I'm here on a Saturday morning for the first time to try them out. The hours say 11 to 3 and very disappointing. It is now 1108 and it is not open. No sign of activity. Really disappointing.

I happened upon this cute bakery while I was waiting for my boyfriend to get a haircut next door. Lili was so kind and patient with me and the croissant breakfast sandwich was everything I wanted it to be. Will be returning!

Pink and gold strawberries, strawberry cream puffs and brownies.

I didn't purchase these myself, but they were brought to a baby shower; the most beautiful strawberries brownies and cream puffs I have ever seen. Absolutely gorgeous and delicious too! Everybody loved them so I had to ask where they were from so I could write a review. I will definitely order from here in the future!

Lilipops is a cute bakery and cafe tucked away in a strip mall. The owner is friendly and a wonderful baker. Although the freshly made scones, croissants, cheesecakes and pastries will tempt you, save some room for a sandwich. The sandwiches are fresh and definitely large enough to spilt or save half for another meal. There are plenty of seats inside and two tables in the shade outside. Bonus: right next door is an amazing aquarium store that's worth a visit too.

This bakery is beautiful and smells devine. We tried Lillipops for the first time and have officially found our new favorite bakery. We tried the strawberry cream puff, San Sebastián cheesecake, chocolate cake cup and baklava. It was all very delicious and freshly made. Literally can't wait to go back to try the coffees and sandwiches

I was looking for a quiet and calm place to enjoy a cup of coffee and relax. Lilipops definitely provided that. Rose Latte was a new flavor I experienced and I don't regret it. The lady in the front patiently explained all the items and gave some suggestions. Long story short, I liked this new corner to spend some afternoons.

Delicious food and excellent service! The exceptionally sweet owner made the experience even more memorable.

Quite impressed with this bakery! Aesthetically, it's decorated very beautifully, and all the treats are also decorated beautifully. They say you eat it with your eyes first! The actual taste is also delicious. The price point is higher, but you do get what you pay for. She made a special gluten free/flourless chocolate cake for my sister's birthday and it was a hit! She also had macarons in elaborate shapes, which I've never seen before. The owner is very friendly and warm. They also make sandwiches, which I tried one of - good, but I'd mostly come back for the beautiful treats, in my honest opinion!

    Cozy environment!

Lovely little bakery (and some sandwich offerings) shop! Got the beef chimichurri and mortadella sandwiches today. DELICIOUS!! Do not pass up a sandwich! They are packed with flavor, are not overly seasoned or salty, and are not obscenely huge (The Trough or Mr Pickles - good sandwiches but unnecessarily huge). We also brought home some desserts. My favorite is the chocolate chip twist. Also picked up a cream filled horn with chocolate, strawberry croissant, cheesecake and a couple cupcakes. This is a wonderful bakery with a warm and inviting owner and vibe. Just charming!!

Stopped in for lunch and left with way more than I planned on buying (as usual with good bakeries)…read more Got the turkey croissant sandwich, which was solid -- the croissant itself was flaky and clearly baked in-house. We also ordered a simple ham and cheese omelette, served with a side of their sliced baguette -- again assuming was fresh baked, because it was delicious. Simple dish, done right, which honestly says a lot about a kitchen. But the danishes stole the show. We grabbed a few to try, and the blueberry one was outstanding -- like, stopped-mid-conversation-to-comment-on-it good. Not overly sweet, good fruit-to-pastry ratio, perfect texture. Ariana helped us and was an absolute sweetheart -- even let us sample a pastry we were debating on before we committed. That kind of thing goes a long way, especially when you're trying to decide between six things that all look amazing in the case. Atmosphere was great too, comfortable spot to sit and eat instead of just grab-and-go. Will definitely be back to work through the rest of the pastry case. 10/10. Photos didn't make the cut unfortunately, next time!

Their son in particular is phenomenal and always made every interaction pleasant. The baked goods are fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. While there was one interaction in the past that felt a little more business-focused than hospitality-focused regarding a mall discount, it was far from enough to take away from the overall experience this bakery consistently provides. Manager ( not the owners ) was upset I wasn't able to offer a mall discount when they were able too. Came to the point she would verbally say we wouldn't ( myself and crew members) wouldn't be receiving it. Personally not a big deal. Most I'd spend was 5-7$ and discount was less than a dollar. Still a phenomenal bakery At the end of the day, great ownership, great products, and great people. Small businesses like this deserve support, and I'm always happy to recommend them.

