Just to give some context: I was at an event where the organizers gave everyone free tickets for Lil Moes food truck. This same event was also giving out pretty much endless free whiskey. Their food was amazingly good...until I found a black hair in the food...normally I'd be done...BUT...the food was so good in my inebriated condition that I removed it and finished eating. Went on Saturday 7/11/26 to try Lil Moes for the very first time. I saw it on tiktok and it really looked amazing. Well that was my first mistake! The wait time was over an hour, which I kinda expected. I was so disappointed in the quality of the food, now the portion size wasn't the issue it was the quality of the food it was discussing. The steak was so tough and the shrimp was what looked like bag shrimp!!!!. There was so much pepper I took a few bites and I just couldn't eat it. This wasn't a cheap experience by no means this double steak and shrimp cost me $50.00. However I did order their banana pudding and it was delicious not your normal for sure but good. This truck was at an event I attended. We were actually given a freebie potato. The options were chicken sausage and brisket. They only had brisket left when I went to order. It was a very large potato and very tasty. I wish the brisket had more bbq sauce and that the toppings (sour cream, cheese, chives etc.) were on top of the beef. Overall, everything was flavorful and the potato was tender. The wait was about 15 minutes; standard for a food truck. I actually expected longer since they were at an event. I've been to this Food Truck several times, and they have not disappointed me yet. if you did not know on Tuesdays and Wednesdays you can get a small potato for only $10 and that's for a different options you can choose from this is such a great deal because the potatoes are so filling I personally wouldn't order anything bigger than a small because you won't even be able to finish it because the potatoes are so stacked. my favorite has to be the seafood baked potato and the trio baked potato which comes with brisket sausage and chicken. The customer service is always super efficient and friendly and the ambience is a food truck so you're outside so there's really nothing to discuss when it comes to the atmosphere of where it is. The worst food truck experience EVER. I was the second person to order at 3pm after waiting for over an hour because they opened late "due to rain". Mind you there were 3 employees on the truck and appeared to be working on food. it was a light sprinkle for 5 minutes. Don't blame the rain for your tardiness. I ordered at 3:03pm. I didn't get my food until 4:19. People standing around for over an hour waiting for their food and he still was taking orders. Service was Horrible, they post on Facebook that they open at 5Pm but when you get there they tell you not till 5:30pm. Your order and you pay but food isn't even near by. I ordered the Moe Bowl. Y'all this bowl put me in a food coma . It was delicious. What is in the Moe Bowl you may ask? It's a bed of dirty rice topped with a fried catfish filet, a creamy seafood sauce with shrimp, crawfish, and sausage. When I tell you I had food for days because they are not stingy with the food. This was my first and Last time ordering anything from this place!!! The service was absolutely the worst ever!!!! First of all, I arrived at 4:50 pm and was told by someone inside the truck that they did not open until 5 pm. I waited and returned to the window at 5pm. After waiting for a few minutes, they finally opened the window and took my order. I ordered a Seafood Turkey leg but was told they were waiting on the Turkey legs to arrive and they should be there within 5-10 minutes. I left to run a quick errand and returned in less than 15 minutes. I asked if the Turkey legs had arrived and was told no, they hadn't but should real soon. I then decided to order a 2 meat baked potato (sausage and ribs). I paid and was told it would be about 5 minutes. I returned to my car and waited 5 minutes before returning to the window. I was then told that there were 4 orders ahead me and it would be another 15 minutes. I returned to my car Again and waited. When I finally got my order and made it home in less than 10 minutes, the cheese was hard and the meat was not very flavorful! I was only given one rib along with the sausage. To be honest.... I have never had a good experience at Lil Moe's Potatoes. The first time I went, they were parked next to a popeyes in Humble. I waited around 45 min in line. Once I got to the front, he tells me that he only had sandwiches. Second time, (location gas station next to a carwash) I arrived right at 4:45. The advertised time is 5pm. Seven minutes before they were supposed to open, they post on Instagram that they were running 30 min late... smh. So, I'm the second car in line, I finally got to the window at 5:45 pm. The owner tells me that the baked potatoes are not done.. he asked me to wait 30 more minutes. So I go to a different restaurant to pick of food for my kids and came back..now its around 6:30, I'm still waiting. I didn't get my food until almost 7 pm... smh.... Third time, they are located at the NTB parking lot, I ordered the seafood turkey leg. This is after waiting around 30 minutes in line to get my order taken.. 5:30 pm (30 minutes after they were open). The owner told me that he was waiting for his son to bring the turkey legs.. he told me to give him 30 minutes. I set there in that parking lot almost an hour waiting for my order....which was around 6:30 pm... The truck advertises that they open at 5pm, but the food is never ready at 5pm. Fourth time, which was around a week or two ago. I was in line, I saw that the line was moving quickly. I was excited because normally the wait to get your order taken is up to an hour. I get up there and they don't have any turkey legs. I know its a potato truck, but they heavily market and advertise their turkey legs. So, I ordered just the rice with the seafood and was charged 25.00. So, today, like all others, I waited close to an hour to get my order taken.. I ordered two seafood turkey legs for 75.00. Yes, 75.00. I get home and one of the turkey legs is the size of a Church's drumstick. Also, the major component of the turkey leg is the rice. They did not put the rice on the turkey legs, and instead of informing me that they were out, they just gave it to me and charged regular price....The number they list on Instagram goes automatically to vmaiĺ, and if it does ring, no one answers. After several attempts of trying to correct my order, they responded on Instagram by offering me a 5 dollar refund per turkey leg. So........
