I worked with Preston to request a quote for a bathroom door replacement. The service also required…read morepainting and sealing. During a free on-site assessment, Preston answered all our questions & discussed several options before we decided what we needed. Preston prepared our quote within 24 hours, and the pricing was very fair & reasonable. We needed the door replaced within 4 weeks in preparation for guests, but Preston was able to schedule us within 2 weeks of accepting the quote. Installation day: Preston arrived 10 mins early to set up, and work was handled by Preston, Nick O., and a 3rd worker I didn't get the name of (sorry). All 3 were very professional and friendly. They were also all very patient and nice with our dog who kept barking at them. The doorframe they were working with is nonstandard size and uneven, but they successfully fit a new door without issues and within the schedule. They were self-sufficient and didn't need to ask me many questions or need my help with anything, which made the day really easy for me. The door looks great, fits perfectly, and is super smooth. Unfortunately, we had some busted screens during the process of the home construction, but Kawika (service bruddah) came out checked um, and when he was here I kept asking, what about this one and this one and this one too. He just took them all out, got them repaired and reinstalled them no questions asked. Super Aloha.And this is months after we've been living in the house. Would I recommend....absolutely! Maybe Mana can also throw in a round of golf at OCC as well if you purchase now. Update update, nearly a year later Kawika was very thorough and wanted to ensure our sliding doors were working. He was very tedious and ensured they were installed to the best of his ability. He also noticed walking by some windows that there were some weep holes missing and he offered to fix that too! This company has stolen $17,026 of our money (more, since this does not factor in the rising cost…read moreof materials if and when we can afford to proceed with this work, having lost over $17K, or the interest we would have received the past 11+ months on this $). We are now having to resort to legal action. We prepaid the $17K last Sept. 2025 for 3 sliding glass doors and a window. On Sept. 5, Mana told us installation would happen in November. November came and went. Since then we have repeatedly emailed, called and texted both Mana and Paul. We got some response initially, and a promise for delivery in Spring 2026. Spring came and went. We have since been completely ghosted as we have tried to contact them, sometimes daily, asking for an installation date or for a refund. In late July, we sent a letter from a lawyer saying that if we did not receive the materials we have paid for, or a refund within 3 weeks, we would pursue legal action. Unfortunately, this is now what we are forced to do. This company installed windows for us a few years ago and our experience was good. I provided a 5-star rating in 2023. We maintain some hope that Paul and Mana will do the minimally correct thing and deliver the materials we have paid for, or refund our money.

I live in a high rise condo that happens to have several "push out" windows that measure about 5'…read morelong x 12" high. Cannot find a generic window screen to accommodate this size, so I began contacting window companies to see if they could help.....and most could not. I called KKTF and got one of those outgoing announcement answering device that informs you that if you want to leave a message for ...... press 1, or if you want to leave a message for ..... press 2........but, as it continued, I hung up and decided I would call back, and perhaps get lucky with a real person. 5 minutes later, I receive a message on my phone screen "Aloha....Leana from KKTF Hawaii. I received a missed call from this number along with a voicemail but no message.... is there something I can help you with?" I immediately thought this woman missed a career working for the FBI tracking down criminals. But, I did call her back and gave her my situation, and she said she could send somebody out to do measurements, and set an appointment up for the following morning at 9 AM with Sam. Sam showed up on time, took the measurements and within a week I received a quote along with another neighbor in my building. I was informed by Leana if we both had our installation on the same day we would save ourselves $50 each. Bingo! Upon completion, Sam arrived and because there was no prototype for me to reference how the screens might look, I was pleasantly surprised of how beautiful they turned out. Kudos to to Leana, because she always returned a call quickly, and always professional and kind. I did call her the day after the install and finally asked why is the business called KKTF....(which, honestly makes no sense to me, but what the hell do I know?) KKTF are the initials to the owners sons name.

The panes of glass wouldn't stay in and the cranks would work well or at all. I called another window company first and they said that jalousies couldn't be fixed, that entire window had to be replaced. The price tag was huge. Then I found KKTF. They came and did an estimate that was reasonable and were able to come within my timeframe. I started with just one set of windows as I was leaving on vacation. They did such a great job, I had them come back and do the rest of the apartment. It is like I have all new windows! Fantastic! I highly recommend them. They were very polite and cleaned up after themselves. Truly a pleasure to work with!

