Dr. Ligresti and his staff are wonderful. I have been going to Ligresti Dermatoligy for many years. He is knowledgeable. He always answers all of my questions and has successfuly treated my ailments including eczema, precancerous growths temoval, rashes due to allergies, shingles, cellulitus, and poison ivy, to name a few. The staff has been welcoming and attentive. I like that if the office phone can get a little busy at times, and the staff can not immediately answer while on another a call, or if one calls when office is closed, patients can leave a message and get a call back. I have visited this doctor four times and each time waited over an hour (often almost 1.5-2 hours). There is never an excuse or apology. The inconvenience to the patients waiting is brusquely ignored by the staff. To parents taking their child to this doctor (who is an adult AND pediatric dermatologist) - beware! Imagine waiting with your newborn (or, in my case, now toddler) in a cramped waiting room with 7 other people. A doctor should never consistently have that long of a wait, particularly for children. The cherry on this? On my last visit, a member of the office staff walked through the waiting room without wearing a mask. And on today's visiting, a patient sat in the fully packed waiting room with NO mask at all. read more

This was the worst experience of my life. The doctor came in with apparently the billing department woman who then just monitored his prescriptions and continued to tell me why all the services that were needed wouldn't be covered and the doctor wouldn't get paid. I made an appointment and had to wait a long time to be seen. Then they told me I had to pay $150 co pay Because my deductible was so high. Come to find out, while reviewing my claims they also submitted a claim through my insurance and noticed a claim for the same day being paid by my insurance. They double charged me, one I paid upfront when I went to my visitation and another through my insurance. I have attempted to call and they keep putting me on hold. So now I will be reporting this as an insurance fraud. read more

Unless you want to be faced with a rude staff, uninterested doctor, and a EXTREMELY long wait time I suggest avoiding this office. Aside from all that, the office never answers their phones and never calls back. My prescription was sent over to my pharmacy and when I got there I was told there was no prescription to begin with. I called the office only to get no response and had to go in myself to correct this mistake. Looking at it with a more positive note (thinking it was just a mistake, it happens) I went for a second appointment only to end up with a severe allergic reaction. When I called the office they AGAIN did not pick up the phone and after leaving 3 voicemails I have never even received a call back. It's been weeks and I haven't gotten anything back from them. How is this practice still even open?The receptionists are rude and unprofessional.This place supposedly opens at 9:00 am, but you can't get through to anybody on the phone until noon.When you finally get to speak to someone on the phone, be prepared to be "on hold" for at least a thirty minutes before you get to schedule an appointment. read more

Both times i went i had to wait over an hour past my appointment time, even thought i arrived before i was scheduled. I was also told over the phone that I needed to come in for test results, even though there were no results when I arrived. They charged me for the consult anyway. read more

My first question is. What happened to this place!?! I was recommended here a few years back by my chiropractor. Ive known them for over 10 years and are close with them outside the office as well so I take what they tell me as good advice always. Well 2 years ago, this place was great. Since then the staff there is super rude, short, and extremely attitude prone. They also do not listen well and hang up on you quickly before your finished speaking. Oh and that happened not once but anytime I called. Prices for self pay also seems to vary depending who you speak with. Most importantly I was clear I wanted to see Dr. Ligresti. Well instead I dealt with Dr. Sekiya. Seemed like a nice guy but didnt listen to why I was there and gave me something I did not need. Good job doc. Best part is when I called back he acted like he had no time for me. I get it your busy but was itbecause I had you feeling stupid cause of me tellung you that you paid no attention to why I was there in the first place . But we all are and at the end of the day. We are also the ones paying you. So learn to take more time. I then spoke to my chiropractor about it since they referred me and ironically had mentioned they heard similar stories of how this place had gone down hill recently. With that being said Dr. Ligresti is a great dermatologist. But his staff is horrible and the new doctors he has hired dont pay attention to well. Since then I have found a new dermatologist closer to me who was well worth the extra money as I received both the proper treatment as well as an ear that was there to listen to my concerns. I called to make an appointment with one of the doctors. The woman I spoke to on the phone was arrogant and nasty. I decided to go anyway. She was worse in person. I have never been to a doctor's office with such a nasty receptionist. I am surprised anyone would go back. If she is still there, I will not go back. There were two other patients in the waiting room that had a fight with her. When I told the doctor how nasty she was he said I was the third person that complained about her that day. I wish I could give ZERO stars for this place. The receptionists are so unprofessional. They do not return your calls or answer the phone, they make you wait on hold for over 30 mins. You could keep trying to call back but they just keep you on hold. I have waited for over 3 months for the receptionist to contact my insurance and has given me a constant run around. Completely unprofessional staff. Make you wait on hold for HOURS. And are not upfront about wait times. When you get to the office, they make you wait again, for HOURS, regardless of your appointment time. Also the doctor is not engaged at all. I am so disappointed with this place. The receptionists are rude and VERY unprofessional. I called numerous of times and most of the time the machine says they are closed and to call during office hours, which I did and still nothing. Are you closed or open? When I finally got through, the girl said "pleas hold" and I was put on hold for 5 mins only for her to come back and do the same thing and put me on hold for an additional 20 mins!!!!!! I tried emailing through the website twice and no one ever gets back to you. I've left messages and still are unanswered. Worst customer service ever. When i finally got through, i tell her i want to pay my bill and she said to mail the bill back to her with my phone number on it because she can't take my credit card info. I was quite pleased with my first visit to Dr Ligresti. I was prepared for a waiting room hell with an hours wait, but was called in on time with totally minimal paperwork. I see Dr. Sekiya once or twice a year for rosacea. Not denying he is usually pretty quick, but he has always answered all of my questions. The recommended treatments have worked for me, I just need to bring myself to be consistent and actually show up to my follow up appointments. It is a tremendous advantage that this practice is open on Saturdays, so I don't have to take time off from work which I actually prefer to use on vacation, not doctor's visits. I have never waited more than 20-25 minutes to be seen which I consider average wait time. read more

Dr Ligresti is great. I got Restelyne and Botox as well as Microderm and my husband said that I look 10 yrs younger. They also sell great products. My friend went there with their little baby as Dr Ligresti is also pediatric dermatologist and baby had a bad rash and nobody else could figure it out and he did after the 1st visit. I've been to this office almost a dozen times now, and let me be frank -- these guys are hacks. They are trying to run a high-volume business (with poor customer service) rather than a doctor's office. They are there to make money in as little time as possible, not to provide quality health care. Sekiya practically (and one time literally) has one foot out the door when he meets with you, and he tries to be done with you in under 2 minutes, and is usually successful in doing so, which results in extremely inadequate care. Ligresti is not much better in this regard, and frankly, I don't know how people understand him with the way he mumbles. I can't give these people any more money, regardless of how convenient the location is for me (it's the only reason I kept going back, foolish I know). If you still decide to go after reading this review, be sure not to make an early morning appointment. They rarely show up on time. read more

I needed a new dermatologist after my insurance changed and found Dr. Ligresti. The doctor is a nice guy, talked to me like a person and didn't rush me through any questions I had. Seems any time I go to the doctor they want to get on to the next person so I appreciated him taking the time. The office is clean, staff is always works with my schedule and the doc seems to know how to treat whatever I have at the time without a lot of back and forth visits.
