DO NOT GO here!! I have been getting my upper lip threaded for YEARS and I've never been cut up as much. Initially thought it was only a small cut but she cut me in multiple places with skin completely off in one of the spots and still didn't get all the hair. It was painful (not normal) and I didnt bother to get all the hair removed after checking since she already cut me. Avoid this place!! I will never be coming back, already regretting checking it out as it was close to work for me. If you live in the oak lawn area, go to Sita Beauty Care instead!

You better read this review. Don't get your eyebrows tinted her don't do it, and if you do not let the older lady in the shop do them. Don't believe those pictures they are make believe. This was the worse service I have ever received. I can't speak for the threading BUT don't let that older lady give you eye lashes or eyebrows. I should have left the young lady but I though she knew what she was doing, and she don't. Both lashes lasted 3hours. She just stuck my lashers on and went and waited on two other people and she was about to do it again she was trying to grab all the money and not playing accurate attention to her customer/s already in the chair. I can't speak for all the location BUT DON'T Go to this location 6324 95th St, Oak Lawn, IL and let the older lady touch lol read more

I ended up leaving out. I went in for a facial. They told me they wouldn't accept the yelp coupons. That's odd/ they're available on the yelp page. whatever, that's fine. I went back for my facial. I took one look at the products they're eye planning on using and said never mind. It was massage cream- that she wanted to put on my face. No thank you. I guess you get what you pay for $55/60 minute facial. read more

I swear this woman makes up rules as she goes.. I forgot my punch card at home and she told me "don't worry I'll remember you for next time, take a new card"- she punched my new card and I left. I came back a week or so later and she explains "oh we no longer combine punch cards"- so I wasn't able to get a free eyebrow thread. Okay whatever. No big deal. I came in today to finally get my free eyebrow thread and I swear you'd think I stole from this woman. She was CLEARLY upset that I pulled out my punch card to get my free thread. It was soooo uncomfortable. Why even offer the free service?! Never coming back. Word of advice, make your customers feel appreciated for coming enough times to receive a free service! read more

This place is fast and very affordable. They do both waxing or threading depending on what you want. The owner is not overly friendly but nice enough. The atmosphere looks very clean and I appreciate there is parking close and convenient. I definitely recommend giving this place a try. read more

Received a Brazilian wax. My skin is burned and irritated. I have been getting wax for approximately 9 years. Never had an incident like this . The owner is extremely quick. The wax area is fairly clean. Cost before tip is average $45. Will not return. read more

Horrible place. I told the woman to not scalp my eyebrows, that she was pressing too hard and she completely ignored me. She was on the phone the whole time then she decided to turn on her charm when it was time to tip her. My eyebrows were completely swollen and even had a lil bits of blood from how swollen they were. I was looking for a threading salon since none are open yet in Chicago. Based upon an old recommendation, my daughter and I drove over there and it was a total waste of time! The "threader" butchered our brows. Stay away - far, far away from this place! She didn't ask about our shape preference and left me with a small bald spot over my right brow. I'm done with these "corner mall" threading salons and will search for one where there is proper lighting, and polite customer service. Unfortunately, I cannot give a negative star rating! read more

Vanita made my eyebrows so thin and was hurting me and didn't even apologize. I will never go there again ! She left hair and seemed as if she was in a rush . I will be going to perfect threading which is down the street from there . I know she was very busy and frustrated but that doesn't mean you take it out on your customers . read more

If I could give this salon zero stars I would. I went in for a Brazilian wax and the room was really dirty and unkempt. The technician did not take her take and I was in terrible pain. After I left I was bleeding and she took off a ton of my skin. It was so irritated and burned! Do not go here for wax please. It was not worth the money at all. read more

I hate to update my rating, but do not want anyone seeing my initial 5 stars when that's not my current rating. I'm taking a break from Blink due to a few mishaps with my brows. For the first year, my experience was mostly consistent. Unfortunately, uneven brows became more of a regular occurrence requiring a change. I have witnessed amazing brow transformations while waiting so my experience may be unique. read more

I'm not happy with today's service. First time I came here my eyebrows were great, today I came in for a full face wax. Absolutely no attention to detail, I ended up having to pluck more at home. My skin is burned from the wax being too hot. I asked not to have my forehead done because I thought it was unnecessary and I received a rude comment regarding the amount of hair I have. Once she proceeded, I had no choice with the wax already on my skin. Never coming back here again. read more

