The fact that they requested detailed info about my son and what helps soothe/ease him etc is amazing. As a mom a big concern for me is leaving my baby with a stranger all day that doesn't know what he likes/dislikes. Also the fact that they have an app to communicate and send photos/updates throughout the day is so so great. They also include formula/baby food with is a huge plus. I honestly couldn't be happier. Both me and my husband are working parent and this came in as a shock and had no idea what to do. After doing some research and visited a few schools in a matter of days we decided to go with primrose. While they didn't necessarily had the space at the moment they were able to make an exception based on our situation. Is it an expensive school? Yes, very expensive to be honest. However , the level of education and care he received was unmatched. I do truly think they care about their kids and the quality is very high. Several times my son has come home with missing socks, bruises and scratches, a bust lip and it was never explained no one ever has a clue as to what goes on among the children. I've caught them (teachers, and the admin staff) several times talking negatively about students, parents, and enticing awkward social situations between children for their own entertainment which I assumed were isolated situations. Its understandable that ( untrained ) kids get rough especially when sharing toys but this is another story. I get a call ( I didn't get a call the first time my son burst his lip) that my son burst his lip at school. It's explained to me that another child "pushed" my son and he fell and busted his lip (same story as the first time). They tell me that the child that pushed him is "special needs" and they are going to talk to the parents. I go to the school to see my son and see no signs of a burst lip, what I see instead is my son's face looking like it was mauled by a wild animal with scratches deep and shallow all over his face, on both his cheeks, across his nose and in the cavities of his eyes as if someone had attacked him steadily and repeatedly. I ask every single teacher in the school if they were there and if they knew what happened. ONLY ONE "teacher" admitted to being there and she tells me that she has no idea what happened she just saw my son sitting by himself in a corner alone looking upset with his head down so she went over to him and noticed that he had blood on his shirt. MY SON ENDURED A BRUTAL ATTACK AND WAS LEFT TO SIT THERE AND BLEED ALL DOWN HIS SHIRT (see picture) ALONE UNTIL SOMEONE NOTICED HIM. I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED BY THE FACILITY AND I WILL BE REPORTING THEM TO EVERY AGENCY POSSIBLE.

Today as I go to take my son a bath he has a bite mark on his arm which I didn't see because I sent him to school in a long sleeve shirt to avoid more possible nail marks. Luckily I found him a new school and he will no longer be attending. These kids are clearly not being watched which is these teachers only job in the hours I pay for my son to be in their care. Please take your kid elsewhere. I do appreciate the two girls in the front office. One was nice enough to try and console my son and the other tried rewinding the cameras to try and see what happened. But as my son would be in the care of the teachers who didn't seem too concerned when I showed my sons injuries I refuse to let him stay in this school.

The VPK classrooms were poorly maintained, with inexperienced and untidy teachers. Honestly, it was a disappointing experience. However, I recently found out the school had changed ownership and name, so I decided to give it another chance -- and I'm so glad I did! The new owner Fatima gave me a tour and explained the amazing changes she's making, including the implementation of new learning programs and improvements in cleanliness and organization. The difference is truly night and day. The school is clean, well-organized, and clearly focused on providing a high-quality environment for children. I'm so happy I chose to enroll my child now. The transformation has been incredible, and I highly recommend My First Learning Center 100%! It has done a complete 180 -- I feel confident and excited about my child's learning experience here.

In 2008, we enrolled our son Adam Schorr into your one year old classroom with Ms. Millie. The unconditional love and care he received was immeasurable... Adam cried a lot but the staff worked with him and gave him nothing but LOVE and COMPASSION; which was exactly what he needed the most. Eventually, Adam came around and began to evolve as a student and a little person. In 2009, our infant son Daniel Schorr began in the infant room. As a new mom with now an infant in daycare, the teachers and staff coached me in what to bring and how to pack what he needed so that he may have the best experience at school. Now 2012, Adam has graduated from VPK and Daniel is going into the 4 year old classroom! Unfortunately, our family has to move and Daniel cannot complete his daycare career here. During our tenure the Director changed. Both Ms Jade and Ms Colleen (the new director) were very good and along with the assist Director (Ms Julie) they made our experience there a good one. We went to visit last year and to our happiness and surprise almost everyone that was there when our daughter was, still worked there. That is rare for this business. The only reason we left was my job changed and I moved our daughter closer to home and also wanted her to make some new friends she'd be going to kindergarten with.
