We had fun and the course had some nice water features. BUT it was not maintained well at all. Debris and river rock on the greens, turf was ripped, balls got stuck in seams, lots of trip hazards. Mostly there were weeds taking over the place. It looked like no one had pulled a weed in weeks. I realize it's the middle of summer and they take over fast, but I mean, the crab grass was keeping the balls from traveling down the course! Clean up the weeds, and it will be much better. read more

Fun golf course, reasonably priced, well-located and easy to find. There is a sign on the course that says a second game costs $5 which is strange to me. What for? Who is watching to make sure you don't go again? Otherwise it was great. read more

So run down and decrepit that we were unsure if it was even open. At $9 per person on a busy holiday weekend in a very touristy area, we expected this to be much nicer. It was probably the worst mini golf course I've ever played. There are no fun obstacles or decorations. Just a bunch of concrete, worn out putting surfaces, messy rock beds, and debris all over the course. Definitely will pass or make the drive over to Dubuque next time for a better quality course. read more

It's mini golf. A bit pricey and double-check the hours. More than a few holes where the ball might go in the water ( and they charge for lost balls). Still it was quite fun and challenging enough for adults but also fun fit kids. read more

Decent little place. Open til 11. There were frogs doing it on the fence around the place, part of the ambiance I guess. Course was in pretty good condition and it is taken care of. I can't tell you how many small town mini golf courses I've been too. The hardest part about some of them are all the junk that's on the course, this place not a leaf. read more

This is a great mini golf course that is really well maintained. Friendly owner that takes pride in his business. The course is well designed and rivals those in the Dells. Every time I am in the Galena area my husband and I make it a point to play here. read more

This place was delightful! The course is cute and well-maintained. Price was more than fair and the owner was so friendly. We were there late, the only people on the course and he was still very attentive. If I'm ever back in Galena I would stop by again. read more

Website says they open at 10, they open At 11. They DO NOT take debit or credit, that info is also not on the website. Course is basic and needs to be updated but reasonably clean. Not impressed with the staff. read more

We were in Galena at a family reunion weekend and went to Lil General to mini golf. Our group age span was 12 yrs to 79 yrs and the course was fun and challenging for all. The youngest got a hole in one and received a certificate and a picture was taken for the website. He was very excited! The course is well maintained and the cost was very affordable. We will definitely go back there when in Galena. read more

The hours on google dont match the hours on their door, they dont answer their phone which gives you to an answering machine that tells you some of the hours then refers you to the camp grounds website which posts hours that dont match with any of the other hours posted. So after driving by last night and seeing glow in the dark mini golf at 930 we show up at 905 to do the same and the hours on the website state theyre open. Show up and closed. So if youre going to be lazy enough to not answer your phone and refer people to the website then atleast have the correct hours on there. But looks to be your too lazy for that too.
