This was exactly the experience we were hoping for! Cabins come with mini fridge outside grill, firepit, beds, couches, and tv with cable. The park itself has WiFi. We brought our two dogs and they are having a blast. The lake is a short walk down the hill and perfect place to take a little swim with the pups! If the cabin wasn't rented out for the weekend we would of stayed the entire week. We might even come back after this weekends renter is out. These cabins are being restored over the fall and winter of 2018 and will be ready for overnight rentals starting May 1, 2019. Each open cabin is about 400 square feet consisting of bunk beds, a full size bed, pull-out couch and kitchen table. Each cabin has electricity, however there is no plumbing. Fear not, there is a hand pump well and seasonal restroom centrally located between the 4 cabins as well as showers and flush restrooms just up at the hall for your use. The cabins are right on Friess Lake too which is 121 acre lake with a maximum depth of 48 feet. It's a perfect lake for fishing, swimming, and paddling a kayak, canoe, or paddle board (rentals onsite)! Glacier Hills is located just 2.5 miles from Holy Hill in the beautifully Kettle Moraine! Make sure to checkout all the amazing golf and recreational opportunities as well as all the local amazing restaurants/bars too!

Our group loved shooting pool, feeding the jukebox, playing pinball, and taking turns at the one-armed bandit all while enjoying a roaring fire near the full-sized, classic wooden bar. the hot tub was truly awesome and large enough for us all to enjoy and we also loved taking advantage of the huge dining room to play games or the super comfy den area to hang out and watch movies. We loved the layout of the upstairs bedrooms giving everyone privacy but also being near each with a vintage hotel vibe. I couldn't get over the wrap-around balcony shared by all the bedrooms...loved it... so many details big and small that truly make this place an original. Seeing as it was early January we couldn't truly appreciate the huge yard with its many statues and sculptures (and a vintage phone booth that works) as well as the close proximity to the water, but I hope we can stay again when it's warm to take it all in during the peak season. The host and his assistant are super attentive and very responsive. It's clear they put a lot of time and planning into trying to give everyone the best experience possible. My only regret is that we didn't bring more people with us to share this treasure! I highly recommend.

Coffee service is excellent and included with nespresso machine, milk, non-cow milk and frother. Workout space is in basement and not bad. Very clean. Mariott clean. It's like staying at a super contemporary home away from home. The downtown property opened in 2022 and features 31 rooms. My wife and I were in town for a quick visit and a local suggested we stay at Kinn. Among the differences, you enter a five-digit code to access the property and your room and there is no front desk. Nearly everything is done by text. There is a small staff on duty around the clock. We stayed on the third floor and when the elevator opened, I was blown away by the kitchen and dining space. This would be a fabulous setting for a corporate retreat, a bachelor/bachelorette party or a family reunion. There is also a rooftop event space. The rooms are spacious, with super tall ceilings. The local furnishings and artwork are exceptional. The bath and the walk-in shower are huge. Super comfy. The kitchen does offer a Nespresso coffee maker, cereal and yogurt for breakfast. The Milwaukee Public Market is a block away if you want to stock up on additional food to prepare. Check it out!

We understand owners had family obligation that day, but why have customers if you can't be there? We were okay until we read the reviews from previous guests in the room books. There are a series of paths, a few fountains, and some nice areas where you can relax. They rent out the gardens for parties and weddings.
