Great experience today and always at Lillian's in Greenwich! The manager is always kind to me on the phone when I make my appointments and when I arrive at the salon. In addition, he always asks me if I'm happy with my lashes etc. I always request April as my technician, though I've had other technicians who have also been very good, and she does a wonderful job with my lashes and not only do they look great when I leave but they look great 4+ weeks later! April is very gentle and the salon is clean, quiet and calming to the point I usually fall asleep. I highly recommend this business. read more

Terrible. I made my appointment and I could not make it due to a death in the family. I get 3 phone calls in a row the day of the appointment, I had missed my appointment. I call back and a man answers the phone very aggressively, and starts screaming at me because I could not make it in. I told him what was going on and he told me he did not care. He began cursing at me, screaming and not letting me speak so I hung up the phone. I then get a couple of phone calls and text messages after I left a bad review on Yelp, I just saw the message I got sent on Yelp a couple of minutes ago and it was "Lilly," I'm assuming she is Lilian. Lilly told me that everything I had experienced was wrong, then added a couple more lies, AND THEN told me the next time I want to come in (which is never) that I would have to pay a deposit fee! I went in today for my bday and I had a Groupon . I was so excited to have my lashes done for the first time in years. The man at this front desk was rude, he kept telling me that I cannot get an another Groupon. I understood the first time so I have no idea why he kept telling me four times! Also when i was done he kept telling me I was opening my eyes which i was blinking a lot which is true, but I stopped blinking at one point. I did open my eyes once and he kept saying I was opening my eyes multiple times and he saw me. I also regret giving the technician a 30 percent tip even though she didn't deserve it. I was told my the guy at the front desk that my technician had a hard time with me because of this. I'm sure I'm not the only person who has blinked. I came here w my daughter & was incredibly impressed by the detail of their workmanship. It truly is a difference to go to a specific salon that specializes in only eyelashes as opposed to a nail salon or hair salon that ALSO will do your lashes. I'm definitely would not recommend coming this place. I paid $200 for what's supposed to be a refill and he told me if I did not come back to pay tip in cash he'll charge my card without my permission. When I asked him where in the policy does it say he can do that, he began yelling at me and threatening me. There's much better places that will treat you better and cheaper too! Every-time I come in for my appointment it is a new lash artist NEVER THE SAME! Today after my lash appointment I was not happy with the outcome.. although I didn't like my lashes because they are pointing in all different directions and choppy. I still paid the $170 they charged me!!! At the time of payment the so called owner was screaming at me, wouldn't let me leave and was telling me I was causing a problem because I didn't want to tip for the poor service I was given. I told them I've tipped every other time since I've been please with the service. While try to explain that tipping is optional he got up from behind the desk and the other female employee had to hold him back because he was bucking up at me. In addition another client who was there stood up and asked him to clam down. His aggressive behavior was absolutely disgusting especially to someone who's been a loyal customer for over a year!!! I have been going to this place for about a year and have had nothing but an excellent experience. This was the first time I started getting lashes, and during my first appointment, they took the time to explain differences between lashes. They are always careful with masks and always gentle during the lash removal/attachment. Easy to book appointments and always accommodating with my work schedule as well. There was one time where I felt my lashes didn't look as full as usual. I brought it up to one of the lash tech and they fixed it right away. They are super professional and always welcoming. I went over my 3 week refill as I misunderstood the timeframe but they still accommodated by charging as 3 week refill and explaining the time frame. Not a good experience. I had purchased a Groupon, and when I got there they said I can't use the Groupon unless I pay an extra $50 because for what I wanted I needed to pay more. However, I was confused because I just wanted the most natural look. I couldn't totally understand them through their accents. With that said, it didn't make sense why I'd need to pay more, but I did since I was there already, and was arguing back and forth but still just could not understand them. The end result was way more dramatic than I requested- definitely not a natural look at all. They don't look bad if that's what you're wanting, but overall very unhappy with the experience. I believe the biggest issue was a difficulty understanding them due to language barrier. I still do not know whether or not they removed the ones I had on before or not. I've been getting my lashes done in NYC since 2009, and I promise you their "mink " eyelash extensions are synthetic mink. still not sure about their silk ones but the glue they use isn't top of the line either. P.S. The so called "manager" /receptionist was very rude and so was "Nuki" simply because I didn't want her to remove the extensions from 3 weeks ago. No matter what they tell you, the truth of the matter is: your lashes will end up getting removed right along with the extensions. The receptionist guy "Jay" was arguing with me about it in a loud manner even though I never once raised my voice nor insulted them. First time ever that my gratuity was only 15%. read more

I've been to most of the highly rated lash extensions in nyc and this was one of my best experiences. I didn't wait at all and I received the full attention from Lilian. She was very very gentle and the lash came out exactly like I asked. They were light natural comfy and lasted me a good three weeks on vacation, super impressed. In terms of COVID safety, I was given hand sanitizer, my temperature was checked, everyone was properly distanced etc, and when I left I saw the paper sheet I lied on got immediately changed, again impressed of what they are doing. I also noticed that they can do 3D, as far as I know it'd require much more techniques and experiences, but I guess seeing from Lilian's expertise I'm not surprised they offer it, will try next time! :) read more