Extremely Disappointing Service -- It's About the Principle…read more We ordered a tuna brioche sandwich and were asked whether we wanted a salad or fries. I clearly said fries. When I received the bill, I noticed I had been charged separately for the sandwich and a side of fries. Since we were sharing the sandwich, I asked for it to be cut in half. After having to ask again, the sandwich finally arrived on a small plate. We then had to ask for a second plate so we could each have our own. The entire experience felt unnecessarily complicated and showed a real lack of attention to basic customer service. After waiting more than half an hour, we asked about the fries we had ordered and already paid for. Instead of simply checking the order, the server asked to see my receipt, which made me feel as though he was questioning whether I was telling the truth. After some time, he returned and admitted that he had made a mistake when charging us. He explained that what I had paid for the fries was actually the full price of the sandwich, and if we still wanted fries, we would have to pay for them again. The fries were only $2, so this was never about the money. What was upsetting was the principle. You made the mistake, not the customer. I had already left approximately a 20% tip, and I simply expected the restaurant to honor the mistake rather than come back and ask me for another $2. When I pointed this out, I was told the manager would not allow it. Honestly, the $2 mistake cost you a customer. I will not return, and I would not recommend this place. It's not about the price of the fries--it's about how you make your customers feel. After spending our money here and leaving a good tip, I expected to feel that our business was appreciated. Instead, I left feeling that it simply wasn't.

From the start, you're welcomed with the fresh scent of baked bread, fresh pastries, and coffee. I ordered the Ronnie on rye and my husband ordered the eggs Benedict. It was such a delicious twist on a breakfast item to have a hot pastrami sandwich with egg, cheese, hash brown, and extra Dijon. Being pregnant, this was perfect. I tried my husband's eggs Benedict and it was delicious, as well. The bun was so soft and fluffy and created a great base for the dish. Finally, the coffees were nicely balanced and my half sweet vanilla latte had just the right amount of flavor. This cafe is bustling for good reason! It's just because I don't know what it means to practice financial discernment when it comes to fresh bread. And welllllll, look at who's back at Brio Brio Bakery & Cafe again...... I used to come here way more often back when I had recurring appointments in the area, but these days I rarely ever find myself in South OC. Tonight, however, I had a last minute opportunity fall into my lap when I was invited off the wait list to attend a Yelp Elite event at Onyx Golf. Naturally, I had to make an "unnecessary" bakery detour before moseying my way over to the actual main event. Listen -- you have your priorities and I have mine. We listen and we don't (critically) judge! Upon arriving to my old stomping grounds, I immediately went for my usual: the hojicha Basque cheesecake. Some things don't need to be reinvented. It's still rich and creamy as ever, and it's basically the reason I still come back to this place. Since I don't get down here as often anymore, I figured I'd live life a little more frivolously and grab some items I haven't tried before, such as their prime beef curry, kurobuta miso sausage, honey toast, and a GF brownie. My plan for a sweet treat quickly evolved into a larger commitment of carbohydrates, but honestly, I'd like to think of these items as a gift from past me to future me. Brio Brio is also running a promo right now where you get a free cookie with purchase during certain hours. I just want to be fully transparent that I don't remember what those hours are or how long the promo is running, just that it's a weekday ordeal. I know, incredibly insufferable Yelp Elite reporting on my part. You'll simply just have to go in and ask them about it or look for the signage near the register, and then purchase that item you need to qualify for the deal to begin with. Consider my review a very detailed advertisement about a potentially complimentary cookie that idk how to explain the sourcing means for. Lmao, my bad, y'all. Either way, it was refreshing to visit again after all these years. If you're stopping by Brio Brio, you really need to get the hojicha Basque cheesecake. That's singlehandedly the menu item I'll keep coming back for, even when it means I'll be suffering in rush hour traffic on the drive back home.
