Wow! Ted is fantastic! If you need an electrician, look no farther. After my brother spent an entire day trying to track down a wiring problem in our 30+ year old house (and I'm very lucky to have a brother who can usually fix everything) Ted found it and fixed it in less than an hour. He's nice, kind and has a great sense of humor -a joy to have around. My dad is 83 and has dementia so he can get very upset having both problems with lights not working and strangers in the house. Ted has been very helpful with our home addition project. The addition requires moving the overhead electrical service drop to the exterior wall of the new construction. A new solar ready 200A load center (and meter socket) is being installed and the old 100A load center is being "decommissioned" into a junction box in the attic space so new wiring can be installed to maintain all of the current electrical circuits. Ted did an excellent job for me recently. We own a rental unit in SLO and live about 3 hours away. Our tenants complained about lights flickering in the unit. We put out several service requests through Yelp and Ted responded in a very timely manner. He couldn't have been more helpful and easy to deal with. He went over to our condo the next day and and found our wiring to be fine and diagnosed it as a PG&E problem. He called them and had them come out to fix their equipment. He went back to check their work the next day and when he wasn't satisfied, he called PG&E again and spoke to a supervisor and had them return to complete the work! Needless to say, the flicker is fixed, Ted's pricing was incredibly fair and we have a new go to electrician. I highly recommend Ted and Lighting Technologies. read more
