Breakfast is a hard meal to find traveling, but this little place in the middle of nowhere outside Yuma was amazing! The biscuits are fluffy and the bacon gravy is a flavorful twist on a classic. I used to really like this place but that was about 3 or 4 years ago. I've always liked the food but it's getting kind of expensive. $16.00 for an omelet and then they charge a split plate fee, which I don't really mind but they say it's cause we're taking 2 seats. Small restaurant in a small town serving mostly (but not exclusively) a small rv park. Inside has 8 tables and a counter area. We came for breakfast and got the last table. Our table orders omeletes, biscuit and gravy, and french toast. The food came out in a decent amount of time and was very hot. The omelets were loaded with ingredients and the pineapple in the Hawaiian was pretty good. The only thing that I would like better is if they used chedder instead of American cheese. The French toast was very good and the eggs were perfect. Bacon was crispy. The biscuits and gravy were just passable. The "works" omelete was a big pile of food. Not a bad breakfast place and we'll be back to try other options. read more

Our first time! We came for breakfast with friends & enjoyed ourselves. Split a chicken fried steak breakfast with my hubby & it was yummy! It's nothing fancy, just simple & nostalgic. The food is fair enough. We have gone there for breakfast. But the place is crowded, tables tight together. The restroom is barely clean and located in the center of the restaurant so when one opens the restroom door you're looking at someone's table of food. The decor is ancient. One time we arrived to find their water was off and they were still cooking! Ligurta Station is a local hangout for motorcyclist, desert quad riders and senior citizens. read more

I can put up with mediocre food, but miserable, unhappy servers that make you feel like they are put out by you coming in there? I don't need it. This owner just throws the food on the table and walks away. Never checks if you need anything else and if you ask, puts the item on the table and walks away without a word. The food is so-so at best. So, I will take my business to the many other restaurants in Yuma. There are many places where the staff is friendly and they make you glad to be around them. Took a drive to Ligurta. We heard they remodeled. All I saw was new paint. I've been there once before. The bathrooms were filthy and the faucet didn't work. The place is small so we had to wait for a table. I wanted to order a burger but the waiter said it was too early. So I ordered the hamburger patty. Seriously, why couldn't I just order my burger? The menu isn't very clear as to what the meals come with but it had eggs and toast and hashbrowns. I don't care for hash browns, the toast was not toasty and the patty tasted gross. The eggs were cooked perfectly though. Our meal sat up at the counter for awhile so maybe that's why the toast was soggy. The coffee is cheap so that's good. All in all it was not a good experience. My dad and my husband, who are rarely unhappy, agreed that it was bad. My dad even said it was a waste of a few hours of his life. The guy in charge was not very friendly. This is a fantastic seasonal breakfast spot. If you live in Yuma it's worth driving up over the hill. On Sunday the day I went they had to specials. Both of them were outstanding. They had a carrot cake pancake for those of you like something sweet that was amazing. Then they had a meat lover special. I would describe it as a baked egg and meat loaf. The guy working there said they have a special similar that most Sundays. So I'm gonna go back. The building is charming and old. The staff is super friendly and efficient and give great service. My coffee never got below halfway. It is well Ron fun and sales package goods in case you are going out and forgot you want to soda or beer or something. read more

Probably hands down some of the best chicken fried steak and white gravy I've had. Plus 50 cent coffee. A meal that can't be beat. FYI it does get a little crowded if you have more than a couple people in your group so plan ahead. Friend ordered Pork Chops and said they were very good. The guy that owns this place is not very friendly. His hours are posted however he doesn't open when he says he's going to, the food is OK. The beer is cold. After a long hot ride in the desert on our side by sides it would be nice if he would be open a little bit later but he closes promptly at 2 o'clock and if you happen to be standing outside he will shut the doorIn your face. read more

Steve, we wanted to let you know your RV Park has the best mountain views and the best privacy with minimal people to enjoy the park away from a major city. We will truly miss living there. Out of all RV Parks we rate yours the best and everyone was so friendly and super nice. We have stayed at luxury rv parks and yours is the best layout and we've been to Nevada to California to Arizona. Small dining area call for reservations if you have more than six. Fantastic food great service just a cool little cafe in the desert near a mobile home / RV park. Easy on and off freeway lots of RV and truck parking. Only 5 minutes from Fortuna foothills Yuma Arizona well worth the drive. read more

For last two weeks our group has came over the mountain from Yuma Arizona to have breakfast. They have a big sign out front that they will be opening October 3 well today is October 16 and they are still closed. One of our group even called over and they told her that they were open. They are not very dependable they need to put up a new sign that they're going to be close longer. Our group even noticed last year when that young waitress left things started going downhill. Kind like located in the end of the world. In this situation, they do service really nice food as we were so tired and hungry when we got there. As the only restaurant in the nearby 20 miles (or even more ), it's kind like a paradise in the desert . read more

Steve and the rest of the staff are super friendly not to mention that Teresa is an awesome cook! This is a great little campground/RV Park in the country east of Yuma. Stayed there last winter and plan to stay again in January. Nice clean pool and new laundry plus good little restaurant. I wish the restaurant was open in the evenings but understand that the fellow who runs this needs to spend time with his family too. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. read more

This is the "only" reason I drive 2100 miles to the Yuma area. Have been coming here since the 80's. My in-laws were coming way before that. This HAS to be the BEST restaurant in the world. That cook Teresa has to be the greatest. And Heather the waitress is so kind and gracious that she knows what we want as soon as we walk in that old stagecoach cafe....This used to be a stop for stagecoaches before going onto Yuma. They would change horses and let the passengers rest and have a bite to eat and rest their bumpy bones. Then later on it was a gas station for cars. Then a little cafe in the desert, then a RV Park to what it is now. There are many pictures on the walls showing this too. Like a little museum. Sometimes Heather knows us so well she is like family to me. Thanks all for listening to this Packer fan, but if you don' eat here at least once {and many more after} you'd might as well not eat at all. read more
