The service is awful, the machines don't work properly half the time, and they *CHARGE* you *$1 per minute* if you need them to fix one of *their* machine's problems! Saved a lot of money and time at Like New PCs and computer works better than it did brand new. Brandon the manager doubled the memory, cleared up a computer virus, and computer runs 100 times faster than it ever has (no exaggeration). I brought the computer in 15 minutes before closing on Wednesday and had it back by Friday. Plus I used the $50 off coupon they offer on Yelp. Additionally, the manager checked the specs on my current cell phone, and informed me that it's 4G compatible with a simple $10 fix, and that I don't need to buy a new cell phone like Cricket has been telling me for months. They're also authorized MetroPCS dealers and I've decided I'm switching to MetroPCS after finding out I could continue to use my current cell phone, keep my phone number, and have faster service for the same price I'm paying with Cricket. They also have a selection of very reasonably priced used desktop and laptop computers (including a beautiful Apple computer). After the excellent customer service I received, both in person and on the phone, and seeing their quality of workmanship, I will buy a computer here before I buy one anywhere else. read more

Had a great experiance with Like New PCs! I do a lot of work on my rig myself, but when my liquid cooling system broke I wanted someone with more experiance to take a look. I wasn't sure that this would be something they could do, but after talking with them I could instantly tell they had very indepth knowledge and would be perfect to fix my system. They took my PC in at 11am and I got it the SAME day (EOD) Everything was installed properly, they removed the old system cleanly, and they went out of there way to make that I had the best customer service possible. So, how often does something go wrong with your computer the day before a Holiday? These guys were great letting me bring my laptop in with a stick key 1 hour before they closed on Christmas Eve! Not only did they fix it while I waited, but they didn't charge me anything saying "Merry Christmas"! WOW, fantastic service that is getting more and more difficult to find! Old-school shop with today's tech. With a tough set of system-level issues, I found this shop willing and able to go the extra miles and then some, to make sure all is well in the end. Along the way, you get to learn a lot of useful nuggets on architecture, software, and how they work together -- or don't. Best is an intellectually credible process, that never seeks to mollycoddle the customer with black and white solutions that usually don't exist. I've been going to these folks since they opened and they have been absolutely fantastic in their service and prices! I intended to buy a computer there today but I haven't been able to reach them at all this week. I am guessing they are, sadly, out of business: they don't answer the phone ever and the mailbox is usually reported as full unless the phone just rolls over to a fax line. Too bad! Had 2 separate laptops in for repairs. Both fixed in a timely fashion but both laptops failed again within a short period. Paid $200 for a hard drive and software installation, after 2 charges computer stopped working. Went back as was told basically too bad. Should've just bought a new laptop and never messed with these folks. read more

This place really does it right. I've worked in IT, so I have a pretty good idea of what great service entails when it comes to PC repair. I ordered a new Toshiba Satellite laptop off of Amazon. I received my new PC only to find that it could not connect to the internet. I don't have the time, or patience to work on PC's like I did in the past. This is sometimes a hard one to admit/deal with, for me. Now, I find that I've got to entrust someone else with the task of repairing my PC. Well, I found that place with Like New PCs. These guys took my new laptop and kept me from having to RMA it back to Amazon. JJ found out that my wireless card and NIC had been improperly seated... so, he reseated them and added/updated their drivers. Needless to say, I was up and running again in no time. He also only charged me a diagnostic fee! This place is a local business... so give your support. I highly recommend this place. read more

They were amazing at getting my computer fixed in a very timely manner and didnt charge an arm and a leg. They replaced my ac/dc jack (charging port.) They were going to replace the cooling fan but we provided the wrong part. We will definitely be going back as soon as we get the correct part. Very great computer shop. Thanks guys! read more

Everyone in the shop knows what they are doing and they do it well. I trust my computer to Like New PC's. They tell me when it will be done and call me to come get it. Also, they tell me when I pick it up, if there is any problems, to give them a call. I would give them a five star rating but I am a cheap old lady and all computer repair costs always seem too high to me, but, on the other hand, a person probably won't find anyone cheaper, or, as the saying goes, you might get what you pay for! read more

I had my computer hacked and didn't know what to do. I went online and found Like New PCs and called their Arvada store. The guys in the store were incredible. I took my computer to them and they wiped it down. The price was unbelievably fair. They even called a few days later to make sure everything was working properly. They are the only store I will go to. A great experience and I couldn't be happier. read more

I purchased a laptop from like new pc's and immediately it started over heating and shutting down. because i bought it as a Christmas gift it had expired on the limited warranty. Upon downloading virus protection The scan revealed the ram was extremely low. pages stopped loading and this computer ran slower than the computer i had a friend refurbish that was a good 2 years older. When we did call like new pc's to purchase the ram they sold us two sticks for 60 dollars. The computer still did not work so we called in a computer technician who told us both sticks of ram were bad. we paid over 140 dollars to get screwed over again by like new pc's. they replaced the cost of the ram but who cares the techs cost was almost as much as the computer. The people who work at like new pc's sell computers with no ram and bad fans. I will never ever buy anything from them again and they should have a buyers beware posted on their window because they are selling lemons plain and simple. read more
