I had an angular lob that had grown out, so all I wanted was a trim in order to even out the ends and bring the length up to touch my shoulders. I told Carol that I had existing layers, but I didn't want the layers to go too high on my head because I wear my hair naturally curly. I even showed her a picture of what I wanted. I ended up with a mullet with one side longer than the other. Carol kept saying my thick hair needed to be thinned out, so she created 2 inch layers that encircled my entire head. I cannot even side part my hair because the layers are so short and they stick straight up when I try to do that. I would think that creating short layers makes thick, curly hair appear thicker, so I don't know why she did that. I went back and had it fixed by Kathy, who was absolutely wonderful. I do not recommend Carol for curly or thick hair. She just graduated from hair school and needs more training. I feel she should have declined to cut my hair if she didn't know how to cut curly hair. I'm still rating the salon as 4 stars because I had a great experience in the past with Michelle and Kathy did an amazing job making Carol's work into an actual bob

They have palm trees and palapas hanging over your massage chairs. You'd think it would be tacky, but trust me ladies, it's absolutely adorable. The ladies who run this shop have got to be the sweetest people on Earth. Very engaging and I found it awesome that they knew *every* client that walked in by name, even this young boy that was no older than nine-years-old. Cutie pie. What I loved even more about my pedi? There was no rush. I know some salons want - or think you want - to get in and out the door, but it was relaxing to take the time and rejuvenate. Take your time, let that hot water soak up your tiny toes ... flip through almost two magazines... and walk out with a smile on your face knowing it only cost 25 bucks.
