My therapist was Shelly and she did a good job but she was not there a few times I was and I had the Therapist Assistant Alexia. She was so patient and sweet and very helpful. I also LOVE Amy! I spent the majority of my first two weeks post-op in the emergency room with infections. The surgery site spat sutures for 6 months. My elbow has never and will never be the same. He was absolutely nowhere to be found afterwards and nobody would put us in contact with him. He was very short with me, I need a knee replacement, I'm bone on bone, have done physical therapy & cortisone shots, it was time for the replacement. All Dr. Husain gave me was a 4 page paper on how to heal from a painful experience and/or surgery (which I have yet to get) He also had to "see" me walk, and wanted to teach me to walk correctly again. I tend to walk differently because of the knee pain I experience, and I'm more bow legged because of my knees being severely off. He pushed a diet on me and never really talked about the knee replacement that was needed. I was definitely put off by him not wanting to speak about that, and pushed the eating right & diet paperwork, plus teaching me how to walk correctly again isn't going to put cartilage back in my knees.
