I had a very disappointing experience with this alteration shop. I stopped by on a Monday afternoon during their posted business hours to ask if they could take my measurements for a dress I was planning to order and possibly bring to them for alterations if needed. The door was locked, and although someone was clearly inside, she refused to come to the door or even ask what I needed. She wouldn't open the door, acknowledge me, or offer any assistance whatsoever. I wasn't asking for a complicated service, just a simple question about taking measurements and the complete lack of basic customer service was shocking. Lilly, when I tell you that you were such a blessing during my "stressed out bride" mode, I truly mean it from the bottom of my heart. After purchasing my dress dress from David's Bridal, I knew it needed to be altered to make it truly perfect on me. I did A LOT of research, and when I reached out to Lilly, she was so kind. She's a remarkable seamstress- the whole bunch of them there. I think the payment is reasonable. $40 for hem fix on a bridesmaid dress. $140 for extra pieces added to a bridesmaid gown basically.