He sent the A-team of Frank Bolton and Travis Beyer who were courteous and very experienced. They quickly realized they had a difficult transition from ladder to roof and instead of risking an incident they called for backup and the windows were promptly replaced in an hour. Alex was here every single day. He brought Scott and Anthony with him on different days and I couldn't have been happier with the crew we were given. Every morning we talked about the plan for the day, and what they needed from me. Some days they needed nothing, some days I had decisions to make. The thing I liked the best was I never had to bring anything to Alex's attention. He was on top of everything. Taking a little longer to get a certain window done? Alex told me. A screen needed to be resized and put in, he let me know before I noticed it wasn't there. Or the fact that one of the sliding door screens came in slightly bent. Just enough that you had to be particular about how you closed it all the way.. Alex told ME about the problem. That he already had a new one on order and they would get it handled. I didn't have to find it first a week later and ask to get it replaced. If there was a problem, he already had a solution. And when the typical finishing for the windows wasn't going to work, he took the time to find a solution that came out absolutely stunning. The initial quote and set up process wasn't quite as smooth. I felt like the communication could have been better once we signed the contract. Lack of contact made us a few weeks later in the schedule of getting them installed and that was a bummer. But the actual install couldn't have gone better, and it was meant to be I guess. Window world won't be your cheapest option. But they back their work, they stay until it's finished and the lifetime guarantee on their windows is great peace of mind. I would recommend them a million times over.

Affordable, but not long lasting windows! I had a broken double pane window replaced on October…read more2023 and three years later 2026, the frame to seal the glass has already fallen off. The window was sealed with double stick foam tape that erodes from weather and dust. All but one of the four exterior glass retainer strips have fallen out leaving the double pane unsealed. Through the exposed frame, I can see the edges of the original cracked glass meaning they did not remove the whole frame to replace the window, they just cracked the old glass out and attempted to build up the thickness of the original frame with cheap double stick foam tape. That foam tape is also eroding from weather and is pulling away between the double pane, protruding into the view of the window. It does not look good.

I called Anytime Handyman to come out and replace 2 damaged doors and install 2 new doors. I sent a text message to let Tyler letting him know my lock box number since it's a rental and no one will be there to let him in. I gave explicit instructions as to which doors needed to replaced. (it was obvious because of the visible damages). He sent me the estimate, I agreed and paid for the doors so he could order it. They went back to the rental, and installed the new doors as planned. Here's the prolblem, they took off the wrong door (not damaged) and put the new door on. Leaving the damaged door still damaged. That's not the end of it, the latch was not installed properly, it had a hole and crack. As for the other door that they installed, there was also a problem, the strike plate and latch were off centered and wasn't closing properly. I called Tyler to tell him the wrong door was removed and replaced, and sent him a snap shot of the text I sent him when he went out for the estimate, explaining which doors needed to be replaced. His answer was, that's not how he interpreted it. Everything seemed to be wrong with the job. From the wrong door being replaced, to the damages to the door and the other door's latch not closing properly. He said not to worry and it's normal it's not a problem, just let him do his job. Now I'm no handyman but I do know how to install a lockset, and I've never seen a hole of that size, nor did I ever see a strike plate and latch installed at an angle. In Tyler's defense, he did say if I'm not happy he would give me a new door. But at this point, my trust with their quality of work has diminished. Not even a new door would make me continue to do business with them. I will take that loss, and stop all remaining repairs with this company. Update: I read the business owner's responses to my review. First of all, the "so called Painter's" was my daughter and son in law who came over the weekend to help paint the doors, only to find the damaged doors and discrepancies on the other door as well, including the wrong door that was removed. I would have no reason to damage these doors that I had already paid in Full upon completion on Weds. Lastly, it speaks volumes when a business owner would illegally break a homeowner's right of privacy and send photos to anyone requesting it, without prior authorization. I stand by my review.