I'm a returning customer, although I did take a break due to the covid pandemic. I'm always satisficed with my eyebrows(satisfied this visit too) she never disappoints. I just think that she needs to work on her customer service. She was rude, and you can tell she had an attitude because the women that she was servicing before me kind of tried to give a hard time. Word to the wise, if you want people to keep coming back to you please treat every customer like an individual. I'm sorry that you had a bad day, but all customers are not the SAME! Its so many other eyebrow places in the neighborhood, BUT I CHOSE BLINK. Please keep that in mind the next time you decide to be mean and smile because it does not cost a thing, but will cost you customers! read more

They make it easy for you to book online through Square. They did a really good job with threading my eyebrows, lip, chin and neck. I love that it's precise, and she listened to my needs with my eyebrows. They have plenty of free parking on premise, and they also have a punch card. Onto my issues: 1) they do not wear gloves whatsoever for waxing services on your stomach, butt etc. I get it if they don't for face services, but in my experience at any facility that does hair removal, this is the first time where someone did not wear gloves. Yes, she did hand sanitize but it kind of irks me in terms of sanitation. Knock on wood I haven't caught anything yet, and they did get the job done though. I just won't be back for body services because of this. 2) it was one person working there the entire time. I made an appointment, and she was expecting me but there was still a bit of a wait as they take walk-ins as well and I was running a few minutes behind. 3) she would not stop upselling me. I get it - I have been a sales rep before, but it's a problem when I tell you multiple times that I am not interested. I am also not someone who came in for just an eyebrow. What is also interesting to me is that the other people around me who only got an eyebrow service was not upsold. TLDR; I'd be back for facial threading services exclusively, and it is the only thing here that I can recommend to others, unless you are ok with someone touching your body and private areas without gloves.

It was amazing to see such special touches Tina and Dong has in place for their customers. Jenny did a superb job on my feet and they were as soft as a baby's bottom. All while doing my pedi she checked in to see if I was ok and if I like the nails. She took her time which I appreciated. As soon as I was done with my pedi I was whisked over to the manicure seat to get my French manicure. To my surprise Tina the owner was the manicurist! I knew immediately that she was the owner because she had on a name tag, which I love ! This is another special touch that Tina and Dong provide that sets them apart from the other local nail shops. I truly appreciate knowing the person who's completing the services for me! Tina was so humble, down to earth and kind ! I asked her if she was the owner and she shyly said yes, how did you know? She may be good at lashes, after the second day they were so dry and brittle I could not wait for them to come out. Her other clients may be pleased but I was not. As far as my brows, they look like Frankenbrows. They pretty much look like they were drawn on with a sharpie. She text me a couple of days ago to send her more clients, I told her I could not do that because of the result of my brows. When I sent her a picture she accused me of having facial treatments as in Botox, not the case. And then she said there was no way possible that I left her shop with these brows. The Brows in the pictures on her Facebook page are photoshopped and I promise they did not turn out well. The color is turning into an ugly charcoal gray and the shape is not flattering. Please do your research before you see anyone for permanent facial tattooing. Once these fade I will be going to a qualified makeup artist. This is my situation but I hope I can help somebody out and nobody else has this dilemma that I am dealing with. Do your homework ladies!

All while doing my pedi she checked in to see if I was ok and if I like the nails. She took her time which I appreciated. As soon as I was done with my pedi I was whisked over to the manicure seat to get my French manicure. To my surprise Tina the owner was the manicurist! I knew immediately that she was the owner because she had on a name tag, which I love ! This is another special touch that Tina and Dong provide that sets them apart from the other local nail shops. I truly appreciate knowing the person who's completing the services for me! Tina was so humble, down to earth and kind ! I asked her if she was the owner and she shyly said yes, how did you know? The branding : name tags, tshirts and aprons the employees and owners wear really brings in the brand of TD's nail salon. I was nervous to try the eyebrow threading as I had previously had it done at a different place and it was extremely painful. I gave Vanita a shot at them and haven't had a single regret! She is quick, its painless, and she does such a great job! I have also gotten two facials from her which were both positive experiences. My mother was in town for the weekend from downstate IL, she was open to trying the eyebrow threading. Once again, Vanita did a stellar job. Highly recommend this business! Affordable and fair prices. The only suggestion I have is if you're looking to get a facial, call ahead and schedule an appointment as Vanita only has additional help part-time, so many days she is there by herself. read more
