When I asked for flexible, as-needed care while also working with a midwife, I was told I could be removed. After canceling one appointment, I was. They advertise themselves as "feminist." There is nothing empowering about coercing pregnant patients into recurring visits to access basic prenatal testing. Add in Pacini's ownership ties to El Mirador Surgery Center, and it's hard not to question the financial motivations behind their policies. Even more concerning: when I asked multiple practitioners including Pacini herself about progesterone use while trying to conceive and during pregnancy, the repeated response was "I don't have experience with that." In a women's health practice. That answer alone speaks volumes. Retrieving my records was another ordeal. I was told to pick them up at the Yucca Valley location, which is listed on Google as a vacant building. After locating a small, unmarked rental window inside another medical office, I was asked to pay $35 for printed records. The records contained no documentation of the phone calls I had with the office, including my complaint to the manager. Cold. Punitive. Profit-driven. Proceed at your own risk.

Despite his youthful appearance, he has a kind way of dealing with patients that eases worries. His team at the surgery center also took great care of me during the procedure. The ultrasound tech was cold and clearly unhappy to be there, with no bedside manner at all. Once you're finally called back, you're shuffled from person to person and only get a few rushed minutes with the doctor. It feels more like a conveyor belt than actual care. Communication is just as bad. If you try to call with questions, expect to sit on hold for 30 to 45 minutes before reaching anyone. The biggest red flag for me was scheduling. I originally saw Dr. Nahar, who left the practice. I later booked a yearly appointment with Dr. Garza months in advance, rearranged my entire day to attend, and showed up only to find out my appointment had been canceled and Dr. Garza had also left. I received no call, text, or email notifying me. This was the second doctor I had booked who left the practice, with zero communication. Overall, there is a clear lack of bedside manner, no respect for patients' time, and serious turnover issues among providers. Something is off here. I would not recommend this office.
