There are shows happening all day long, from live music and bluegrass to comedy and saloon-style performances. Depending on the season, there are also special productions throughout the park. It's nice to be able to sit down, take a break, and still feel like you're part of the experience. And since the shows are included with admission, it adds a lot of value to your visit. It's also a great spot if you have younger kids. There is plenty for them to do beyond just rides, including play areas, interactive attractions, and even a train ride. It's not one of those parks where little kids are limited. They can stay busy all day. The whole park has a really cool 1880s theme and is honestly one of the most beautiful theme parks I've been to. Between the shops, craftsmen, and scenery, it feels more like an experience than just rides. That said, be ready for a lot of walking. This park is very hilly and you will feel it by the end of the day. Lines can also get long during busy times. Overall, it's a really unique place with a ton to do for all ages. Between the shows, rides, and kid-friendly activities, you can easily spend a full day here and still not see everything.

I felt like we were in a Hallmark movie. There is a decent amount of parking available between two lots, and it can get kind of tight at peak times. Everyone that was working the event was so friendly. They have a ton of photo opportunities and activities going on. Everything is included in the price of admission. I found the admission to be reasonable compared to other similar events. We just got the general admission. VIP admission was available, which included everything in the general admission, plus a trip up the tower and a ride on the coaster. They have a host of carnival games to play, such as roller bowler, basketball shot, skeeball, football throw and baseball throw, minus the prizes and annoying solicitors. They also have the Hills' animals such as sheep, and alpacas that are available to view and pet. My kids really liked the jump pad, stomp lights and little ninja course. Their favorite had to be the Mega Tube Slide though. The slide was fast and surprisingly did not have a line. The events Santa's workshop was awesome. They had an area where kids could color and right letters to Santa, and then mail them. They also had a face painting area where they painted designs on kid faces for an additional fee. And, of course they had the Jolly one himself there. He was a really good Santa. And they were taking professional photos for a fee, but allowing people to also take pictures with their cell phone, which is rare for being allowed when professional pictures are being taken. You will find a nativity scene, a fire pit, and have access to the tree top sky trail while you are there. I really liked the Hayride, which took us on a ride though a portion of the drive through Trail of Lights. It was cool to see the lights and not have to drive to do it. There is also a little playground area with slides and swings that is very nice, it is right by the ninja course. My kids spent a lot of time there. The event covers a pretty large area and includes phot ops such as picture in a sleigh, large bales of hay painted as Santa and reindeer, benches and event frames. The fire pit is also picturesque and has chairs around it to heat up. We did not have VIP tickets, but my kids still wanted to ride the coaster, so we just paid for it al a carte. They loved it so much that they went twice. My eight year old went by herself and I let my 4 year old drive. The place that you purchase the tickets to ride was pretty warm. We took that as an opportunity to heat up. It is also the base of the tall tower that gives you panoramic views of the valley. I really loved this spot. It was reasonably priced, well decorated with Christmas lights and other decorations and had tons of stuff to do. We spent about a half a day here. I recommend timing your visit so you can catch the place during daylight and night so that you get the best of both worlds. I highly, highly recommend checking this place out. If I could give it two extra stars I would.

While driving through, you thought you just saw the most beautiful piece of artwork only to be surprised with something just as spectacular. It meets the 3rd Monday of the month at 12 noon at First Christian Church on Joe Bald Rd in Kimberling city. They have many activities including an Open House December 6 12:30 to 3 pm. They are on a Studio Tour Oct 31 10 to 5. They sponsor field trips, workshops and interest programs and Meet and Greets. They sponsor a Children's Show and a Fall Festival. It is a fun enriching group. I give it 5 stars.

I will say the highway system has been improved but too late. Branson exists as an example of how to perch a city on top and sides of steep hills. You need GPS to get anywhere! Prices are way jacked up. Tourist tax must be over 14%. Parking is at a premium throughout all tourist areas. There are lodges, hotels, resorts, and condominiums for miles. I do not understand the reason why. The waterways are just damned up creeks with coves of curvy shorelines and once a dozen boats launch from the same location into the water it's a traffic jam. Came once, stayed a week, never coming back!
