However ee were seated at good table with a view of the lands end and also could watch the skillful bartender. We had Coconut prawns for appetizer and the prawns were huge with a great sauce but the coconut coating could have been better. Our kids had the mocktails of Honey Blossom and kenai colada and loved them both. My spurrita margarita was great and my husbands captains compass was also a very well made cocktail. For dinner we ordered the Alaskan fish & chips, Kachemak burger and Halibut Iliamana. The Iliamana had a nice crab dip sauce and the fish was perfectly cooked. Rice was a perfect company to it but the asparagus should have been trimmed, and hence wasnt very edible. Fish and chips were expectedly good. For dessert we shared the turtle cake and devoured it. Very good! Service was good enough.

The Alaskan crab legs were very good. The only thing that would improve it is if the butter had a warmer to keep it warm. The house salad and beet salad were both quite good. We tried the cod and shrimp with chips price was a bit on high side wish it came with more chips. The chips were amazing crispy criss cut fries wow! But the cod fish was very good but the batter falls right off and is not seasoned very much. I didn't like that the shrimp were skewered on a stick. The shrimp was hard to pull off and when you go to pull a shrimp off all the batter falls off and the shrimp is unseasoned so it tastes like what you dip it in. The fish and shrimp were fresh and of good quality. Won't be heading back next visit to Homer.

I informed our captain that we would be utilizing Coal point fish processing so they let them know 20 minutes prior to arriving at the docs and the worker was there waiting for us to pull in to retrieve our fish. I gave him my name my number and off he went. The next day, I called in to make sure that the fish would be ready for pick up as we were heading out of Homer that afternoon. When I was ready to pick up the fish, they pulled it out of the freezer and found the best way to have it packaged to be sent home. We were not leaving till the following day and overnighting in Anchorage. As I did have a cooler with me but our fish weighed 45 pounds and with the cooler it would have been over what is allowed for a bag through the airlines without incurring overweight charges so they suggested to ship it in a box and ensure that it would stay frozen for 36 hours, which gave us enough time to overnight in Anchorage and fly home to Hawaii without being thawed. Because we arrived in Anchorage so late we did not have an opportunity to put it in a freezer overnight, but when we reached home and opened the box and cooler that Coal point had packed for us, all the fish was still rock solid. We were also staying on Homer spit so earlier in the day. I did stop by to check out the location prior to having to come back later to pick up our fish overall such a great experience and I will definitely recommend them to friends and family and also would utilize them again if I ever came back.
